Attribute Farming System-Chapter 51 - 1st Trial Rankings
After Tiger King's Nascent Soul disappeared beyond the reach of his Divine Sense, Knox emotionlessly rose to his feet. He dusted off his black and gold robes before shifting his gaze to the multitude of powerful auras that emerged in the aftermath of the Tiger King's unrestrained battle.

"More farm animals?" he wondered, the edges of his lips curving upward. "They'll make for the perfect appetizer before that Emperor Yin Tiger pays me a visit."
Three months had passed since he was forcibly transported into the Devilstar Secret Realm. During this time, he had explored the vast region known as the Beast-kin's Domain. Spanning tens of millions of miles, this land was teeming with Monsters, Beast-kin, Demon Beasts, and even other Competitors.
Knox had, of course, slaughtered every single one he encountered. Attribute Orbs didn't drop from trees, after all; they dropped from corpses.
To be fair, he hadn't originally intended to kill anything that breathed. However, since everything he encountered had the intention of stopping him from breathing, he had done the only reasonable thing—put his Family's self-defense lessons to use.
"Chop, chop, chop," Knox muttered, karate-chopping the air. "Self-defense stands for chop, chop, chop, doesn't it? Hum… English never was my strong suit."
Fast forward three months, and he had made every bug, donkey, and turtle his enemy. Millions had died by his hands.
But oh well, their bloody carcasses fertilized the soil. 'Twas the glory of the Cycle of Life.
'In a way, I was merely performing my good Samaritan duties. Yep, yep.'
"Stop, human!" a birdman suddenly shouted as he chased him through the sky. Behind the avian warrior, an army of hundreds of birdpeople followed, their crazed screams filling the air.
"Harpies?" Knox mused, nonchalantly turning to face them while flying backward. "Let's see. A couple in the Nascent Soul Realm, a few dozen in the Golden Core Realm, and the rest in the Foundation Establishment Realm. Not a bad lineup. But…"
SHING!
"You're still too weak," he remarked, turning back around while sheathing his Intent Sword.
Hundreds of birdpeople's heads slung off the bodies they were once connected to. Blood and entrails dyed the skies red, and thousands of Attribute Orbs shot toward him. He graciously absorbed them before calmly continuing on his way.
He had briefly considered looting the Harpies, but past experience had taught him that doing so was a waste of time. The inhabitants of this world lacked access to space stone mines and, consequently, could not create spatial rings or any efficient means of carrying valuables.
More often than not, these so-called "farm animals" stashed their treasures away in hidden locations, and quite frankly, he found it too much of a hassle to sniff out all their hoards.
In the end, only Attribute Orbs remained a consistent form of loot.
"Anyhoo," Knox said, zipping toward a massive, floating island-like structure. "There are a couple of Half-step Soul Formation Realm loot bags in this place, which likely means some good stuff is being stored here. But even if there isn't, I'll still be getting Attribute Orbs and Trial Points, so I have nothing to lose in saying hello."
The First Trial of the Devilstar Secret Realm was the simplest and most straightforward of the three trials. Its primary and sole goal was to kill—be it Monsters, Beast-kin, Demon Beasts, or even other Competitors.
Every living being in the Secret Realm was worth a certain amount of Trial Points, and upon their death, all their points would transfer to their killer.
"From what could be gathered by that colossal floating eye that seems to be looking everywhere at once," Knox muttered, glancing at the huge, demonically slitted eye in the sky, "the more Trial Points you have by the end of the six-month trial period, the better your reward will be. And you know me, a man who loves his loot. I really had no choice but to begin wantonly slaughtering everything! The big eye forced me to!"
The Six-winged Seraphim's Eye: "...."
When the eye first appeared, it had briefly explained the rules of the first trial before proceeding to track the movements of every Competitor within the 'World of Pandora.'
A large, neon-colored number hung above the Six-winged Seraphim's Eye, displaying the exact number of surviving Trial Participants.
At this moment, that number ticked down from '132' to '131.'
"Hundreds of Young Masters and Young Misses have already kicked the bucket," Knox noted in a disappointed, fatherly tone. "It's such a shame that not everyone can be as great a Young Master as I am. Tsk, tsk. Getting outdone by a former cripple—they should feel ashamed!"
Hundreds of grieving souls were undoubtedly rolling in their graves right now…
'Right, where was I?' Knox mused, speaking to himself as he often did. 'Ahh, yes, those Trial Points. I have no idea how many I have, for the number is hidden at first glance. However, shortly after the Six-winged Seraphim's Eye appeared, it spawned a list to its left. It then asked me and every other Trial Participant to create a nickname that would record our progress on the rankings board.'
And what had he chosen as his nickname, one might ask?
[#1: CallMeDaddy] - [104 Million Points]
[#2: BladeMaster] - [18.9 Million Points]
[#3: DimensionalAdvocate] - [11.6 Million Points]
[#4: PhoenixSaintess] - [5.85 Million Points]
[#5: TwinSlayer] - [4.9 Million Points]
[#6: TwinKiller] - [4.8 Million Points]
[#7...]
Out of all the names displayed, which one best suited the one and only? Well… Heh…
"Where do you think you are, human!?" a commanding voice suddenly rang out.
Knox's thoughts were interrupted as he looked up, pulling his Intent Sword out of the lifeless corpse of a Nascent Soul Realm Harpy. Before him stood a domineering Harpy Lady, her beauty accentuated by the pearl-crested trident she wielded.
Tilting his head, Knox studied her curiously.
"I don't really know, Miss," he said. "One second, I was window-shopping for XXXL condoms, and the next second, I'm here! But wait, why are you here!? Who are you, Lady!??"
