"Xu Chi, I’m about to start the feast. You have to be a good boy and not move! Let’s start with the cold appetizers... we’ll need eight to ten dishes. Now, where should I put them..."

Si Shuo slept until noon. Without even getting out of bed, she lazily checked the rewards for Main Quest Four: a suit of Golden Silk Armor that molded to her skin and was powered by Crystal Stones; a manual on raising silkworms and producing silk; four Upgrade Pills; a set of optimized and comprehensive fruit and vegetable seeds; and an old-fashioned, all-in-one wooden cotton gin for cleaning and carding.

Seeing all this, Si Shuo fell silent. ’I feel a bit like Zhaojun,’ she thought, ’married off by the system to the Beast World Continent for the sake of sowing the seeds of human civilization.’

’Just look at what the system had been rewarding her with: fishing, beekeeping, sericulture, a cotton gin, and seeds!’
