Beastmen Love-Chapter 29: Winter

Winter is colder than Astri imagined. It was boring because she would rarely leave the cabin, but it was warm inside so she didn’t want to leave either.

Zin is a snake and more sensible for the winter, normally during winter he would hibernate or simply stay hidden, but with Astri he doesn’t want any of that.

One night, Zin asked Lee and Wayde to sleep somewhere else. Lee and Wayde would periodically do that to ask for privacy with their mate, but they also know that Zin never asked that and if he’s asking it’s because he feels it’s time.

Zin and Astri naturally got closer, they understand each other’s pains but Zin didn’t become good like her and she made him feel lighter about his own existence.

He can’t imagine his life without her and if he can’t be with her he prefers death. This is how much he loves her. She healed his heart with her kindness and love.

"Where are Wayde and Lee? It’s getting late." She asks while drawing.

"They won’t be coming back home tonight." Zin answers.

"Is something wrong or happening in the tribe?"

"No. I asked them to don’t come here tonight."

She got startled at first, even letting her colored pencil fall from her hand, because he never asked for that before and she knows that when they ask each other to not come back it’s because they want to be intimate with her.

Blushing, she looks at him.

He sits near her, not really knowing how to approach her.

"I’m sorry.. I asked Wayde how to be romantic, and he said I already am but I don’t know what to do. You don’t have to mate with me if you don’t want to." He says. He passes his fingers on her hair. "I just want to prove to you that I love you and I’m yours forever."

She blushes even more.

"You’re romantic. Between all of you, you’re the one who most tells me about your feelings. To others you have this cold and quiet side, but with me you’re kind and open with your feelings. It makes me feel special for you." She says.

"You are more than special. You’re my everything. I never imagined that I would have a mate, even more a mate who treats me well and kindly. Who holds my hand when we walk together. Who kisses me and smiles at me. Who doesn’t disgust me or is not afraid of me. I’m the most blessed snake." He says, with a pure smile.

His smile and words made her smile too. She knows Zin will not make the first move because he’s still afraid of losing her or making her mad, so asking the others to stay away was the most he could do.

She has to guide him and let him enjoy what it is also his.

She kisses his lips and hugs his neck, getting closer and he hugs her.

She deepens the kiss and he moans softly, she straddles on him and his member is already asking for her.

"Touch me.. I’m yours too." She says, looking at his eyes.

He doesn’t know if his heart will handle this much happiness, if it doesn’t he will make sure she has the greatest moment too.

Astri lets him taste her body, touch her, and make love to her.

And she’s impressed with how kind he is even in sex. Her face experiencing pleasure is something he never wants to forget. His skin inside of her, her smooth skin on his lips...

All of her is delicious, and he’s overwhelmed with happiness for giving pleasure to his spouse.

He cleans her with a hot cloth, then helps her dress again, but before it he takes a glance on her back, where she knows where his mark will be.

He finds the mark of a snake near her waist, on her right side.

He finds it strange, it’s far from the others above. Wayde’s and Lee’s marks are already from each other too, his mark shows that her mark is probably bigger.

It might take almost all of her back. He decides to not tell her his thoughts yet because he wants her to rest.

Next day morning, Wayde and Lee are back to have breakfast together.

"Congratulations, Zin. In finally turning an official mate. Now, swear to us you will kill any male who tries to court her with us." Lee speaks. Astri rolls her eyes.

"I really don’t want more males around.." Zin says.

"Me neither." Wayde speaks.

"Then males are forbidden to come close!" Lee says with pride.

"Even the cubs?" Astri asks.

"Cubs are cubs. When becoming of age they’re out of here!" Lee states. Astri chuckles.

"You three are impossible."

"Oh yes. I wanted to show you something. My mark on your back." Zin tells her.

"Where is it?" She asks. He points to her waist, making Wayde and Lee confused.

"That low?" Wayde asks.

She pulls up her shirt, staying only with a tube top. They checked her spousal marks and they started to imagine the same as Zin.

"Your beast mark looks big. Or else Zin’s mark wouldn’t be that low. Spousal marks are always near the beast mark, going a bit far only when it’s already filled with other marks, but you only have us as mates." Lee tells.

"It looks like it will be the size of your back.." Wayde says.

"And what is wrong with that?" She asks.

"I never saw any beast mark as big." Lee says.

"Me too." Wayde affirms.

Astri looks at Zin and he also shows that he never saw a big beast mark.

"What makes a beast mark bigger are the marks of leveling or spousal marks. Yours already looks big. It could be that you already have marks or your beast mark that is very big." Wayde continues.

"I see... Well, we won’t ever know until I shift. Conjecturing will be only a waste of time." She speaks.

She thinks about asking Claud about it, but she knows that’s basically the only thing he doesn’t really talk about. He won’t tell her about her beast form and his too.

"It’s true. And no matter what we will be always with you." Zin says.

Lee and Wayde nod in agreement.

"Thank you, guys... You make this matter much lighter. You’re my world and the family I never had."

They hug her like a big ball making her laugh.

Two months of winter passed really slowly, but when the snow started getting weaker, Lee and Wayde decided to start building their castle.

They fear monsters and ferals to hear about her and try to steal her, and when they find out her abilities they will slave her.

Claud still talks to Astri every morning, and every day he wants the morning to arrive. He knows he loves her already, and he didn’t expect that would happen, ever.

He fears about the future and he doesn’t have an idea of what might happen when the time comes.

He wants to protect Astri from everything and let her live happily, he hopes he can gives her that.

The snow melted and finally Astri’s garden is getting colorful again.
