I Just Want to Farm, But My Beasts Keep Evolving!!-Chapter 70: Sadistic Witch of Water
Raiden didn’t know how he had gotten up to his room, or how he found himself in front of the mirror in the bathroom, but he couldn’t stop his heart from beating so fast.
He let the water run freely, splashing the cold water on his face a few times to cool down as he recalled the conversation that had taken place in the corridor.
Flashback
"Sure."
"Hahaha, I thought so, just give me—wait WHAT?!!"
"I said, sure, I will give myself to you, my dear ’Leon’."
Morgana stepped closer and grabbed the back of Raiden’s head as she stared directly into his eyes, making him fluster hard. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Just as he thought he was about to lose his innocence, that woman had the audacity to back away and burst into laughter.
"Hahahahaha, you should have seen your face!! So priceless!!"
Raiden didn’t react for a second, but when he did, he started to feel rising shame in his chest.
But before he could do anything about it, the woman ran away, leaving him standing there confused.
Flashback End
Splash.
Raiden washed his face and looked at himself in the mirror for one last time as he talked to himself.
"Raiden, oh Raiden, if you play with fire, you are bound to get burned. Plus, you can’t afford to play with such rich princesses anyway. Focus on your mission. Just take the money and get out of here. You live in different worlds.
"Woolie!!" Human!! Come here quickly!
Raiden heard Woolie shouting from inside the room, making him forget about his worries temporarily. He quickly rushed inside the room only to find the sheep bouncing happily on the King-sized bed.
"Woo~Liee!!" This bed is so soo~oft. Come up here quickly!!
Seeing him jumping up and down so happily, Raiden laughed and joined in as both of them enjoyed their luxury room to the fullest.

The next morning, a knock on the door roused him from his sleep, and he brought his tired body to open the door.
Standing in front of him was a woman in a hotel staff uniform, blushing a little as she glanced at shirtless Raiden, who opened the door for her.
"Good morning, Master Raiden. The matches for the competition will begin in two hours, and before that, we have prepared a lavish breakfast for you. I hope you can join the rest of them downstairs. Thank you."
"Huh? What competition? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember. I’ll be downstairs soon. Thank you." Raiden closed the door and started to get ready as he pulled Woolie out of the bed and directly to the shower.
After thirty minutes and a shower, Raiden made his way downstairs towards the banquet hall and started grabbing all the food, ignoring everyone else present in the venue.
After stuffing his plate to the brim, he found an empty seat and started eating heartily, ignoring all the glances and whispers his way.
"Eat as much as you can, Woolie. We must not waste any food here." He has a feeling that the food he was eating right now wasn’t something he could afford usually, so he planned to get his money’s worth as much as he could.
"Woolie!!" Woolie nodded in agreement as he also ate everything in front of him at the speed of a storm, earning even more weird looks their way, but Raiden didn’t care.
"You know, it’s an unlimited all-you-can-eat buffet. You can take your time to eat. Nobody is going to snatch food from you." An amused voice called him out in the front, as he snapped his head up from eating to glance at the speaker.
Sitting in front of him was a woman he didn’t recognise. At first glance, she looked like a deep-sea creature, with deep blue hair, blue eyes and an angular and soft watery face. Wearing a blue overcoat, she fit the theme of a water princess overall.
"And you are...?" Raiden asked, unsurely, not pausing in the middle of his eating.
"Oh, where are my manners? My name is Marina. It’s a pleasure to meet you, the infamous guy who clashed with the Prince of Light on his first day here." The girl smiled widely as she extended her hand with white gloves for a handshake.
Raiden glanced at his messy hands, before glancing at the pristine white gloves in her hands, before glancing at his hands again.
He quickly wiped his hands off a napkin nearby before extending his hand to meet hers.
"Nice to meet you as well, miss. But who is this prince of light you keep talking about??"
"Huh?? You don’t know Prince of Light?? Tall, blond, walks like he has something stuck up his arse?? That guy. You are Leon, aren’t you??"
