After all,she never really asked if he had any girlfriend when she said yes to his parents proposal to get her married to him.

"Dress up,we are leaving"He said, pushing her off him as if she was a disease.

"Why should I listen to you?’’Hazel asked, tying the robe back together to fold her arms, staring at him with confidence.

He was insane if he thinks he can just waltz into her house and tell her what to do.

"What?"Zaiden was sure he didn’t hear her right,did she just question him back?

What gave her the confidence to do that he didn’t know,but he was sure she had grown wings these few days he left her,he was going to cut it off.

"I should be the one asking you that,how dare you walk back into my life acting as if we are good when we are not,was it fun?"Hazel asked,her voice breaking down.

She was on the verge of losing her cool.

The tears were now visible on her face,and this made Zaiden hurt and angry,why was she crying?

"Why should you? after all i wasn’t the person who was supposed to wear the ring"she said again,removing the ring from her finger and that’s when he got angry.

"Put it back on"he said, holding his temperament from getting the best of him,she was crying and he didn’t need his anger getting her to cry more.

It hurts seeing her this way but he won’t admit it.

He can’t let her know that she affected him this much.

"You don’t tell me what to do,asshole"Hazel reacted to the statement by throwing the ring on the floor and that’s when his grip went to her throat,pushing her hard on the wall.

"I have a really bad temper Hazel,so when I tell you something you do it!"He commanded,glaring daggers at her.

Why is she so stubborn?

Can’t she just obey him for once?

What had gotten into to her so suddenly?

Wasn’t she the one who was excited about getting matted to him,so why has the game changed so suddenly.

The man she mentioned earlier,she must be the biggest joker he had ever seen if she thinks she could just walk into his life,mess things up for him and leave without paying the price that comes with it.

"You are one funny human,acting all territorial on me when you have another woman behind the scene,but let me tell you Zaiden,I don’t fall for playboys like you"she said, losing his hold on her neck with bloodshot eyes staring at him.

She hated him for being so low minded to think she would accept whatever it thinks that makes him come find her in her house,she wasn’t going to stoop so low again to be a puppet for his family again.

To hell with his godforsaken inheritance that led them to this.

"She waited for him to apologize after breaking her heart out to him, obviously it’s clear to everyone that she was angry at him and his girlfriend,so apologizing was the best thing he could do right now that would make her change her mind about him.

He scoffed before bursting into an uncontrollable laughter,removing away from her while he continued his laughter.

She was trying hard to believe what was happening,any normal human being would apologize after hearing her talk but she had forgotten so soon, Zaiden wasn’t a normal human being.

"How does it feel?’’He asked, getting closer to her,while tugging her chin up to meet his eyes.

He would have fallen too deep for her,I mean,who wouldn’t do that? She has the most amazing eyes that could bring any man down to his feet after seeing her cry,but sadly,he wasn’t that Zaiden anymore.

He wasn’t the old Zaiden to be moved by a woman’s tears and smiles,it was all a facade,to bring him down to his knees a second time if he falls in love again.

"Do I seem like a joke to you?"

"How does it feel baby,getting a taste of my life before finally sealing your fate with mine?’’He breathed out to her,smirking evilly before she pushed him away, turning to leave for her room, but when stopped he called her name.

"You forget so easily dear, monsters doesn’t love"He said, picking up the ring from the floor before up to her,standing infront of her with a grin on his lips.

He loved seeing her like this.

Call him a psycho or what,he didn’t care.

It was better this way,being the one in control than to be the one to be controlled.

"It fits so well,I will be back tomorrow to bring you back to the house,and I expect you to be on your best behaviour tiger"He said but there was a threat behind those words,daring her to go against what he just said.

He patted her cheeks before exiting the house,her heart bleeding from what he just did.
