Arriving in the Naruto world by filling out a form-Chapter 333: And He Still Has Points To Allocate.
The moment SENJUTSU (EX) appeared in front of him, Ren’s breath hitched but then he forced himself to inhale slowly and exhale just as evenly.
Control first, excitement later. He had learned that lesson early on since he got the system..
However, before he could even fully process the implications of the talent, the system screen flickered again.
[!!!]
[THE SENJUTSU TALENT HAS BEEN LOCKED. IT WILL BE LIMITED TO MINOR TALENT.]
(Note: The user may use the remaining talent spin to upgrade the higher limit of the talent from Ex-grade to (U) Ultimate. That way the Lock will loosen and the limit will increase to Major Talent.)
Ren’s brows slowly furrowed.
"...What?"
He reread it once, then again.
’Locked? Limited to Minor?’
His fingers tapped lightly against his knee as he thought.
Every other original talent he had unlocked before, Fuinjutsu, Space Affinity, high-tier analytical talents, none of them had been forcefully sealed like this. Even the extreme ones had simply integrated into him naturally, albeit with gradual unlocking.
But this...
This one had triggered an immediate restriction.
Which meant one thing, it wasn’t about strength, it was about authority.
He leaned back slightly and asked internally, ’System. Why is the Senjutsu talent locked?’
The response came instantly.
[SENJUTSU ALLOWS THE USER TO UTILIZE THE POWER OF NATURE.]
Ren went silent. It was just one sentence, but it was enough.
The locks placed on him at birth, or at awakening weren’t random. They were safeguards. Restrictions imposed by the "world" itself to prevent excessive divergence.
Senjutsu wasn’t just another technique. It wasn’t chakra manipulation, it was borrowing the world’s own energy.
Natural energy.
The ambient force that flowed through everything.
If he gained unrestricted access to that too early, he wouldn’t just be strong. He would be operating partially outside the intended system of the world.
And the world didn’t like that so of course it would specifically lock the talent that let him siphon its power.
Ren slowly exhaled.
’...Makes sense.’
If you were the world, you wouldn’t give the anomaly access to your battery pack either.
His gaze dropped to the note again, the system offered an option.
Upgrade the upper limit from EX to Ultimate and loosen the lock to increase the accessible level to Major.
That was interesting.
It wasn’t offering full unlock, just raising the ceiling so that the lock loosened proportionally.
He tilted his head slightly.
’System,’ he asked again, ’Is Ultimate the highest level of talent?’
The reply came clean and simple.
[YES.]
(Note: For instance, Jiraiya possessed Major-level Senjutsu talent. Naruto Uzumaki possessed Extreme-level talent. Hashirama Senju possessed Ultimate-level talent.)
Ren’s eyes narrowed slightly.
There it was, the scale.
Jiraiya - Major.
Naruto - Extreme.
Hashirama - Ultimate.
He suppressed the surge of excitement threatening to break through his composure.
If he upgraded this to Ultimate-tier potential...
That meant the ceiling was Hashirama-level.
The Sage Body.
The kind of natural energy assimilation that didn’t just enhance chakra, it harmonized with it.
Hashirama’s cells, his regeneration, his ridiculous stamina, his natural affinity with wood release and life force. That wasn’t just genetics, that was senjutsu compatibility at the highest possible tier.
Ren slowly clenched and unclenched his hand.
Even if the current usable level would only rise to Major for now, the potential would be there and potential was everything.
The locks would loosen as his divergence percentage rose. Meaning this wasn’t a gamble, it was an investment so he considered the cost.
One talent spin.
Normally, talent spins were rare, valuable and unpredictable. But compare that to Ultimate-tier Senjutsu potential?
There was no comparison.
He didn’t even hesitate for long.
’System,’ he stated calmly, ’Use one talent spin to upgrade Senjutsu talent from EX to Ultimate.’
The wheel shimmered faintly as if acknowledging the sacrifice.
Then the notification appeared.
[TALENT UPGRADED: SENJUTSU (U)]
[LOCK ADJUSTED. CURRENT ACCESS LEVEL: MAJOR TALENT.]
Ren felt it immediately.
There was no surge of power, not an explosion. But there was a subtle shift, like a window opening somewhere far away.
His perception extended just a fraction beyond his skin.
The air in the room felt... textured.
Alive.
He couldn’t yet draw natural energy yet, the lock still restricted full utilization and he didn’t know hot to use it yet either, but he could sense it more clearly now.
The background hum of existence.
The stillness beneath motion.
The quiet pulse of life in the compound around him.
Trees, soil, the faint wind.
