After a Contractual Marriage, Little Taotie Went Viral!-Chapter 323 - 317: Why Are You Wearing My Clothes?
And she had only eaten a few meals, and already gained two pounds!!
Qin Yun avoided An Yueqian’s resentful gaze, picked up a piece of braised pork and ate it, its soft and sweet flavor making An Yueqian envious.
Just then, Director Chen sighed and said, "This chef is quite skilled, the twice-cooked pork is very authentic."
An Yueqian: "..."
Why did she have to sit here!
She should have been eating her boiled vegetables!!
Qin Yun added fuel to the fire, saying, "Director, if you like it, eat more, don’t be shy. Sister Yueqian was just saying she feels she’s not slender enough and wants to lose a bit more weight to fit the character better."
The director laughed, "You guys eat, don’t mind me. An Yueqian, just maintain how you are now, just don’t drink water at night, it’s easy to get bloated."
At this moment, Screenwriter Xie also walked over with a lunchbox, pretending to be dissatisfied, "Are you guys having a secret feast behind my back?!"
Yuanyuan and Lin Huan both stood up hurriedly upon seeing Screenwriter Xie, offering the chair to the screenwriter, "Screenwriter Xie, sit here."
"Thank you."
"Screenwriter Xie." Qin Yun greeted with a smile.
She had a deep impression of the screenwriter; she owed landing this role to the screenwriter’s strong advocacy.
Director Chen glanced at her, "Aren’t you here too? How’s the script revision going?"
Screenwriter Xie smiled at Qin Yun, saying, "The script’s almost done, I should be able to give it to you tonight."
"Qin Yun, the part you shot earlier might need a reshoot, your new partner will be joining the team tomorrow," Director Chen said.
Qin Yun was taken aback, that soon?
She thought it would be at least a few days.
Qin Yun nodded, "Okay."
"Don’t be afraid, I’ve added more scenes for you," Screenwriter Xie said meaningfully.
Qin Yun: "???"
An Yueqian suggested, "How about some martial arts scenes."
The screenwriter nodded, "I watched yesterday’s video, so I added a few fight scenes last night, and quite a bit of romance as well."
Director Chen also looked at Qin Yun and said, "Why didn’t you say you knew martial arts when you signed the contract? If I had known, I would’ve asked the screenwriter to add it."
"It’s not like you asked for it..." Qin Yun said blankly.
With little filming experience, Qin Yun was a bit lost; could they really add scenes and change settings midway like this?
An Yueqian rolled her eyes and gestured at Qin Yun, "You’re not happy they added more scenes for you?"
"I’m happy, thank you screenwriter, thank you director." Qin Yun quickly responded, maintaining a calm expression.
The director gave her a sideways look and sighed, "Actually, I had discussed with Screenwriter Xie before about whether or not to include martial arts scenes, but since the female actors nowadays are all so delicate, they can’t capture the feeling I want. Who knew we’d find you, unexpectedly saving a stunt double, but your acting skills still need practice."
"Her acting is quite spirited, actually, she’s just untrained, lacking experience. But judging by her filming demeanor, she must have learned a bit, doesn’t look entirely inexperienced, she has some techniques down quite well," An Yueqian reflected.
Qin Yun nodded, "I learned a bit in two or three days just for the audition."
An Yueqian facepalmed, no need to be so honest...
Director Chen was famous for only caring about acting skills, regardless of popularity.
But who would have thought she learned it in a few days just for the audition.
Director Chen was a bit stunned, his lips twitched, though somewhat exaggerating, he had to admit Qin Yun had some talent, otherwise, it was quite impressive for her to stand out in just a few days.
"Forget it, no need to talk about this anymore, the past is in the past. Eat, or the food will go cold." Director Chen quickly waved his hand.
The screenwriter chuckled to the side, rarely seeing Director Chen at a loss and not being able to say anything.
The screenwriter saw several of the same dishes, thinking it was for convenience for those sitting further away, but the taste was indeed good.
In the past few days, she had been busy revising the script, so she hadn’t been to the set, also unaware that many people on the set had been suffering from this private feast.
But their status wasn’t as high as Best Actress An, and they weren’t close enough with Qin Yun, who had just arrived, to bum food every day. Even if they grumbled privately, with Pei Yan being a supporter, they couldn’t really say anything.
After all, she wasn’t spending a dime of the crew’s money, nor occupying public resources. If she was willing to spend, they couldn’t really say anything, at most make a few sour comments.
Plus, as soon as Qin Yun arrived, Pei Yan had treated the entire crew to a late-night snack, clearly marking her as someone he was protecting, so no one wanted to risk doing anything about it.
Today Qin Yun didn’t have a night shoot, so after finishing filming in the afternoon, she went back to the hotel where Pei Yan was staying, having promised to have dinner with him.
When Qin Yun got back to the hotel, Pei Yan was cooking in the presidential suite.
She leaned against the doorway watching for a while, taking out her phone to snap a photo.
Her phone wasn’t on silent, so as she pressed the camera button, the quiet kitchen, where only the stir-frying sound was heard, was filled with a "click."
Pei Yan turned his head, laughter rippling in his deep eyes, raising a brow, "Taking a candid shot?"
Qin Yun put away her phone with a straight face, saying earnestly, "Shooting openly."
"When did you come back?" Pei Yan asked.
Qin Yun gave him a glance, "Pretend, go on pretending! You don’t know when I came back?"
Pei Yan smiled but didn’t refute, "Go take a shower and change into something comfortable, have a seat, the food will be ready soon."
Qin Yun went to the master bedroom, suddenly remembered something, and didn’t wear her clothes. Instead, she took one of Pei Yan’s short-sleeve T-shirts to the bathroom.
After showering and coming out, Pei Yan had just finished preparing the dishes.
Qin Yun walked to the dining table, towel-drying her hair.
Pei Yan, placing the final dish down, looked up to see Qin Yun coming out wearing his T-shirt, towel in hand, drying her hair, with droplets trailing down her neck, disappearing into the shirt.
Pei Yan’s gaze shifted, stepping forward to take the towel from her hand, asked, "Why aren’t you blow-drying your hair?"
"I’m hungry, I’ll blow-dry it in a bit." Qin Yun didn’t resist, standing obediently, letting him do his thing.
Pei Yan’s eyes lingered on her white, slender legs, recalling the last time in his mind, swallowing as his throat bobbed, voice slightly hoarse, "Why did you think to wear my clothes?"
After he spoke, he took her hand, picking up the hairdryer to blow her hair.
"Yuanyuan seems not to have packed clothes for me, mine got dirty, so I had to wear yours." Qin Yun replied innocently.
Pei Yan: "..."
Suddenly regretting suggesting she shower at this time.
"Do you have scenes tomorrow morning?" Pei Yan paused for a few seconds while blow-drying her hair, and asked.
"Yeah, the actor playing opposite me tomorrow seems to be coming too. The screenwriter told me they added quite a few scenes for me, but I’m not sure how the actor playing opposite me will be." Qin Yun thought for a moment, then said. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
"It should be fine." Pei Yan answered a bit stiffly.
