Creating A Succubus Army In A Fantasy World!-Chapter 22: Beast Lord!
Chapter 22: Beast Lord!
The massive gorilla bared its fangs, its crimson eyes burning with pure, primal rage. Every muscle on its towering, three-meter-tall body tensed like a coiled spring, ready to unleash absolute devastation.
Creed gritted his teeth, his fingers tightening around his spear.
His left arm ached, his shoulder felt like it was dislocated, and his energy reserves were starting to run low.
But there was no time to hesitate. If he let this thing get the upper hand, he was dead.
BOOM!
The gorilla slammed its hands against the ground, and the earth cracked.
A violent shockwave erupted, sending debris flying into the air and shaking the entire battlefield like an earthquake had just struck.
Creed's instincts screamed at him.
MOVE!
He kicked off the ground with all his strength. And not a second too soon. Because where he had been standing?
The ground had caved in!
A literal crater had formed from the sheer force of the gorilla's pounding fists.
Creed barely had time to process that before the gorilla lunged again.
A massive shadow loomed over him as the beast swung its colossal fist down, aiming to crush him into the ground like an insect.
But this time, Creed was ready.
Lightning crackled across his body, purple sparks surging through his veins as he pushed Empowerment to the fullest.
And then he moved. Faster than before.
The moment the gorilla's fist came down, Creed twisted his body, dodging by a hair's breadth and counterattacked.
His spear, now glowing with purple lightning, thrust forward like a viper, aiming for the beast's exposed side.
CRACK!
A burst of electricity surged through the air as the tip of his spear pierced into the gorilla's flesh.
The beast howled in pain, its massive body jerking back as purple sparks danced across its fur.
But Creed didn't stop.
He spun his spear, his movements fluid, precise, and immediately struck again—this time slashing across its thigh, cutting deep into muscle.
Blood splattered onto the ground, steaming from the heat of the lightning still lingering in the wounds.
The gorilla roared in fury, its eyes blazing with even more rage.
And then it slammed its hands down again.
BOOOOOM!
Another shockwave blasted outward. This time, Creed was too close.
The impact hit him like a battering ram, the force lifting him off the ground and sending him crashing into the dirt nearly ten meters away.
Pain exploded in his ribs. His lungs burned. For a brief moment, his vision blurred as he struggled to suck in a breath.
And then the gorilla charged again!
Creed forced himself to move.
His legs screamed in protest, his body already reaching its limit, but he had no choice.
He rolled to the side just as the gorilla's massive fist crashed down, creating another deep crater in the ground.
If that had hit him, he would've been paste.
Creed's mind raced. This thing was too strong. His spear attacks were working, but not fast enough.
And worse?
His body was beginning to feel the strain of activating empowerment.
Empowerment was draining him, and he could already feel the lightning flickering, struggling to maintain its full power.
He needed to end this. Now.
Creed gritted his teeth, tightening his grip on his spear. And then he charged forward.
Lightning erupted from his body once again, coating his spear with even more deadly energy.
The gorilla swung its massive arm at him, but this time, Creed didn't dodge.
He slid under it, ducking low, his spear thrusting upwards in a brutal counterattack straight into the beast's ribs!
BZZZZT!
The lightning-infused spear pierced deep, crackling violently as it sent shockwaves of electricity tearing through the gorilla's body.
The beast bellowed in agony, staggering back, and for the first time since the fight began, it looked unsteady.
Creed panted, his vision swimming from exhaustion.
He had to finish this NOW.
He saw his opportunity!
Above them, the Bastion's energy cannons were still firing. One blast was already charging up, locked onto another beast nearby.
But Creed had other plans. With one final burst of energy, he sprinted forward and tackled the gorilla—HARD.
Right into the line of fire!
BOOOOOOM!
The yellow energy blast struck the gorilla dead center. And just like that, the beast exploded.
Flesh, blood, and burning fur rained from the sky, the sheer force of the impact sending shockwaves through the battlefield.
Creed, completely drained, could only stare at the smoldering remains of the once-fearsome beast.
And then, his legs gave out.
He collapsed onto the ground, panting, his vision fading at the edges.
He had won. But he wasn't safe yet. He wasn't safe at all!
The only reason why he had been able to fight the gorilla uninterrupted was because it was already a pack leader and was feared by other lower level beasts.
The Beast Tide was still far from over.
He needed to reach the bastion quick!
