Biohuman-Chapter 685 The Path Of Uncertainty
Deborah's eyes were shut as she lifted her head upwards. She swayed side to side as she breathed in the many scents that "seemed distracting" to most. Her mind began to unfold before her. She caught glimpses of a boy quickly growing into a young man.
"He will be quite the looker." Deborah told Chee and Vang. "Handsome. Might steal plenty of hearts under the correct circumstances." Chee looked at her husband, excited. Vang rolled his eyes as he tried to leave. Chee grabbed her husband's arm and pulled him back down.
The image of the young man quickly flashed to two similar looking young men. It confused Deborah but she knew not to dig into these things. The future was large. She simply let the energies of the world come to her. She focused on her clients and gave them what was most likely to happen with this energy.
"Two?" Deborah cocked her head.
"Two?" Chee asked.
"I see two boys now… They both look similar."
"We're gonna have twins?" Chee asked. The image continued. Two boys became one and then two and then one. There was an energy about the second one that the first one didn't have. The second one was brighter than the first. The images quickly changed. She saw an adolescent version of the child. He was moving somewhere unknown.
"He constantly moves." Deborah continued. "Walking, running. Your child will keep in shape. He seems to be filled with some sort of bad energy but yet good energy at the same time." She allowed the images to continue playing. "The most pivotal moment is when he's in high school… Until then, things seem fine. He'll need guidance until then… Then he'll…"
Deborah stopped. The crystal ball lit up and Vang shook his head. It was just theatrics, and the woman was just trying to rope his wife in so she would get a regular client.
"Come on. Let's go. I've heard enough." Vang stood up and grabbed his wife's hand, lifting her up.
"But—" Chee began as Vang hushed her.
"It's a waste of time. We both know this is just for show. You should just go ask a Shaman at this point." He pulled her away as Deborah's eyes opened up and the crystal ball shut off.
"The good luck won't last if he takes the path given to him." Deborah spoke. "As long as you allow your son to choose his path, he won't succumb to a fate worser than death." 𝘧𝗿ee𝚠𝙚𝙗𝑛o𝚟𝐞l.𝐜૦𝗺
"Could you stop talking?" Vang asked. "You're insane. All of this is just theatrics. It isn't real. You can't see the future. You're just trying to get into my wife's head."
"You will be the cause of it." Deborah pointed. She stood a couple feet in front of the couple. "Your career may blossom more, but all flowers will wither. If you force your son to take over and be what you are, everything will crumble before you know it."
"And I should believe a phony because…?" Vang released his wife's hand and stepped forward. "If you think I'm going to pay for you theatrical service then you're wrong. You're just wasting our time. You're a fake. None of this is real!"
"Oh, but it is Dr. Chang." Deborah smiled. Chee and Vang both froze.
"How do you—"
"You will be the cause for all of the suffering that's to come to your family and the world. Don't say yes to that wonderful thing you have in your head. Hide it away, never reveal it and stay a normal family. The world doesn't need to see a revolution. It just needs to keep going." Deborah warned him. Vang scoffed and rolled his eyes. ƒ𝐫𝒆𝐞w𝗲𝚋𝗻૦𝘷e𝙡.c𝑜𝙢
"Okay, crazy lady. Thanks for the free reading. We're out of here. Come on, Chee." Vang turned and scooped his wife's hand and started to pull her away. Chee broke out of her husband's hold and jogged over to stand in front of Deborah.
"What do you mean by that?" Chee asked.
"Chee, let's go." Vang groaned. Deborah's eyes pierced right through Chee's eyes. It grew colder for Chee at that moment, and she felt like she was going to throw up. It passed just as quickly as Deborah turned to walk towards the beaded doorway.
"Your son's good luck will end. He'll be plagued with a tough road if your husband keeps on the road he is on. Take this as a gift for the child. Congratulations." Deborah nodded and stepped through the beaded doorway, disappearing.

