After a Contractual Marriage, Little Taotie Went Viral!-Chapter 227 - 225: Qin Yun Is in a Bad Mood
After being instructed a few times hands-on, Pei Yan, not wanting to push it too far, quickly ’learned’ it.
Yang Leqi watched Pei Yan perform, and her impression of him changed dramatically after this period of interaction.
She couldn’t believe how well her idol could pursue someone he liked!! 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
Even if she didn’t step in, it seemed like it wouldn’t take long for him to win the beauty over?
After a wistful sigh, Yang Leqi saw that Pei Yan had ’practiced’ enough, and returned to the two with two bottles of yogurt.
Qin Yun sensed an additional presence beside her, knew it was Yang Leqi, and turned her head to say, "Let’s dance together first and see how it looks."
"Okay." Yang Leqi nodded and handed the yogurt to the two of them.
"Cameraman brother, could you please help us record it? We want to see how it looks." Yang Leqi said with a smile to her accompanying cameraman.
The cameraman immediately nodded in agreement.
"How about having Mr. Pei in front, and we stand on either side, so we can adjust according to his moves." Yang Leqi suggested after a moment’s thought.
"Alright." Qin Yun glanced at Pei Yan beside her and immediately nodded in agreement.
Pei Yan, who wasn’t great at dancing, looked at the two expressionlessly as they finalized everything, feeling compelled to move to the front.
After watching for a while, Qin Yun felt something was missing. Her gaze then fell on Yang Leqi’s cheerful smile. Understanding, she said to Pei Yan, "Mr. Pei, don’t keep such a wooden face, smile a little."
Yang Leqi didn’t expect Qin Yun to be so straightforward in asking Pei Yan to smile in front of him and couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
Hearing her laughter, Pei Yan and Qin Yun both looked at her.
Under Pei Yan’s deadpan gaze, Yang Leqi coughed lightly, "Ahem, it’s nothing, please continue."
Pei Yan withdrew his gaze, shot a slightly resentful look at Qin Yun, pursed his lips, and curved a smile.
Qin Yun nodded in satisfaction.
The three asked the cameraman brother to help them record once. After reviewing the overall effect, they felt it wasn’t very good; the dance wasn’t quite in sync and the rhythm was a bit off.
After dancing to the music five or six times in a row, it finally started to look okay.
Then, they quickly went for an evaluation.
By now, it was past eleven, almost twelve o’clock.
The evaluation place was in a small room, with a stand at the entrance reading, "Singing and Dancing Task Point."
"Welcome to the ’On the Road’ Singing and Dancing Task Point." the staff member said.
Then continued, "Would you like to start now, or do you need a moment to prepare?"
"Let’s start right away." The three exchanged a glance and said.
The sooner done, the sooner relieved.
Soon, the music started.
Their movements were smooth, and the rhythm was consistent, without mistakes. At the end, they struck a very stylish pose. Pei Yan, when hitting the ending point, showed an exceptionally alluring expression.
So much so that even after the music stopped, the staff hadn’t reacted.
Yang Leqi, slightly out of breath after the full song, saw the staff not responding, glanced at Pei Yan, and understandingly smiled, clearing her throat to remind them, "Ahem, ahem."
The staff came back to their senses, a slight blush of embarrassment on their faces, promptly handed over an envelope saying, "You’ve passed. This is the task card for your next mission."
"Thank you." Yang Leqi took the envelope with a smile.
Qin Yun pressed her lips, glanced at Pei Yan, indeed a charmer, emanating male charm, always at the ready.
She was the first to step out.
Pei Yan noticed her glance, and as he looked over, he found she had already left, so he followed her out.
Yang Leqi watched their departing backs, paused for a moment, and wondered why they’d both left?
Then quickly caught up with them.
"Are we heading to the next task point now, or should we check on the others and wait for them?" Yang Leqi asked as the two seemed unbothered.
"Let’s check on them." Pei Yan paused briefly and said.
The trio soon saw Chen Yao and Qin Hao diligently practicing dancing, but their movements were stiff, looking less like classic dance and more like robotic dance.
"Need any help?" Yang Leqi, hands behind her back, asked with a smile.
Wang Sirui turned his head at Yang Leqi’s voice, saw the three walking over, and asked in astonishment, "You’re done practicing already? So fast?"
"Yep, we’ve already got the next task card." Yang Leqi lifted her hand, showing the envelope, "Aren’t you done yet?"
"No." Chen Yao sighed, helplessly spreading his hands, "I’m the one holding us back, really not good at this."
"Let me help. I’ll coach one each, maybe it’ll speed things up." Yang Leqi voluntarily offered.
Saying this, she walked over to check the dance they needed to perform.
"Great, with you joining, we can speed things up. But, won’t it delay you guys from moving onto the next part?" Wang Sirui immediately agreed.
"Otherwise, it wouldn’t be fair? Once you’ve caught up, it’ll still be early enough for us to move on." Yang Leqi shrugged, palms up.
"Quite generous." Wang Sirui gave her a thumbs up, offering rare praise.
Yang Leqi made a mock curtsey, mimicking the act of holding nonexistent skirts, bending one leg slightly back, "Thank you for the compliment."
Wang Sirui: "..."
Chen Yao nodded to Qin Yun and Pei Yan, "Is that alright?"
"No problem, you wouldn’t win anyway." Pei Yan nonchalantly said.
Chen Yao: "..."
"Not necessarily." Chen Yao said defiantly.
"Well then, give it your best and see." Pei Yan nodded and turned to Qin Yun, "Hungry? Want to eat something?"
"Can we?" Qin Yun, who hadn’t been in high spirits, asked upon hearing this.
"If you want to eat, then we can." Pei Yan replied.
The two ignored Chen Yao’s presence and walked off together.
Leaving Chen Yao feeling out of place, while Wang Sirui, busy consulting with Yang Leqi, didn’t notice them, "Can you coach Brother Yao?"
"I can do both." she nodded.
"Leqi, we’ll go grab a bite and bring you back something to eat later." Qin Yun suddenly remembered someone was missing, turned back and said.
"Sure, no rush. Take your time, they might be a while." Yang Leqi said excitedly.
"Sister Yun, and me! I want some too!!" Wang Sirui quickly shouted.
"Got it, we’ll bring you something." Qin Yun replied.
After leaving everyone’s view, Pei Yan’s gaze fell on Qin Yun. He vaguely felt that something was off about her but couldn’t pinpoint what it was.
Hesitant, he asked, "Are you in a bad mood?"
