Celestial Speed: Legacy-Chapter 56: North pole

Henry was shocked, he wasn’t wearing the Nitro suit and boot, which proved Felicity’s claim. "What! That’s impossible, I remember running out and..."

"You used every skill you have to reach about ten miles from here in 5 seconds," Felicity interrupted him. "Though I must say, that was pretty impressive," she added and drank from her sapphire glass wine cup.

"Wait! Are you saying i never left?" Henry asked with a surprised expression.

Felicity chuckled. "Well that proves it, doesn’t it?" she said, pointing to the half eaten chicken in front of Henry... Heck his lips had oil all over it.

"This woman... It was all an illusion! I never left, I had even eaten the out of the same food i agreed to abstain from," Henry said inwardly and clenched his fist, he didn’t know what else to do. The woman in front of him was too powerful.

"I give up, what do you want from me?" he sighed and cut a small part of the meat and put it in his mouth. Afterall he had eaten half, why not just finish it.

Felicity smiled. "It’s good to see that you’re corporating. But like I said earlier to your counterpart... I just want to be your mother," she stated

Henry chuckled and was about to put another piece of meat into his mouth but suddenly paused with a stunned expression

"What counterpart?" he frowned. He had a slight idea what she was talking about but he wanted to incorporate the hope of doubt.

Felicity smiled and looked at Henry like an elder laughing at the lack of knowledge and maturity of a child. "When I said I knew everything, I wasn’t bluffing. I know that you’re not the Henry i spoke with the day the agreement was accepted," she said

"Isn’t that right, Henry? Or should I call you, Scar," she added with a smirk.

Henry was now completely spooked, she had confirmed his suspicions. She even knew the name he gave himself.

"Who exactly is this woman? And why the fuck does she know so much about you?" he exclaimed in his mind.

"You’re right, I’m not the one who agreed to be your son... That Henry is gone for good, and me... I’m not interested in an adoption," Henry coldly stated

"Hm, you know i like you Henry, you didn’t even try to deny the fact. And even though I can sense a tiny bit of fear from you, you still speak to me confidently. Hmm, as expected from a god," Felicity replied and leaned back on the chair.

Henry wasn’t even surprising anymore, he sat there with his arms crossed. If she knew he had a system, of course she would know what type of system it was.

"I don’t even care that you know anymore, just tell me how exactly you found out all this. But I bet it has something to do with why you wanted to adopt me so bad," he said calmly

Felicity sighed. "I really wish I was dealing with the other... You. But you’re right, that’s why I want to adopt you, because of the power you received," she explained.

"I knew it, I’m just a tool to be exploited. You knew what i was from the very beginning, i mean why else would anyone want to adopt a weak, powerless kid with a serious case of amnesia?" Henry voiced out, clearly annoyed.

"Look it’s not like that, i agree that I’m not a good person. But I’m not evil either, and it’s okay that you don’t trust me... Yet," Felicity replied with a deeper sigh

Henry furrowed his eyebrow. "You think? Look i just want to know if I’m free to go, if you are truly not evil then you’ll let me leave," he said impatiently.

Felicity stared at Henry for a while before speaking. "Fine, you may leave willingly," she said. And almost immediately, Henry stood up and began walking towards the door.

"But I should warn you, it’s not safe for you out there. You know nothing of this world, the system, the things lurking in the shadows... the celestials," Felicity added in a calm voice.

Henry paused in his steps, he was intrigued by her last words. Miley had said something about there being other beings in the world, including Felicity herself. But that didn’t mean he was desperate for answers.

"Really?" he said in a sarcastic tone and turned back to face Felicity. "That changes nothing!" he muttered coldly and continued walking forward.

Felicity frowned. "This child, he would get himself killed. I have to do something or else father’s efforts would have been for nothing," she pondered inwardly before shifting her gaze towards Henry who was about to push the button to opening the door.

"You can’t leave!" she suddenly said and snapped her fingers. And immediately, the door, the dining room... everything, vanished, replacing the surrounding with a much colder and snowy environment.

Henry frowned and faced Felicity. "So much for not being evil, huh!" he voiced out, looking around his new surrounding which was filled with snow and more snow, snowy mountains and icy terrains.

"Where the fuck are we? And how the fuck are we here!" he yelled

"We’re at the north pole, and as for how... Let’s just forget about it. I had to tell you something important," Felicity said and snapped her fingers again. And this time a large igloo suddenly formed around and above them, preventing the falling snow and low temperature. The igloo wasn’t created or built, it was rather conjured, like suddenly appearing like it was always there.

"Exactly how many powers do you have?" Henry asked with a look of surprise. Even though he wanted to leave, he still liked and admired Felicity,,he just couldn’t trust her.

Felicity smiled and took a seat on one of the Ice sculpted chairs in the igloo. "Like i said before it’s best not to think about it, my abilities are complicated," she said, motioning for Henry to have a seat as well.

"Alright, I’ll listen to what you have to say," Henry muttered and sat. "But you know you could have just called me back at the dining, or maybe... i don’t know, not bring us to the north pole!" he exclaimed

Felicity chuckled. "That’s my bad, but I needed us to be secluded for this conversation and what better place than Santa’s territory," she said with a smile.

Henry stared at Felicity with a confused look. "Was that supposed to be some kind of mom joke? She sucks! But at least they have Christmas in this world, that’s something to be happy about," he said inwardly.

"You know i can hear you, right?" Felicity said and Henry just replied with a shrug. She shook her head and sighed. "Janine i don’t how you do it raising two teenagers,"

"So down to business, like I mentioned earlier, you’re not safe because of what you are... A celestial," Felicity began.
