Chapter 95: Chapter 94: Redecorating Their House in the Ninth Army Base

After going home Ryzel immediately sat relaxedly on the sofa.

"I wanted to sleep already," Ryzel said tiredly.

"I will cook our dinner first. You need to eat before going to sleep," Layton Lewis said and looked got the bag of groceries they bought this morning.

All the things they bought this morning were all placed in the living room by the home robot who received all the deliveries.

Ryzel doesn’t have any energy to check and arrange what they bought so he just leaves them there first. He planned to sort them all tomorrow.

Ryzel closed his eyes and started to rest while waiting for dinner.

"Ryzel, it’s time to eat," Layton Lewis called.

"Okay, coming," Ryzel replied and opened his eyes going to the dining room.

"Layton the food you cook is really more delicious than the food outside!" Ryzel praised once again.

He just ate outside for lunch, so he still remembered the taste. The taste is considered okay but it was incomparable to the taste of Layton Lewis’s cooking.

"Don’t worry I will be cooking for you every day as long as we don’t have any emergency missions or battles," Layton Lewis said.

"Really, is the offer including lunch?" Ryzel asked.

They would surely be staying at the military headquarters after this day because of work.

So, he was asking if Layton Lewis would be cooking for lunch as well.

It’s not that he can’t eat other meals it just that he was already accustomed to how delicious Layton’s cooking is.

"Yes, of course. I’ll be packing our lunch every day," Layton Lewis said with a smile.

"Wow, how nice!"

Just thinking that he could eat such delicious things for every meal made Ryzel smile.

The next day, Layton Lewis went to do his duties and Ryzel was left at home. He didn’t even wake up when Layton Lewis left because he was so tired yesterday.

Of course, his bodyguards also came before Layton Lewis went to the military headquarters.

"Hello, we already met yesterday, my name is Lana, and this is Grey he isn’t that talkative. We will be responsible for closely protecting you for today," Lana introduced themselves to Ryzel.

"Nice to meet you. Have you eaten?"

After eating he decided to arrange all the things they bought yesterday.

Ryzel went to the living room and began looking at all the things that they bought.

Looking at the large pile of shopping bags and boxes in the living room he realized that they really bought a lot of things yesterday.

"Ryzel are you going to arrange all of these things? What can we help you with it?" Lana asked.

"Thank you in advance, please help me in redecorating the house," Ryzel answered.

"Then, should we open them first. Can we open it?" Lana said while walking to the pile of shopping bags.

"Yes, of course. That would also make it easier for me."

However, when Ryzel saw Lana reaching for one of the shopping bags to check its content he rashly said, "please wait! I need to take some of those things with me first!"

Ryzel rushed to get the shopping bag that Lana was holding. Fortunately, Lana still hasn’t opened the shopping bag.

He forgot that the clothes that Layton Lewis bought for him were also mixed in the pile.

As soon as he saw the shopping bag, he knew that it contained all the clothes that Layton Lewis bought for him.

"I’ll bring some of this to our room first," Ryzel said as calmly as possible even though he was embarrassed.

Fortunately, they haven’t seen the contents or else it would be more embarrassing.

"Please help in opening the boxes first," Ryzel said.

Ryzel didn’t wait for their reply instead he brought all the bags he could carry to their room.

He went back and forth 3 more times to get all the clothes Layton bought for him and of course including the clothes he bought for the 2 of them.

He carried shopping bags back and forth while his 2 guards were opening the other boxes.

Ryzel knew that the 2 guards that were directly in contact with him were ordinary people but even if they were ordinary people Layton wouldn’t tolerate them entering his personal space.

Sentinels were very sensitive people and were particularly possessive specially for their partners.

With their sensitivity they could sense if someone has been in their place. So, he knew that his guards weren’t allowed to go anywhere near their bedroom.

The ones that protect the second floor should be the guards staying outside in secret.

After putting all the shopping bags that contained clothes into their room, he helped in opening the other boxes and checking their contents.

"Where are we going to place these things?" Lana asked.

"Please put all the kitchen wares in the kitchen, and help me arrange all the designs later on," Ryzel said.

With the help of his 2 guards and family robot they finished redecorating the first floor but as for the second floor he still hasn’t finished redecorating it.

The wall paintings and other things were done by the robot of being granted permission to access the second floor after getting the access code from Layton Lewis.

However, he hasn’t finished hanging all the designs and moving some plants to the second floor.

He finally finished all the redecoration in the afternoon.

Ryzel still have two more days before he needed to report to the military headquarters.

He planned to use those two days to start planning his research, but he was forced to use those two days for rest because of Layton Lewis.

Layton Lewis used those two days properly as their wedding night. Because of it Ryzel, who was only let go once it was already dawn was forced to rest for the following two days.

He was definitely against it but he couldn’t do anything about it because Layton Lewis said that it was compensation for his delayed wedding night.

He even reasoned out that it wasn’t even his fault, but Layton Lewis still didn’t let him go knowing that he still has two days of free time.

After two days of resting, he finally went to the military headquarters again.

"Ryzel, we need to talk about something else first before you go to your own laboratory," Layton Lewis said after they were inside his office.

"Oh, what is it about?" Ryzel asked curiously while sitting on the chair in front of Layton Lewis.

"After the information about your mental power level was formally sent out, a lot of people requested your help in guiding 2S level sentinels which is reasonable," Layton Lewis said and paused.

"I see, please continue," Ryzel nodded.

He understood that with his mental power level and having Layton Lewis as his partner he could guide all 2S level sentinels.

The others should have also understood his capability, so they were asking him to guide 2S level sentinels.

He knew that he couldn’t even refuse such a request because it was his duty as a guide and as a citizen of the federation.

Fortunately, he doesn’t mind doing it as long as he still has time to do his research.

"I already talked about this to them and said that you could only start guiding other sentinels after guiding the 2S level sentinels in our army.

After that they could send their most critical 2S level sentinels to us.

The order would of course be based on their military merits. I also said that you could only guide 1 sentinel a day," Layton Lewis explained.

"That’s good at least my time on the laboratory won’t be compromised that much."

Ryzel could actually guide more than one guide a day, but he understood that it is indeed better to just guide 1 sentinel a day so that his time wouldn’t be spent on just guiding.

He knew that 2S level sentinels were all people with certain abilities, so they surely have at least some rare herbs with them. With herbs as compensation Ryzel was more motivated to do his duty properly.
