Ah! The Villains I Forced to Turn Evil Can Read My Mind-Chapter 314
Qiao Chuchu was gently placed on the bed by Pei Che.
Pei Che sat by the bedside, calmly gazing at her.
She recoiled, shifting away from him.
His eyes followed her unhurriedly, settling on her face.
Compared to Lin Qing and Pei Fengnong’s flustered apologies, Pei Che’s composure left her at a loss.
His deep, emotionless eyes bore into her: "You must really hate me now."
Qiao Chuchu’s hostility was palpable: "What do you think?"
"But I can’t bear not seeing you," Pei Che met her gaze squarely. "I’d rather you hate me than have you avoid me, refuse to see me, or resent me."
She scoffed: "If you care so much, why didn’t you just tell me from the start?"
Pei Che: "Because I didn’t want to."
Qiao Chuchu: "?"
Pei Che leaned closer: "Every time I heard your inner thoughts, I felt like the distance between us shrank. I became addicted to it—so I never planned to tell you. I thought revealing it would ruin what we had."
Qiao Chuchu was baffled: "You really don’t see yourself as normal, do you? How can you say something like that so casually?"
Pei Che remained unfazed: "I can hear your thoughts—that’s unfair. So I’ll lay mine bare too. That way, we’re even."
She leaned in, incredulous: "So you’ve told me everything? No more secrets?"
Pei Che paused, watching her face draw near.
His gaze dropped, lingering meaningfully on her lips.
"There’s still one secret left." freewebnoveℓ.com
His Adam’s apple bobbed, his voice roughening: "But it won’t hurt you. You don’t need to worry."
Qiao Chuchu rolled her eyes: "...I don’t care about your secret. I just want to leave."
The heat in Pei Che’s eyes cooled: "Pei Fengnong must’ve made it clear earlier. If you forgive us, you can go."
Qiao Chuchu threw up her hands: "Fine, I forgive you! I won’t be angry anymore. Happy now?!"
Pei Che studied her.
She stared back, dead serious.
Pei Che: "Do you really think I’d believe that?"
Qiao Chuchu: "? Then if you won’t let me go, aren’t you afraid I’ll get even angrier? That things between us will never be the same?"
Pei Che took her hand, coaxing gently: "We have all the time in the world. You’ll see how good I can be to you—no more hiding."
She shuddered, yanking her hand free: "Locking me up is your idea of being good?!"
Pei Che tightened his grip: "Anything but your freedom. Ask for anything else, and I’ll obey."
She laughed bitterly: "What if I told you to strip and run naked through the yard?"
Pei Che stood from the bed: "Done."
Qiao Chuchu: "?"
Expressionless, he held her gaze: "If it pleases you, I’ll do it."
His fingers began unbuttoning his shirt, swiftly shrugging it off!
His sculpted, pale torso was unveiled with startling impact!
As his hands moved to unbuckle his belt—
Qiao Chuchu leapt up, smothering him with the blanket: "Are you insane?!"
Pei Che’s pants slid out from under the covers as his muffled voice came through: "Keeping you here is real. Obeying you is real too."
"Anything to ease your anger—I’ll do it."
His head emerged from the blanket, tilting up at her from the bed. His eyes held an almost dogged sincerity: "Punish me however you like."
Speechless, she yanked the blanket tighter around him: "Just put your clothes back on!"
She jumped off the bed, pacing furiously by the window.
[I need to figure out how to deal with these lunatics.]
A shadow flickered past outside.
Qiao Chuchu: "?"
[Someone’s out there?]