His chakra responded instinctively, not greedily, but curiously.
He inhaled slowly and let it settle, major-level access. That alone was already on par with Jiraiya’s natural compatibility and the ceiling was Ultimate.
Meaning once the locks loosened further, once his Pillar of Divergence percentage climbed higher, he could approach Hashirama’s level of natural energy harmony.
A small, controlled smile formed on his face.
He hadn’t even claimed the Fire and Yin affinity boosts yet.
He still had S-rank points, Kage-level points, Mastery points and now... Ultimate Senjutsu potential.
He lay back on the bed again, staring at the ceiling.
The night felt different now, it was not tense anymore, it was slowly getting calmer and relaxed.
~
After stabilizing his breathing and letting the weight of Ultimate-tier Senjutsu potential settle into his bones, Ren finally shifted his attention to the next reward notification.
The panel flickered open.
[CANON SHIFT DETECTED: REVELATION OF ZETSU AHEAD OF TIME TO ITACHI UCHIHA AND FORCING ZETSU TO CHANGE ITS PLANS]
[REWARD: Chance to unlock Yin-Yang Release once both Yin and Yang masteries reach Grandmaster level.]
Ren went completely still, this time there was no grin, no immediate reaction, just silence.
Then he slowly sat upright.
"...Oh."
It didn’t look flashy, it didn’t come with points, no talent spin, no stat boost, no immediate power surge.
Just a condition.
A chance.
But he understood immediately.
This reward... this wasn’t small.
This might be the biggest one yet.
Yin-Yang Release.
It was the foundation, the origin principle. Everything in the shinobi world ultimately traced back to that duality.
Yin shaping imagination into form.
Yang breathing life into it.
Creation and vitality.
Concept and substance.
He leaned back slowly against the wall, mind already racing through history.
Kaguya created Black Zetsu using Yin-Yang.
Hagoromo created the Tailed Beasts from the Ten-Tails’ chakra using Yin-Yang.
Truth-Seeking Balls, the orbs that could erase ninjutsu, negate elemental transformations, and even disintegrate matter were manifestations of Yin-Yang manipulation.
Ten-Tails Jinchūriki Madara, Ten-Tails Jinchūriki Obito and Six Paths Naruto. All of them wielded it.
And what had Six Paths Naruto done with it?
Healed Guy after the Eighth Gate, damage that was supposed to be irreversible.
Regrew Kakashi’s eye.
Restored life force in ways that defied conventional medical ninjutsu.
That wasn’t just healing, that was rewriting biological reality.
Ren exhaled slowly.
’Yeah... this isn’t small.’
This wasn’t some minor elemental hybrid, this wasn’t Lava Release or Storm Release, this was the blueprint layer,tThe framework that everything else sat on.
And the condition?
Both Yin and Yang masteries at Grandmaster level.
He didn’t even mind that, that was completely fair.
If anything, it was generous.
Yin-Yang Release wasn’t something you casually unlocked at mid-tier. It required absolute control over conceptual chakra (Yin) and life force amplification (Yang).
And he already had advantages.
His Yang reserves were ridiculous due to his Senju lineage and minor regeneration. His Yin potential was climbing steadily, especially after boosting perception and analytical capacity.
And with Yin affinity boost from the Itachi-related reward still unclaimed... He was closer than most people in history had ever been.
Ren stared at the panel for a while longer.
Revealing Zetsu early, forcing it to shift its plans. Disrupting the long-term shadow manipulator of the world, that single act had ripple effects that hadn’t even fully manifested yet.
Zetsu had been operating for centuries and Ren had forced it to adjust.
The system recognized that as a divergence of massive magnitude because Zetsu wasn’t just a character.
It was the thread that pulled Madara.
The hand that manipulated wars.
The architect behind the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
By exposing it early to Itachi, Ren had cut into the future itself so it was no wonder the reward was this heavy.
He closed his eyes briefly.
Once he reached Grandmaster in both Yin and Yang... He wouldn’t just be strong, he would operate on a conceptual tier, he would have access to the same creative force that shaped Tailed Beasts, the same principle behind Truth-Seeking Orbs.
The same category of power that separated Kage-tier from Six Paths-tier.
A slow grin formed again.
"Worth it," he murmured.
If anything, he was relieved it wasn’t handed to him immediately.
Some powers needed to be earned properly. Yin-Yang wasn’t something you casually swing around at twelve.
He opened his status overview and mentally noted his current Yin and Yang mastery levels. They weren’t Grandmaster yet, but they weren’t far either.
With eighteen Master-level mastery points waiting to be allocated and affinity boosts pending.