.....
The battlefield outside the flickering energy dome was pure chaos.
Thousands of dimensional beasts continued to die by the second, their massive bodies ripped apart by the unrelenting barrage of energy blasts raining down from the Bastion's automated cannons.
The sleek black turrets, embedded in the walls, kept firing nonstop, each shot a deadly streak of yellow energy that obliterated any beast unfortunate enough to be caught in its path.

But the tide wasn't stopping.
The lower-stage beasts had already been thinned out, their numbers dropping fast under the overwhelming firepower.
Yet more and more powerful creatures had begun pushing forward, climbing over the corpses of their own kin, their eyes burning with madness.
The energy dome itself was struggling.
The once stable, glowing blue barrier was now flashing dangerously, its once smooth surface trembling with every brutal impact from the larger, stronger creatures.
Every time a Stage 3 beast slammed into it, the entire dome flickered like a dying lightbulb, sending cracks of unstable energy running across its surface.
The Bastion was barely holding on.
And then—
BOOM!
A loud impact rocked the dome as a tall, bloodied figure was suddenly flung through the air.
His body was a broken mess.
Creed crashed into the energy dome brutally, his back arching in agony as a fresh wave of pain shot through his already battered body.
His right shoulder was completely dislocated, his left arm barely moving, and his body was covered in multiple deep, bloody gashes—evidence of the countless battles he had barely survived.
And the worst part?
The one who threw him was a massive, scaled lizard, standing on four legs, its amber eyes gleaming with cold amusement.
It had flicked its tail like a whip and sent Creed flying like a ragdoll.
Creed gasped for air, his lungs burning, his vision swimming from exhaustion.
But he couldn't stop. Not now.
He turned his head, looking at the towering energy dome, and he screamed.
"HEY! LET ME IN!"
.....
Inside the Control Tower
The Bastion's control room was filled with tension.
DMA Officials sat before a massive digital screen, their faces grim, their hands flying over control panels as they monitored every detail of the battle outside.
The stats were bad.
The energy dome's power reserves had dropped to 27%.
The cannons were overheating.
The remaining energy cores wouldn't last another fifteen minutes.
And worst of all more high-stage beasts were approaching.
One of the subordinates suddenly stiffened.
"Commander—look at this!"
The main screen magnified, focusing on a single, bloodied figure.
Creed.
The youth was shouting, desperately fighting, his body torn and battered, yet still refusing to die.
Everyone stared.
Silence.
Then one of the higher officials clenched his fists.
"...He's still alive."
"He's one of ours."
"But if we open the dome now, dimensional beasts will get in."
A deadly silence filled the room. They all knew the risks. If a stage 3 Dimensional Beast managed to get in, hell would descend.
Then the topmost officer, an older man with silver hair and a stern, tired expression, spoke.
"...We open the dome."
Gasps.
"Commander—"
"Just for a split second." His voice was calm.
"The moment we open it, we fire all cannons at once."
"If he makes it in, he lives. If not—"
He didn't finish. Everyone understood.
.....
Back outside, Creed's hope was already fading. His body was shaking with fear.
They weren't going to open it. He was going to be abandoned again!
Again. Just like before. Just like always!
His hands curled into fists, his vision turning dark. And then, it happened.
SHHHHHHRRRRRIPPP!
A narrow slit of energy suddenly appeared in the dome. A way in!
Creed's heart leaped. They opened it!
GO!
Without hesitation, he pounced forward, just as a peak Stage 2 Snow Wolf lunged for his legs.
Its fangs snapped, just inches away...
Creed jerked his body, rolling mid-air, his leg getting scratched but not bitten. And then, he crossed through.
He was in!
His body hit the cold, hard ground, but he didn't stop moving.
The emergency gate.
He had to get inside!
But then...
ROOOOAAAAARRRRRR!
A terrifying, deafening roar shook the air. Everything stopped. The cannons fell silent. The beasts froze in terror. The ground shook.
Creed's blood ran cold. This sound...
Even the dimensional beasts were trembling. What the hell was that?!
.....
Inside the Control Room.
The entire command center went silent. A single subordinate stared at the screen, his face draining of color.
His voice shook.
"...B-Beast Lord."
Silence. Then the Commander sighed. His eyes were tired.
"...This is the end of Moonlake Bastion."
He slowly turned.
"Begin the emergency evacuation."
