Cultivation Through Artifacts-Chapter 351 - Limit Breaker
On top of the small hill, Senior Lin was sitting in a lotus position and meditating with the Elders around her doing the same. None of them talked nor moved as all of them concentrated on themselves in silence, trying to break the current shackles in their bodies that deterred them from entering the next Cultivation Stage.
BOOM!
"?!"
As all of them were concentrating on their own cultivation, suddenly a huge explosion shook the ground below their bodies, forcing all of their eyes to snap open in a flash and their guards to be raised in no time.
After the sudden appearance of the Night Crawler Race, none of them, including Senior Lin, could remain calm when a slight tremor or ruckus was caused in or around the sect, as all of them suspected the first right of the bat.
"What happened?" Senior Lin activated one of her Martial Techniques to look around the sect, especially around the entrance, but to her great surprise the explosion didn't come from there, but from the center of the sect instead!
"Isn't that area..." as a sudden realization hit her, Senior Lin shot up onto her feet and without saying anything else vanished from her spot, surprising all the Elders around her.
"What are you all waiting for? Let's go!" Elder Shiu scoffed at the rest coldly and he too stood up quickly before vanishing into thin air and following the route where Senior Lin has vanished into a few moments ago.
All the Elders vanished one after another after hearing Elder Shiu, but once they reappeared several hundred meters away before the source of the explosion, all of their eyes widened as if they were saucers.
"The residence... Did it... explode? But how?" an Elder that looked to be in his forties with a long beard and wide shoulders asked shockingly, his usually firm and calm gaze now fixed on the huge piles of broken debris and boulders with fright and disbelief.
Everyone, including himself, knew perfectly well that the place where now only ruin could be seen once stood a solid building that was capable of withstanding even a few strikes from a Peak Limit Breaker thanks to the materials it was built from and the arrays it has been installed with!
Yet, such a building was destroyed entirely, induced completely into nothing more but dust and rubble under a seemingly few seconds if not less!
"Sect Master... Isn't this place is..." Elder Rene Shiu stepped closer to Senior Lin's side, whose pretty face now seemed to be completely frozen and pale, almost like she just saw a ghost in the night!
"Sect Mas...ter? Huh?" Elder Shiu was about to ask his question once again as he got no answer for the first time, but before he had the chance to do so, the center of the huge ruins began to move before a powerful aura exploded from below, sending several pieces flying high up into the air.
"Damn... That was close!" Khal's seemingly exhausted voice appeared in the air which was followed by a deep sigh the next second, making Senior Lin's stiff complexion relax and a sigh of relief escape her mouth between her cherry lips as she watched Khal's figure emerge from below the ruins unscathed.
"Congratulations on your breakthrough, Disciple Khal. Or should I call you Elder Khal instead?" Senior Lin walked toward Khal with a calm smile, but soon had to stop in her track the moment her eyes began to wander at Khal's lower parts, only to realize he wore nothing at all!
He was completely naked and every part of his skin was before bare sight, including his manhood too!
'What the hell is with that size? Isn't he only 18?' such thoughts appeared in Senior Lin's head as her gaze subconsciously got glued at the thing between Khal's legs before she had to turn her head away with a flushed face, feeling slightly shameless for staring so intensely and long.
Although being Moon Sect's master for almost a decade now who could get anything easily, Senior Lin was still a woman, and such an unexpected scene such as this could catch her off guard rather easily no matter if she was good at hiding her emotions behind a cold mask or not.
She couldn't keep her composure together, not after seeing a sight such as the one a few seconds ago that was a fact.
"Huh?" Khal, who until this moment was in deep thought thanks to his breakthrough, after hearing Senior Lin's voice turned to look toward her direction, only to see her looking away with a red face akin to a tomato.
"Senior Lin? Why are you he-" Khal was about to ask Senior Lin why she was here, but suddenly turned silent as he noticed the awkward atmosphere in the air, quickly making him realize something was not quite right.
And just as the sudden realization hit him, Khal lowered his gaze, and the only thing that came out of his mouth was a...
"Oh..."
Admitting his mistake and apologizing in his heart several times for showing such a shameful sight for Senior Lin, Khal quickly waved his hand and after summoning his Moon Robe from his spatial ring into his hand, he quickly began to put it on.
Once the silver robe was completely on him, Khal cleared his throat and walked before Senior Lin, pretending as if nothing happened. 𝘧𝘳𝐞𝚎𝑤ℯ𝘣𝗻𝘰ѵℯl.c𝐨𝚖
"Sect Master. It seems my breakthrough caused a little bit of a... mess. How should I compensate for the damage?"
Senior Lin hearing Khal's calm voice and seeing that he acted indifferently and seemingly unfazed after all that happened showed slight surprise, but only for a split second as the next, she realized she overreacted things more than needed.
In the end, she was an adult and such a sight was not a first for her to see, so acting like a maiden was unneeded.
As she thought about this, her usually proud but cold complexion appeared once again, and her serene gaze glanced at Khal in front of him before looking around herself and shaking her head gently.
"There is no need for compensation. Even if you have decided to destroy a few more, after what you have done for me and for this sect, I will ignore it as if it was just an accident."
Hearing Senior Lin's words, Khal showed an awkward smile and as he didn't know what to say, just simply scratched the back of his head slowly and remained silent.
