Comprehension Ability: Creating the Five Thunders Technique in Reality-Chapter 1024 - 515: Major Trouble (Part 2)
So, Lin Beichen raised his right hand, held up two fingers, and began to recite the spell quietly.
As the final words of the spell were spoken, the figures of Flying Eagle, Flame, Thunder, and the old Daoist gradually appeared before everyone.
...
"Lin Beichen, you're really something! Without your Invisibility Talisman, we really wouldn't have been able to scare that group so badly," Flame said with a laugh.
Earlier, when Lin Beichen suggested splitting into two groups, he gave each of the four of them an Invisibility Talisman.
They held their positions, waiting a few minutes after Lin Beichen and the others went inside before using the talismans themselves.
They easily dealt with the guards that came out. Being invisible, those people couldn't see them and thought it was a supernatural event, scaring them out of their wits.
They quietly watched as Lin Beichen negotiated with Galsa and Monroe, waiting for Lin Beichen's instructions. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
Then they disarmed the opponents, leaving them unable to resist.
Their mission wasn't considered complete until the people were thoroughly collapsed and revealed Long Chuzhi's whereabouts.
Since the Invisibility Talisman's effect hadn't expired, they couldn't show themselves until Lin Beichen dispelled the spell.
...
Lin Beichen smiled faintly: "These people are used to life and death, direct gun threats may not work. Only this eerie and sinister atmosphere can instill fear in their hearts and break their defenses."
Xia Luyao looked at the controlled Galsa and others and asked, "Monroe has already left, how should we deal with these people?"
Lin Beichen looked at Galsa and the others, sighed lightly, and was about to speak when Galsa interrupted him.
"Please spare me! I have nothing to do with this! I'll promise you anything as long as you spare me!" Galsa pleaded, his face pale.
Lin Beichen smiled nonchalantly and stepped forward, asking, "You'll really promise anything?"
Galsa nodded without hesitation: "I promise! As long as you don't kill me, I'll agree to anything!"
He had witnessed Lin Beichen's terrifying methods and abilities, and the strange and bizarre deaths of the guards instilled fear in him.
Lin Beichen looked at Galsa's fearful expression, chuckled, and said, "In that case, go have your subordinates uproot everything planted in the Forbidden Land, not a single plant left."
Galsa hesitated for a moment: "But those are all..."
"Didn't you just say you'd agree to anything? What, are you willing to risk your life for those things?" Lin Beichen interrupted sternly.
Galsa trembled in his heart and quickly said, "No! I agree! I'll order them to uproot them right away!"
So, Galsa immediately ordered the guards by his side to take a team to remove the plants from the Forbidden Land.
...
"It's already late. Why don't we leave the dungeon first? I've arranged accommodations for you in the palace, where you can rest well," Galsa said cautiously.
Lin Beichen took a glance at the still-unconscious Long Chuzhi and nodded in agreement with the suggestion.
So, Galsa led them out of the dungeon and toward the palace.
Upon reaching the palace, the group first sat down on the sofa, then Galsa immediately arranged accommodations for them.
"Quickly! You guys hurry and prepare a few of the best rooms for these guests to make sure they stay comfortable!" Galsa said sternly to the attendants, then turned and cheerfully asked Lin Beichen and the others, "Do you have any other requests?"
Lin Beichen glanced at him and slowly said, "No requests, but don't act like a pimp greeting guests, it's nauseating."
Galsa, displaying humbleness, asked, "What does pimp mean?"
Lin Beichen sighed lightly, unwilling to explain, and waved his hand, saying, "It's nothing, you don't need to know."
Seeing that Lin Beichen refused to explain, Galsa dared not press further and cheerfully changed the subject, preparing tea for them, fearful of neglecting them.
...
"Report! General, something terrible has happened!" a guard rushed in nervously.
Galsa snapped impatiently, "What's the matter? Why are you so flustered? Can't you see I have guests?"