The path was visible, it will be challenging, but real.
After sitting with the weight of the Yin–Yang condition for a while, Ren finally moved on to the last unopened reward of the night.
The panel blinked softly.
[CANON SHIFT DETECTED: BEING NAMED AS THE HOKAGE SUCCESSOR]
[REWARD: Observe Upgraded]
Ren smiled faintly.
Compared to Senjutsu and Yin–Yang Release, this looked almost... normal.
There were no cosmic locks, no world backlash, no existential warnings.
Just a clean, functional upgrade.
And honestly?
He liked those the most.
His Observe ability had quietly been one of the most useful tools he possessed since the beginning. It wasn’t flashy. It didn’t explode mountains. But it kept him alive, informed, and three steps ahead.
He mentally reviewed its current features.
First, level detection.
He could see the levels of anyone up to twenty levels above him. With his current level hovering around eighty, that effectively meant he could read the level of almost anyone in the shinobi world. Not even the absolute top anomalies would be out of range.
Second, contact tracing.
He could see the last four people any individual had met, and even the second layer, the last four people those individuals had met. That feature alone had dismantled several of Danzo’s schemes. Information webs were everything in politics, and this ability let him see threads without needing spies.
Third, surface thought observation.
Not full mind reading, but emotional currents. Strong intent, hostility, admiration, fear or betrayal. If someone’s feelings toward him spiked high enough, he would know. It wasn’t precise dialogue, but it was more than enough to sense shifts in loyalty or danger.
Those three combined with canon knowledge had made him nearly impossible to blindside.
And now, the new line appeared clearly.
[Observe Upgrade: Allows the user to Observe the Talents of individuals.]
Ren’s smile widened slowly.
’Oh, that’s useful.’
It was not dramatic or apocalyptic, but it would be extremely practical. He leaned back against the wall, thinking it through carefully.
He was about to begin a three-year leadership course under Hiruzen, politics, administration, intelligence networks, internal structure and personnel management.
Strength alone didn’t build a village, talent distribution did.
In the past, Konoha might have had missed opportunities.
Geniuses who never received proper guidance, bloodline users who stagnated, children with niche gifts that no one recognized early enough.
Now?
He would see them.
Minor, Major, Extreme and Ultimate.
He doubted he would randomly discover an Ultimate-tier genius hiding in a classroom, those were rare to the point of myth but even Major-tier talents in Fuinjutsu, Barrier Ninjutsu, Intelligence Analysis, Medical Chakra Control, or Space-Time perception could be nurtured into pillars of the village.
How many clans had quietly produced capable shinobi who simply never received the right push?
How many civilian-born children had potential but lacked sponsorship?
Ren’s gaze sharpened slightly.
With this upgrade, talent scouting would no longer rely on guesswork.
He would know.
And that meant he could start building long-term infrastructure early.
An Eight Gates squad under Guy.
A Fuinjutsu development team.
A next-generation sensory corps.
Strategic analysts.
Medical division refinement.
Even future ANBU command restructuring.
He wouldn’t just be strong, he would build strength.
He exhaled slowly.
This reward matched the timing perfectly. Being named successor wasn’t about personal combat power. It was about vision.
And Observe upgrading right now?
That was the system nudging him toward governance.
He also noted something else.
This ability, combined with his Foresight (EX) talent, would be dangerous in politics. He could simulate outcomes, read surface emotions, trace networks and now categorize potential.
He almost felt bad for anyone trying to play long games around him.
Almost.
He dismissed the panel and the night was quiet again.
All rewards had been opened and everything was laid out.
Ultimate Senjutsu potential.
Yin–Yang conditional unlock.
Presence stat.
Pillar of Divergence.
Observe upgraded.
S-Rank points, Kage-level points, Master-level mastery points, affinity boosts waiting.
He slowly cracked his neck.
"Alright," he muttered to himself, "Now the real work starts."
Rewards were one thing and allocation was another.
If he dumped points carelessly, he would waste synergy. If he distributed mastery poorly, he would slow long-term growth.
He needed to plan this properly.
~~~~~
{Finally the rewards are done, I know a few of the rewards like Kakashi’s eye and Obito’s arm are pending however I have something else planned for them, so I hope you could give me some time for that.}
{Also, by now, I’m sure most of you must’ve understood what I am trying to do, however as I said earlier, it still isn’t fixed, I need to keep many things in consideration, however if I could get it done, hehehehehe}
{Alright, next Chapter, there will be a full stat sheet, I’ll even make small descriptions so that everything is clear, then take that sheet and post it in the Aux Chapters as many of you have been requesting.}
