Creating A Succubus Army In A Fantasy World!-Chapter 9: Why Stop There?
Chapter 9: Why Stop There?
A deep, heavy sigh escaped Creed's lips.
"You really need to stop hugging me in public," he muttered, his voice a mix of resignation and mild annoyance.
But his words might as well have been whispers against the wind.
Lilith didn't just hug him—she latched onto him like a koala clinging to a tree in the middle of a hurricane.
Her arms were wrapped around his waist, her soft body pressed tightly against him, and her face nuzzled into his chest with a satisfied hum.
She was completely, utterly, and unapologetically glued to him.
And it wasn't the first time. This had already happened inside his apartment.
And now—outside the Bastion? In the danger zones?
Creed's expression twitched as his mind went wild with thoughts.
'Is this girl addicted to physical contact?'
Seriously. This had to be some kind of addiction. It was like she was obsessed with physical contact!
And not in a normal way—in a full blown, body-clinging, zero-personal-space kind of way.
If he didn't pry her off soon, he was going to end up becoming one with Lilith at a molecular level.
What kind of battle summon was this?!
For the love of everything holy, they were literally standing outside of a Bastion!
One wrong move, one moment of distraction, and a Dimensional Beast could rip them both apart!
And here she was, acting like they were some couple enjoying a romantic sunset stroll.
This girl was too dangerous—and not just for enemies.
"Alright, enough," Creed grunted, using all his strength to pry her arms off him.
It took several seconds of struggle, but he finally managed to detach himself from her overly clingy but nonetheless comfortable embrace.
It wasn't that he didn't like being squished between those two huge mounds, it was just that at this moment, the only spear he needed to work with was in his hand.
No distractions!
Lilith pouted, her deep violet eyes glistening with fake betrayal, but before she could say anything—
Growl!
A sound cut through the air.
A low, eerie growl.
Creed's body locked up instantly.
The sound was deep and guttural, vibrating through the broken ruins around them.
It felt too close. Way too close for comfort!
A chill crawled up Creed's spine.
His fingers instinctively tightened around his spear. His breaths slowed, but his heart raced faster.
This was it!
The moment everyone feared when stepping outside the protective walls of a Bastion.
An encounter.
A real, living, bloodthirsty Dimensional Beast!
Creed's mind was screaming at him to run—but he grit his teeth.
No.

Fear was natural—but giving in to it was not an option.
He forced himself to move, his eyes darting to the source of the sound.
A shadow stirred amidst the rubble of a collapsed building.
Then—a beast stepped into view.
It was a wolf.
But not just any wolf.
It was massive, at least half the height of an adult human and nearly twice as long!
Its fur was wild and untamed, strands of dark gray and black sticking out in every direction, making it appear even larger than it already was.
Its eyes glowed red, eerie and unnatural, burning with a sinister light. Its claws were long, black, and sharp enough to slice through flesh like butter.
Creed's heart pounded.
This was bad.
His instincts screamed danger, but he shoved the panic down and raised his wrist slightly, pointing his Dimensional Bracelet at the beast.
Luckily, his bracelet was a Level 2 Dimensional Bracelet and had the scanning function.
[Initiate Scan.]
The bracelet hummed, releasing a faint pulse of energy.
A second later, text appeared in his mind.
[ Dimensional Beast Identified: Quasi Stage 1 Shaggy Wolf. ]
Creed exhaled, slightly relieved.
A quasi stage 1 beast wasn't too strong. This was manageable. He and Lilith should be able to fight it together.
But before he could even finish breathing out—
The wolf lunged!
A Sudden Attack!
"Shit—!"
It was fast!
Faster than he expected!
A blur of dark fur and glowing red eyes shot toward him like a bullet, claws extended, fangs bared.
Creed's body tensed.
He grasped his spear tightly, mentally preparing for the clash—
BZZZZZZZTTTTTTTT!
A sharp, electrifying sound tore through the air.
Before Creed could even react, Lilith moved.
And by moved—she disappeared!
No, She became lightning itself. One moment, she was next to him, the next, she was a streak of violet lightning shooting toward the wolf!
BOOM!
Lilith slammed into the beast before it could even react. The beast barely had time to flinch before—
BOOM!
Another small explosion erupted as Lilith's small fist connected with the wolf's head.
A thunderous crack followed.
A massive surge of purple lightning burst out, wrapping around the beast's skull like a cage of raw destruction.
And then...
POP!
The wolf's head...
Literally exploded!
Creed's mind short circuited.
He just... stared.
At the headless corpse of the wolf.
Its body still twitched, faint sparks of purple lightning dancing along its fur.
What. The. Hell.
He knew Lilith was strong, but this?!
If she had used that kind of power on him during their "Primordial Exchange," he wouldn't have lasted a single round.
Forget a single round—he wouldn't have survived a single second! One bounce and his spine would shatter!
Lilith turned toward him, her violet eyes glowing with satisfaction.
"Did I please you, Master~?" she purred.
Creed quickly snapped out of his shock. A slow, amused grin crept up his face.
"Very much."
But deep inside, his thoughts were racing.
'I'm going to be rich!'
Lilith was way stronger than he expected.
Originally, his plan was simple—hunt a few quasi stage 1 beasts, get some practice, and call it a day.
But now?
Why stop there?
If Lilith was this powerful...
Maybe they could try hunting a genuine Stage 1 beast!
Creed's grip on his spear tightened. The hunt wasn't over yet.
It had only just begun.