The guard, seeing Galsa's stern face, quickly said, "General, there really is a big problem! Just now Monroe urgently took off with a helicopter from the island, and not long after, the helicopter encountered a fierce thunderstorm and crashed into the sea!"
After hearing the guard's report, Galsa was stunned. Monroe's helicopter crashed?
"Has there been a salvage operation? Is there any chance of survival?" Galsa asked involuntarily.
The guard shook his head gently and said solemnly, "The helicopter had already left the island, and we've sent people by boat to the scene."
He paused and continued, "But according to our observations, the helicopter was completely destroyed by the thunderstorm, leaving little chance of survival inside."
Everyone watched through the monitors as the helicopter was struck by a bolt of lightning, disintegrating it instantly, with debris scattered across the sea. In such a disaster, survival was almost impossible.
The hall fell silent, with Galsa and others shocked by this sudden news. Monroe, unexpectedly, encountered such misfortune while trying to escape the island.
"Monroe barely escaped alive, only to encounter a thunderstorm; it seems fate is unavoidable," Flying Eagle remarked.
Flame sipped his tea and casually commented, "That's just Monroe's bad luck."
Xia Luyao, hearing this, turned to look at Lin Beichen. He sat calmly on the sofa, sipping tea, as if everything was within his expectations.
"Lin Beichen, you don't seem surprised at all," Xia Luyao asked curiously.
Lin Beichen looked up at her, and with composure, he said, "Why be surprised?"
Xia Luyao's eyes flashed with doubt, "You're so calm, did you foresee this?"
Lin Beichen put down his teacup and smiled, "I observed the celestial phenomena before acting tonight and knew there would be a thunderstorm."
Upon hearing this, Xia Luyao and the Venomous Snake Special Team members suddenly understood. It turned out that in the dungeon, Lin Beichen let Monroe go easily because he had already foreseen everything.
After Monroe escaped from the dungeon, he hurriedly piloted a machine to leave. Preoccupied with fleeing for his life, he might not have noticed the weather change. As a result, shortly after takeoff, his helicopter encountered a thunderstorm, and his hopes of survival turned into a bubble.
Once everyone pieced together the story, they couldn't help but admire Lin Beichen's wisdom. The old Daoist shook his head and sighed, "I knew with your scheming nature, you wouldn't let Monroe have it easy."
Lin Beichen smiled without speaking, as if everything was under his control. Barney, Christmas, and Galsa, however, remained bewildered.
"Wait a minute, are you saying Monroe encountering the thunderstorm was what Lin Beichen expected?" Barney asked skeptically.
Lin Beichen nodded, "You could say that. I merely judged from the celestial phenomena that there would be a thunderstorm tonight."
"But how could you be sure Monroe's plane would be struck by lightning?" Barney pressed on.
Lin Beichen explained with a smile, "Flying in stormy weather is fraught with danger. Moreover, Monroe had a menacing aura and encountering a thunderstorm only compounded the misfortune. He couldn't escape fate tonight."
Upon hearing about facial signs and omens, even though Christmas and Galsa seemed to understand, they admired Lin Beichen's insight immensely. The Daoist arts of Huaxia are truly inscrutable!
Galsa developed a keen interest in Huaxia's Daoist Sect. If he could learn a thing or two, perhaps he'd guard the island more securely, no longer fearing people like Monroe.
The old Daoist then began to heavily praise Lin Beichen's wonders: "Predicting life and death is a trivial matter for Daoist Lin! He's capable of anything, from immortality to Qi Refining and Immortal Transformation!"
Lin Beichen smiled helplessly; the old Daoist was quite the braggart. But he was too lazy to correct him, after all, those were just empty titles. The important thing was they had successfully escaped danger and exposed Monroe's plot, which was truly delightful!
Galsa's eyes widened instantly, and his admiration for Lin Beichen flowed endlessly like the Yangtze River.
"Immortality? Qi Refining and Immortal Transformation?" he murmured to himself,