The Vorpal Blade knocked out Lee Seng's hand as Akio flew at him. Kuyarami swirled with Darkness as Akio swung the blade. Akio had remembered the conversation with Chee. She had come to him, asking him and his sister to promise her to keep Lee Seng off the path the Creator wanted him to be on if things were to go south. A strange bubbling feeling grew inside of Akio, shattering into a million pieces as Kuyarami's energy exploded across Lee Seng's chest.
Lee Seng went flying, slamming into the course's foundation, making it fall into pieces. Akio watched as the large metallic pieces fell onto Lee Seng. He lifted his left hand and Vorpal Blade came to him.
'This is for his own good.' Akio thought. 'If I break him here, he won't move. He'll be safe from the future. He needs to be far away from this path… From the Creator.' He tightened his grip as Dr. Hayes' voice came into his ear.
"Did you kill him?" Dr. Hayes asked. "Even with this technology, I can barely see what is going on! I thought you wouldn't use this ability!"
"The plan changed." Akio told her. He released Kuyarami and sheathed Vorpal Blade onto his side. "Don't worry about Lee Seng. He can't die that easily."
Lee Seng groaned as the metal course laid on top of him. He had taken a direct hit and his wounds had scattered across his body. He grunted in pain as his body slowly healed himself back to normal. He had plenty of energy, but his healing wouldn't be able to heal such a complex set of wounds.
'He never used that one on me, either…' Lee Seng thought. The metal shook as it blasted away from him. Akio watched debris come at him and slashed it with the Void Darkness surrounding him. He was literally a weapon, himself, now.
"This is just to test his capabilities with his new powers! I don't think you should continue! He'll die at this rate!" Dr. Hayes shouted.
"He'll be fine. He hasn't even shown his full capabilities yet. Just sit still and watch." Akio hung up on the doctor. She was probably cursing to herself right now. He didn't like this doctor. She gave off an odd feeling. Akio watched as Lee Seng stood up with his perfect Dark Sight. One of the many gifts his power had given him.
'I'll make sure he doesn't wander the path at all costs.' Akio thought. 'Even if it means I have to harm your beloved child, Chee-sama.' Akio's entire vanished, leaving behind traces of Void energy. Lee Seng played with his torn clothes as he fixed his eyes on where Akio was last.
'He probably disappeared. He'll attack soon.' Lee Seng thought. 'I'll get him this time!' Lee Seng's fist bundled as Akio appeared out of thin air. Akio swung Kuyarami from left to right as Lee Seng turned in an instant, catching the blade with his hands. A loud clap reverberated, shaking the entire blade and Akio as Lee Seng pushed downwards.
Gravity flew through the blade, connecting with Akio and sending him flying. Kuyarami disappeared into nothingness as Lee Seng turned and ran away.
'What's he doing? He isn't going for me?' Akio wondered. He vanished into thin air, quickly appearing and reaching for Lee Seng. Lee Seng's foot slammed onto the ground, a heavy pressure growing around Lee Seng in an instant.
"Argh!" Akio gasped. His body flew downwards as Lee Seng turned to past Akio.
'There!' Lee Seng jumped past Akio and ran straight for the flag at the edge of his sense. 'Why couldn't I sense this until now? Did Akio do something to it?'
'He's getting close to it! Dammit! Null Void!' The entire shadow landscape ripped to shreds, burning Lee Seng's eyes in an instant as the light took over. Lee Seng groaned as the shadows pulled into Akio, wrapping a dark purple hue over him. Lee Seng stumbled around, feeling the flag just a short distance away with his seismic sense. He pushed through the sudden light and ran for the flag.
Each step made him more anxious. The flag grew closer but Akio was standing and turning to face him. Lee Seng turned his head to look behind him, only to feel a gust of wind rush at him. A hand wrapped around his throat, tightening around it. Lee Seng's eyes fluttered open, gasping for air as a black and purple Akio held him.
"I really don't want to use these on you, but you give me no choice, kid." Akio told Lee Seng in a distorted voice. "I need to keep a promise and if that means harming you, I'll do it."
