Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion-Chapter 288 - 287: First move
Across the Fifth Layer of Space
Two terrifying pressures filled the void, making movement nearly impossible as two forces collided.
One was Void, wreathed in a burning dark sun; the other, a mass of absolute darkness.
On Void's side, a heated flame surged — a power that threatened to devour everything in its path. On the opposing side, the Death Angel's Law of Death spread, making everything bleak, devoid of life — a harrowing column of nonexistence.
The two beings distanced themselves, Void's eyes glowing faintly.
"Ah… the smell of death is so satisfying," the Death Angel said, placing his sword near his nose and inhaling deeply.
"Agreed," Void replied calmly.

Void glanced at his stats, a faint smirk curling his lips as his eyes met the Death Angel's.
There was no need for words — both understood perfectly.
They moved.
Across the battlefield, Rank 3 beings had turned into spectators. They all knew that Void and the Death Angel existed in a realm far beyond theirs. The laws they wielded were nothing like theirs; perhaps they had already touched the edge of Rank 4.
Everyone watched — eager, silent, and fearful.
Pow!
Boom!
Doom!
The two clashed.
Void sidestepped, watching as space itself split apart from the Death Angel's strike. The edge of his sword glinted with lethal sharpness. Void felt his scales tingle but stood his ground and countered with a precise thrust.
An aura of extinction flared as the Death Angel swiftly blocked.
Ggggrrk!
Space rippled violently. The Death Angel frowned, stepping back fast.
BOOM!
The space where he stood moments ago collapsed into nothingness. His arm trembled.
"He's stronger now…" the Death Angel muttered, watching Void already prepare his next attack.

Across the Federation — at the far edge of the multiverse — lay the home base of a terrifying organization.
The Wild Shade Organization.
Their headquarters stood deep within chaotic storms capable of erasing even universal-realm beings in an instant.
"We're here," a voice said as two figures appeared in a vast, shadowy throne room.
The light here barely reached anywhere. The air itself felt eerie and heavy. Dozens of statue heads lined the hall, each radiating a devilish aura.
Darwin's eyes widened, but before he could speak, the being who brought him vanished.
"Darwin, isn't it?" a cold, chilling voice echoed through the room.
Darwin froze. His spine stiffened, and a crushing pressure descended upon him.
How… how does it know my name?
"Former bodyguard of the youngest general and prince, Darius. Early Galaxy Realm being with a recent breakthrough. The lost twin of the eldest prince, Caius. The one who wields dimensional ability. Did I miss anything?"
A faint chuckle followed.
Darwin collapsed to his knees, his body trembling. Even without seeing the speaker, dread filled his soul. It was as if the owner of that voice was fear itself.
"W–who… what are you?" Darwin stammered. His mind screamed to run, but his body refused to move.
The pressure suddenly receded like a tide.
"Look up," the voice commanded.
Darwin obeyed — and his heart nearly stopped.
From the shadows rose a figure, half of its face a diabolical abomination. Each step it took toward Darwin made him feel as though his heart was suspended by a single thread.
"Child, don't be afraid," the being said softly, "from now on, you will be my most trusted confidant."
Darwin's mind blanked, words barely forming. The being stopped a few steps away, patient, unhurried.
"Who are you? Where am I? How do you know about me?" he finally asked.
"Good questions," the figure replied with a faint smile. "I am the leader of the Wild Shade Organization. You're in our headquarters. And I've been watching you, Darwin."
Darwin's body trembled even more.
"Child, I want to show you something."
With a wave of the leader's hand, space rippled — and an image formed.
"The Federation…" Darwin muttered, instantly recognizing it.
Then the view shifted upward, revealing a sky filled with two figures locked in combat — Caius and Darius.
"You never faced him at full strength," the leader said. "Even with your dimensional ability, he didn't consider you a threat."
Each word stabbed into Darwin's heart. Rage, envy, humiliation — all twisted within him.
"You're not even in their league," the leader continued. "Look at them. Look how strong they already are. In a year, they'll be gods. Can you even catch up? Can you?"
Darwin's body trembled. He couldn't respond.
"How about a way out for you?" the leader asked calmly.
Darwin hesitated. "What way?"
"Hahaha… good. I can make you a Multi-Universal Realm being. Your dimensional ability will reach its peak. You'll surpass them all — Caius, Darius, even the Federation itself."
Darwin clenched his fists. "And what do I have to give in return?"
"Your freedom," the leader said. "From now on, you are mine. You go where I command and do what I desire."
He turned back, resting his monstrous arm — writhing with tendrils that distorted reality — on the throne.
"Of course," he added, "you can refuse… but then you'll die."
Silence.
Then Darwin slowly stood. His eyes hardened.
"Not necessary," he said. "I agree."
The leader smiled. "Good child."
Laughter echoed through the throne room.
"Drink."
A cup appeared in the leader's hand. He gave it a light squeeze, and a thick, almost black liquid — blood — filled it halfway. The cup floated gently across the room toward Darwin, who swallowed nervously.
Even before it reached him, he could feel a terrifying aura radiating from it — ancient, suffocating, and filled with pure evil.
It made him recall the question that haunted the Federation for centuries: What exactly is the Wild Shade Organization?
Darwin hesitated as he took the cup. For a brief moment, he could swear something within it looked back at him — a presence vast and malevolent. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
He flinched, his breath hitching, but when his eyes met the calm, unreadable face of the leader, he forced himself to close his eyes and gulped the entire contents in one go.
Instantly, the cup slipped from his grasp and shattered on the floor.
A heart-wrenching scream tore through the room as Darwin fell, convulsing violently. His body twisted and arched as if his very soul was being rewritten.
The leader of the Wild Shade Organization merely watched, his tone calm and final.
"My move… yours now."
He turned his gaze toward the endless void beyond, his eyes reflecting distant stars and the birth of something unspeakable.