Hearing her words, Raiden blinked for a moment before he grinned and nodded.
"Oh, that arrogant golden-haired bastard, I remember him. Don’t worry about that. He is just a small nobody. Want some fruit?" Raiden extended some fruits from his plate to the lady, who seemed to be caught off guard with the offer, before she chuckled and gracefully accepted the offer.
"I actually came here to warn you, but it seems you don’t need any warnings." She mused while eating some mango pieces with a toothpick.
"Warn me? About what?"
"Well, that guy is an incredibly vengeful sort. I heard you bragged about your family in front of him. So I reckon that by now, his goons must have already reached your city and started dismantling your family businesses by now. I think that by the time you get back to your house, you will find your clan and all your family businesses gone or in shambles."
Marina looked closely at Raiden’s face to see any sort of reaction to the news, but he seemed incredibly calm about it. If anything, he seemed slightly happy to hear the news.
"You don’t seem all that worried about your family?" She asked curiously.
"Hahaha, what’s there to be worried about. My family isn’t something he can take care of so easily. We have the biggest underground network and rule the darkness of the whole city. I dare him to go after our family if he can. We don’t fear anything. If he dares, we will dismantle his god, something clan or whatever it is."
Raiden started bullshitting with a straight face, as he talked even more loudly, attracting some glances along his way.
Hearing his words, Marina started to laugh, while imagining what will happen to his face will look like when he goes back home and finds everything in shambles. She didn’t think the underground network of any city could even begin to compare with the Goldwyn clan, the de facto leaders of the capital city.
"Hehehe. You are such an interesting person, Leon. Well, it was nice to meet you. I hope to see you again on the stage. I will take my leave for now, goodbye~" The woman pulled out a Renaissance timepiece pocket watch attached to a silver chain, looked at it before getting up and leaving gracefully.
Unfazed, Raiden went back to eating his food. Whoever these rich princes and princesses were, it was none of his business. It’s not like he will ever come across them again in the future.
"So there you were, I’ve been looking all over for you." Morgana approached the table as soon as that woman left, as they both nodded to each other along the way.
"Chirrp~" Cinder followed her as she dived down beside Woolie, snatching his food.
"Woolie!~" Hey, that’s my food!
"Chirrp!~" And I am your little sister, so your food is also my food!
Cinder argued, leaving Woolie speechless. Her logic was so solid that he couldn’t find any faults with it. So he obediently went back to eating other things in front of him.
"By the way, what did that witch want with you?" Morgana asked as she took a seat across from him, pulling some food for herself from his plate, acting almost like Cinder.
"Oh, nothing much. She just came to warn me about that golden bastard clan and how he has already begun to take revenge on my ’Leon’s’ family. I was like, bring it on." Raiden answered nonchalantly.
Hearing this, Morgana choked on her food, coughing wildly as she stared at him in disbelief.
"You—"
"Me what?"
"Nothing. It’s just that it matches the description of her, the Sadistic Witch of Water." Morgana answered as she drained a glass of water on the table.
"Who, Marina??" Raiden asked.
"Yes. The word is, she is a big sadist and loves to see despair on other people’s faces. I bet when she came here, she wanted to see the same look on your face. Too bad, she didn’t know you were not any Leon at all."
Raiden felt speechless. The kids over here have already started to develop so many different kinds of personalities. Morgana had started taking after her Dominatrix-like mother, the golden-haired bastard from yesterday acted like a typical young master, and now this girl in blue acted like a sadist.
He wondered if all these personalities stemmed from bad childcare or something else.
"Oh, I almost forgot. Mom is calling us to meet her before our match. She has something to say to us. Let’s go."
Morgana said as she stood up.
Raiden nodded at her words and started eating at the speed of light, finishing his plate in a matter of seconds. No wasting of food here.
"Alright, let’s go."
’This Intercity Competition, it’s mine.’
