Creating A Succubus Army In A Fantasy World!-Chapter 8: Let The Hunt Begin!
Chapter 8: Let The Hunt Begin!
Creed sat on the simple wooden floor of his tiny, barely furnished apartment, staring at the long, plain wooden box in front of him.
It had just been delivered—less than an hour after he placed the order.
That was faster than expected.
The package itself looked completely unremarkable.
Just a rectangular wooden container, sealed tightly, with a stamped serial number on top. No fancy engravings. No decorative symbols.
Just a box holding his first weapon. It was as simple as it could get.
And yet, Creed couldn't help but feel a strange excitement bubbling in his chest.
With careful hands, he slid his fingers under the lid and slowly lifted it.
Inside, resting snugly in a layer of protective cloth, was his first weapon in this world.
A 7-foot-long spear with a deep red shaft and a sharp, pointed silver blade.
Creed reached out and slowly wrapped his fingers around the shaft, lifting it from its case.
The moment he held it, he felt a strong pull...
Because it was heavier than expected!
But it's weight was still manageable, it wasn't to the point of being unusable.
He unwrapped the protective cloth and let the full spear rest across his lap.
It was a simple spear—nothing extravagant.
No mystical runes. No glowing aura. Just a straight, lightweight shaft leading up to a razor sharp, silver spearhead.
But despite its simplicity, Creed could tell—this weapon was deadly.
He held the shaft tightly and gave it a few experimental spins.
The balance was excellent. The weight felt just right.
And the blade?
Creed ran his thumb carefully along the edge.
"...Damn."
It was sharp.
Way sharper than anything he had ever seen before.
Even though this was the cheapest weapon available, it could probably cut through solid metal if used properly!
He spun it again, faster this time, letting the cool air brush against his skin.
For the first time since arriving in this world, he finally had a weapon. At last he wasn't completely defenseless anymore.
He smirked.
Now things were getting serious.
Creed placed the spear aside and stretched his arms. He would soon be heading out of the bastion for his first hunting expedition.

But before heading out, he needed to freshen up.
A quick, cold shower. A fresh black shirt and tattered jeans.
Then, food.
He opened his nearly empty pantry and grabbed a small piece of dry bread and a bottle of water.
That was it.
That was all he could afford for now.
He took a bite, chewing slowly. The bread was stale and hard, but it was still better than starving.
As he ate, he pulled up his system interface.
[ Unused Stat Points: 1 ]
He had one free stat point to allocate, thanks to last night's... sacrifice.
His body instinctively shuddered at the bittersweet memory.
'Yeah... never again. Eight rounds is too much. Even for me.'
But no time for distractions. He tapped his Dimensional Bracelet thrice and brought up his interface.
His four core stats appeared in front of him.
...
[Dimensional Interface.]
Name: Creed Walden
Stage: Awakened (Basic)
Progress: 0/100]
[Talent: Primordial Summoning. (SSS)]
Strength: 1
Speed: 2
Constitution: 3
Energy: 4
[Talent Ability(s).]

[Bloodline(s)]
-
[System Abilities.]
-
[Technique(s)]

...
Creed frowned.
His Strength stat was his weakest.
Which made sense. The owner of the body he transmigrated into didn't focus on brute force—but on precision.
But now, that wouldn't cut it.
No matter how fast or skilled he was, if he couldn't even pierce through a Dimensional Beast's tough hide, he was dead.
And so, he made his choice.
[ +1 Strength ]
[ Strength: 1 → 2 ]
Instantly, he felt a significant change. His grip on the spear felt firmer. His arms felt slightly heavier—but in a good way.
Even the spear in his grasp felt lighter, and not by a small amount.
It wasn't too drastic, but it was a good start. There were still many more 'sessions' to come.
With his decision made, Creed grabbed his spear, slung it over his back, and stepped out of his apartment.
The moment he did, the chaotic energy of Section 7 hit him.
Crowded streets.
Rickety stalls lining the sidewalks.
The distant noise of shouting vendors and bartering customers.
Life in Section 7 was harsh.
It was the lowest and worst part of the entire MoonLake Bastion.
In every Bastion, the population was divided into seven sections—with Section 1 being the best and Section 7 being the worst.
Higher sections had cleaner streets, safer environments, better food, and better jobs.
The difference was staggering.
And most importantly—they had priority evacuation during Beast Tides.
Because in this world, survival was never guaranteed.
Ninety eight years ago, the world changed forever.
The First Dimensional Rift opened, unleashing eleven Dimensional Beast Kings and hundreds of Dimensional Beast Lords onto Earth.
Human civilization collapsed overnight.
Entire cities were erased. Countries fell.
And the survivors?
They gathered into fortified cities called Bastions. But even those weren't completely safe.
Because every year, during Dimensional Beast Tides, entire Bastions could be wiped out overnight.
And MoonLake Bastion?
It was a Tier 5 Bastion—the lowest of the low. Barely able to protect itself. Hanging by a thread.
Creed knew that if a Beast Tide ever came... they would be the first to die.
And so, he had no choice. If he wanted to live, he had to get stronger. Fast.
After navigating through the crowded streets, Creed finally arrived at the massive exit facility.
[ MoonLake Bastion Gate ]
It was the only place where people could leave or enter the Bastion.
But not everyone could just walk out.
If you were a normal human without a Dimensional Bracelet, you weren't even allowed outside without protection.
Why?
Because leaving the Bastion meant stepping into a world filled with death.
The lands beyond were nothing but ruins, abandoned cities, and dense forests overrun by Dimensional Beasts.
But Creed wasn't normal.
He walked up to the security checkpoint and held up his wrist.
His Dimensional Bracelet flashed.
[ Verification Complete. Access Granted. ]
With a low mechanical hum, the reinforced steel gates slowly slid open.
Creed took a deep breath and stepped through.
The moment he exited, the atmosphere changed. The air felt heavier. The world quieter.
Ahead of him stretched a landscape of abandoned buildings and cracked roads—remnants of the world before the Rift.
Beyond that...
A thick, sprawling forest.
Dark. Vast. Unforgiving.
Creed exhaled sharply, gripping his spear tighter. Even though he had been through countless 'battles' in his past life...
This place still gave him a strong sense of unease. Afterall, Dimensional Beasts could be anywhere.
He clenched his jaw and exhaled slowly.
"Alright... Let's do this."
Then, without hesitation, he raised his hand and activated his summon.
A dark, swirling mist appeared before him. A moment later, Lilith materialized.
Her seductive violet eyes locked onto him immediately.
She stretched, her voluptuous body barely covered by her revealing black outfit, her bat like wings fluttering slightly.
"Master~" she purred, flashing a playful smile.
Creed smirked.
"Let the hunt begin."
