Beastmen Love-Chapter 136: For What, not Why

"Nice to meet you, Hopin. My name is Astri." She says.

He is impressed when he hears her name. He steps back after looking quickly at Claud and Zin on her sides.

"What is it, dear?" She asks calmly, trying to not scare him.

"I heard that.. You’re the most desired female of these tribes, and you have the strongest males and guards." He stutters.

"Oh really? Well, I don’t actually care about this title. Do you want to become a doctor too?" She asks.

"I.. don’t know. I want to help so I can sleep and eat here."

"I see.. Come here."

He walks to her, kind of hypnotized by her smile. She teaches him how to sew and he learns fast to help her.

"How old are you, Hopin?" She asks.

"8, my lady." He answers.

"Don’t need to call me that way, sweetie. You’re so young and so smart! You learn so fast."

He smiles shyly. Zin and Claud smile, feeling the energy of the boy brightening again.

"Is there something you wanted to do before coming to live here?" She asks Hopin.

"I don’t know.. I liked making holes and tunnels." He answers, sewing the piece she gave him.

"That is nice. What kind of tunnels?"

He tells her a story of when he would make tunnels just to make his father and brothers confused. Astri chuckles, but the boy’s energy gets sad again remembering his family. She brushes his hair and he’s shocked with her kindness.

"It’s all right, dear. I know it hurts losing someone you loved." She says.

He holds his tears inside, trying to be strong, and that impressed them.

He’s very strong for a boy and a rabbit. Normally a prey kind of beast is always more sensitive and shows weakness easily. He’s not like that, probably because he’s surrounded mostly by predators and bigger kinds of beastmen.

During the night, Astri takes the blanket she sewed with Hopin and covers the sick female. Her males were very grateful because it was a very warm blanket made of fine skins.

Astri lays on the nest Zin made with his tail, she looks at Hopin to call him to come closer and tells him stories to make him sleep.

When he fell asleep, Claud slowly covered him.

At dawn, the female woke up and was confused about everything that happened. Her males explained what happened and that Astri saved her, and also gave her the fine blanket on her.

The female was very grateful for Astri leaving her home all night to take care of her, and she was actually ashamed because before she didn’t like Astri at all.

Astri didn’t care about how people think about her, so she didn’t mind the way the female used to see her. She explains what the females need to change and do to live a healthier life.

When the female was feeling stronger, Astri and the others decided to go back home. Astri spots Hopin at the corner, watching Astri silently. She smiles at him and calls him with her head.

"Do you want to come with us?"

Her question shocked him to the extent that he widened his mouth open.

"Yes! I do!" He happily answers.

"Come then!"

They walk together to the castle, Hopin is amazed by the castle and the guards.

Most of Astri’s spouses were in the kitchen preparing breakfast when they arrived. Astri presents Hopin to everyone and when Galion comes, she calls him.

"Galion. Please, take care of Hopin. I want you to train him." She says.

Everyone was confused at her request.

"Train him?" Galion asks.

"Yes. I trust you will guide him to the right path. He’s an amazing, strong, smart, and courageous boy. I’m sure he will become a great guard."

"But.. He’s a rabbit. It will be hard."

"And?" Astri questions, raising her eyebrow to him.

"He’s small.." Galion tries to say.

"And I’m a female, smaller than you, weaker than you, and that can beat up your asses without having to resort to something else." She answers.

The others can’t question that. She’s right.

"I’m sorry, my lady. I shouldn’t question you this way." Galion says.

"You can question, Galion. However, I don’t like when any of you judge someone by his kind or size. A small rock can be the difference of a sturdy wall or a weak wall. Different perspectives and skills are always welcome."

He nods, smiling softly. Astri taps Hopin’s head and calls him to the common bathroom, tell him to bathe and dress new clothes she brought him.

When he’s back to have breakfast, he’s impressed that the breakfast has many different kinds of food. He eats the bread and fruits happily, and he’s more impressed when Yuki, Elias and Kai come to play with him.

Hopin wasn’t expecting to find such a loving family to rescue him. He needs to be strong the way Astri believes he can be so they never regret having him there, even though deep inside he’s scared of not being capable of handling these expectations.

After breakfast Astri yawns, feeling tired of the bad night of sleep.

"Go sleep, love. You look tired." Lee says.

"Yeah.. I’ll do that." She answers.

"Want me to take you to bed?"

His mischievous smile was enough for her to know his true motives.

"Like you would let me sleep." She chuckles walking away.

She lays down on the bed and then hears the door opening, she looks back and then sees Kangki.

"Are you all right?" She asks.

"No." He answers.

He goes to her and hugs her on his chest, he relaxes and they lay down on the bed.

"Now I’m fine."

She chuckles. Kangki is actually needy of warmth and comfort, and no one would imagine he would be this, even more knowing that he’s half dragon and half lion. He would never admit it, but she knows he carries things inside of him that slowly he’s letting go.

She falls asleep and he watches her, wondering that maybe things should have happened the way they did. If she were raised as any other, things wouldn’t have changed. Astri has different perspectives from her descendants probably because she grew up somewhere else more advanced and that allowed her to change.

He’s sure that Nature knew about that and probably had a finger on everything.

Astri woke up after around an hour, and she noticed that Kangki hadn’t slept with her and he was watching her all the time.

"Did you sleep well?" He asks.

"Of course. Why wouldn’t I?"

He smiles and passes his fingers on her face.

"Before I would need to make a sleeping scent for you to sleep next to me. Now I don’t need it anymore."

"I knew you used something on me!" She chuckles, poking his side.

"I’m having different feelings every day with you. But there’s one that I don’t know how to deal with anymore." He admits to her.

He gets closer to her and then kisses her. Normally their kisses never went further because he was getting used to his new body, but now he’s eager to have her more than anything.

His deep kiss made her body grow in need too, so kissing him back was her answer and allowance to let him keep on. He creates a black fog and sends it to lock the door because now it’s his moment with Astri and he doesn’t want anyone to come bother.

Slowly he removes her clothes, enjoying her warm skin and his heart beating for her and she lets him find his way.

Before, he didn’t want to look at the females. It was for merely reproduction. Now, his desire for her grows bigger when he sees her body reacting to him and desiring him too.

He never imagined he would feel love. He never imagined he would give his own life for a female, now he only cares about her and at the same time it is good it still shocks him.

Watching her reactions as he passes his hands on her body, and tastes her skin where he feels he wants to taste, desire growls inside of him to the limit. When he links his body to hers he feels his world buzzing and connecting his life to her entirely. It is something so beautiful and unique that he felt thrilled.

"What is it? Does it hurt? Do you want to stop?" She asks him after seeing his body trembling, and his teared eyes.

He denies it with his head and only hugs her, hiding his face in the crook of her neck.

"I don’t deserve this... this happiness.. your love. My love for you... I don’t deserve this."

She smiles, passing her hands on his back and hugging him. Then she rolls him to lie down on the bed and she rides him.

"Don’t ask why, love. Ask for what purpose we are together. I believe that is to teach that love saves people." She tells, and kisses his lips, making him moan when she starts to move on him elevating his desire until he wants to take over and make love to her.
