This has been what had been in his mind for hours now,disturbing his inner peace and the promise he made to not fall for her.

How did she do it?

How can she walk into his life,turning ever god-damned things upside down including his beliefs about how he viewed women.

What was so special about her,that he had to resist slapping the shit out of her for lying to his face after he demanded from her the reason why she was so persistent in marrying me.

It was a lie,he knew that,she lied to him but why does he still feel glad that she thinks about him in that way.

Everything about her was so tempting for him,that he finds it difficult to not believe anything that comes out of her seductive lips,her face which was the very first thing that captured his attention the very first time he laid his eyes on her.

She looked like a princess who transmigrated from another world into earth,she looked too real to be called a human.

Then her eyes,her eyes was what stood her out from other women he had encountered,looking at her deep grey eyes was so charming that you can’t resist not staring into those enchanting orbs of hers,her eyes were so magnificent.

Those very eyes which had looked up at him when she’s happy and when he caused her tears after he walked out on her during their engagement.

Those eyes which had captured his heart,making him a prisoner to them as he still finds it hard to look into her eyes whenever they were talking,he always finds a reason to not stare into them because it makes him lose control.

Why did she have to come into his life at this crucial moment in his life?

When he’s still confused over what his love life was turning him into,he’s scared,yeah,he couldn’t lie.

He’s scared of falling too deeply again,he’s scared of falling in love again.

Wow!

The great Zaiden Knight was scared of his feelings.

He tugged free of the tie getting suffocated at the idea that he had to shun her for lying straight at his face when he needed her to tell him the truth.

But why ask her about the truth?

He questioned himself,it’s not like anything’s going to change if she had told him the truth,if she had eventually told him that she loved him,he wouldn’t believe her.

But he was hoping that at least she would give him a tip of why she’s doing this,if anything ,he knew his thoughts were messed up and his feelings weren’t that controlled yet after what Arianna did.

But,he suspected something was wrong with her,he saw the way her face changed instantly when he asked what she wanted, why she wanted to marry him,he remembered her calling him telling him they needed to get married quickly.

Why is she rushing the marriage?

If anything he should be the one who is supposed to get more concerned about this marrt due to the fact that his inheritance depends on it,but it was the other way round.

Something was definitely wrong with her?

And he’s going to find that out,but as of now,he needs to calm down,conduct himself and find out what exactly he wants from her.

He didn’t want his emotions getting the best of him,he didn’t want to lose control in front of her.

So,he needs to find out whatever it is that makes him feel as if he couldn’t seem to stay away from her,he couldn’t believe that he,Zaiden Knight,would go back begging for her to come back.

Who is she for him to do that?

He could imagine the look on Luke’s face when he found out what he did. He knew that getting angry when she said that she was dating another man was a wrong move since he’s denying his feelings for her,but he couldn’t help it.

He couldn’t bear the thought of another man touching what belongs to him,yeah,she belongs to him,by law,she’s about to be his wife so he needs to make her understand what she’s trying to do if eventually she meant it by dating another man.

He was losing his mind and it’s getting worse daily as he couldn’t seem to keep his thoughts away from her,he didn’t know what prompted him to come back for her even after he ended things with Arianna.

He went back for her,which may be the reason why she thought he loved her.

He scoffed when it all merged together, does Hazel think he’s fallen for her?

Was she so naive to see the handwriting on the wall which says that he wasn’t in for another rollercoaster of romance in his life at the moment?

If this was exactly what was on her mind that had her got engaged to her,then,she’s going to get disappointed,because he’s not yet ready.

Yeah,she’s a beautiful woman tht he’s attracted to but he can’t let her know that, he’s still trying to pick himself up.

Furthermore,it’s not worth it for him to be in love right now when the real game has just begun,Nathan was already in the company and he knew what this meant.

So,love was definitely off his list for now,until the old man resigned and handed everything down to him before he could consider her.

He was at war with his feelings,knowing it was going to be hard keeping his feelings at bay,coupled with the fact that she’s now staying in the same house with him.

God!It’s going to be a hard and long journey but he’s not giving up now.

It was all business,he got to know who she was because he needed his inheritance and it will continue being like that,strictly business till he finds out what really it is he wants from her, and also finds out what it is she was hiding in her cupboard.

The door to his office was swung open with force as Arianna walked in with a smile on her face with his secretary walking in with a dreadful look on his face knowing that Zaiden was going to skin him alive for allowing someone inside his office without informing him.

"Hey baby"Anna cooed, walking over to Zaiden who had a blank expression on his face,it was obvious that he’s not in the mood for her.

She however,ignored the look on his face and pecked his lips before sitting on top of his table with her long legs crossed showing off her creamy thighs to the drop dead gorgeous Adonis sitting in front of her.

"Boss,I tried.."Andrew tried explaining when he noticed his boss’s stare on him,but surprisingly, Zaiden shut him up by raising his hands and he took the signal to leave before he took his anger out on him.

"What are you doing here?’’He asked because he couldn’t remember telling her he wanted to see her,and besides the company’s rules prohibited visitations without having an appointment first with the upperheads,so,her coming here means that she was invited to the company by who?

"Don’t you miss me?It’s been days baby"Anna whined standing up to sit on his laps while holding his face in her hands.

He chuckled before turning to draw her close to him,her body tightly wrapped in front of his,her breast pushing against this hard muscular chest.

He pulled her more into him,his head in the crook of her neck,closing his eyes to inhale her scent,he was behaving more like a werewolf these days trying to figure out what’s so special about Hazel’s scent and that of Anna.

But Hazel’s own was unique.

His hands tightened on her waist as if he was controlling himself,she moved on to release more of his button revealing his inked chest to her gaze.

The smile on her face widening when she knew that he’s still reacting to her this way as much as he’s denying that they weren’t together,he would always want her.

She’s his Anna.

She whimpered a little bit when he bit harshly against her neck, sucking roughly in where he just left a hickey,when did he become so rough?

Ziaden sucked harder on her neck where he just left a large hickey,he didn’t knew what exactly made him do this,but it was obvious he needed a release,these few days have been so stressful for him,so he needed someone to help him and his ex girlfriend was doing the needful for him.

Anna was good at seducing him,she always knew when to trigger him to lose his control that has been her power over him,and sadly,he’s a slave to her silly games because he’s hard as fuck and anna was making it worse.

She turned over to straddle him but not before pulling his face over to kiss him,the kiss started slowly when he tried not to give her the idea that he was holding himself from ravishing her,but she made it worse by grinding herself on his hardon.

"You need to go"He said, pushing her off him as he stood up to dress himself up,annoyed that in the end even after being with Anna,he couldn’t seem to stop thinking about those grey eyes.

And the sooner he gets to realize that he had fallen deeply for her,the better.
