He rarely smiled, so when someone like him did, both his expression and the sound of his laughter were incredibly infectious.

Gong You laughed, hoisted her onto his shoulder, and ran towards the sea. He was very fast, even in his human form; his speed was comparable to Zhi Le’s in his leopard form.

But he was also considerate, enveloping Si Shuo in a Protective Shield so she wouldn’t feel any discomfort.

"Gong You, I haven’t asked yet, what kind of Fish Beast are you? Everyone says you’re a Big Fish Beast, but they never say what type.

Also, what’s your superpower? Why can you run so fast?"

"Yes. No matter how fast my opponent is, when I use the Time Law, their movements look as slow as a sea turtle’s to me," he said, a corner of his lip curling up. "This is a secret I’ve only told you. Everyone else thinks I’m incredibly strong, but that’s not really the case. At best, I’m just being opportunistic, looking for an opponent’s weakness while dodging their attacks.

I’m not as powerful as everyone imagines. In fact, my Water Ability barely allows me to live away from the sea like a normal Beastman.
