Strongest Hammer God-Chapter 798 - The Power of formation Arrays

While Kyle was getting lost in the world of Gravity Metal, some things happened in the Secondary Sector.

A couple of decades after Kyle had left, the Mountain River Sect accepted a declaration of battle.

The entire Sect went into lockdown and waited for the enemy.

The Organization that would soon attack them was called Heavy Lift.

Heavy Lift was pretty powerful. They had eight Fulfilled Crushers and ten Advanced Crushers. In comparison, the Mountain River Sect only had four Fulfilled Crushers but 14 Advanced Crushers.

When Heavy Lift realized that the Mountain River Sect had accepted their declaration of battle, they became frustrated.

They couldn't afford an all-out war at this time. All-out wars always weakened both sides. The territory of the winning Organization would grow substantially, but it would have fewer powerful people to defend it.

This could very quickly lead to the destruction of the winning Organization.

However, they also couldn't just ignore their own declaration of battle. A declaration of battle was a very official document with substantial karmic weight. It was phrased in a very deliberate way.

This left Heavy Lift with only one option. They had to destroy the Mountain River Sect with an overwhelming force. They had to win as quickly as possible.

All the Fulfilled and Advanced Crushers were called in, and Heavy Lift traveled to the Mountain River Sect.

Heavy Lift got its name from its Sect Master, Head Elder, and Disciplinary Elder. The three of them had been friends for a long while, and they were all physical fighters.

One of them had been a Unique Primal in the past, while the other two had managed to become Fulfilled Primals.

The plan was simple. The three of them would charge in and keep every enemy at bay, while the remaining members would attack from a distance.

Due to the severity of this conflict, Heavy Lift couldn't care about collateral damage. Their backline would just carpet bomb the entire Planet, destroying everything on it. This would force the Mountain River Sect to launch a desperate attack that would leave them open.

The 18 Crushers of Heavy Lift appeared on top of the Mountain River Sect's headquarters and immediately started launching their attacks.

There was no warning or opportunity for the Mountain River Sect to prepare. The Crushers had appeared in an instant with the help of a very expensive spaceship.

As the backline launched its attacks, the three leaders stopped above the Mountain River Sect. If anyone charged out, they would need to fight the three leaders at close range.

The attacks of the backline reached the headquarters, but before they could hit anything, a solid wall of metal suddenly appeared.

The attacks hit the solid wall of metal, making it collapse in an instant.

Heavy Lift was slightly surprised by the appearance of the wall. They knew that the Mountain River Sect had Formation Arrays, but they hadn't expected this kind of Formation Array.

Usually, Barrier Formation Arrays didn't have any Elements. They just created a shield of Energy that dispersed the power of attacks. This would stop holes from appearing in the Barrier Formation Array.

Yet, this metallic wall just collapsed, creating several openings.

Even though they hadn't expected this kind of Formation Array, Heavy Lift just went with it and launched attacks into the holes.

However, before they could do so, something happened.

The three leaders of Heavy Lift suddenly found themselves directly in front of one of the holes!

Space Compression Formation Array!

The space between them and the holes had been compressed!

Inside an isolated room in the Mountain River Sect, Star Genesis controlled several Formation Arrays. While doing so, her perception kept track of the battle outside.

The backline of Heavy Lift noticed that their attacks were about to hit their leaders and dispersed them.

When Star Genesis saw that, she activated another Formation Array. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

After realizing with relief that they wouldn't get hit by their companions, the three leaders of Heavy Lift retreated.

Wall!

There was a wall behind them!

The Barrier Formation Array had expanded, and they were now inside the Barrier!

When Heavy Lift's backline saw a wall appearing between them and their leaders, they became panicked.

In desperation, they launched several attacks at the metallic walls.

With every attack, one of the walls collapsed. Ethereal attacks like lightning, wind, and fire attacks broke the wall but dispersed into the surroundings. Physical attacks like earth, ice, and metal broke through the wall and hit the Planet below them. However, physical attacks didn't have as large of an area of effect as ethereal attacks.

Because of that, both kinds of attacks only caused minor damage to the headquarters below the metallic walls.

The walls kept collapsing, but new walls kept replacing them.

Meanwhile, the leaders inside the barrier noticed the attacks by their comrades and quickly came up with a new plan.

They had to destroy the Formation Arrays!

All three of them charged at the headquarters and attacked the buildings.

Gigantic explosions tore the entire Mountain River Sect to pieces in an instant. Within mere moments, only craters remained where buildings had once been.

Yet, the three leaders realized with horror that the wall was still regenerating!

What was going on?!

Why was the Formation Array still working?!

The three of them kept destroying more of the Planet, creating tens of craters that were tens of kilometers wide.

Eventually, they found another metallic wall deep underground.

Then, they realized what was going on.

This was not a Barrier Formation Array!

This was a Confinement Formation Array!

These two kinds of Formation Arrays only really differed in one aspect. A Barrier Formation Array had its components inside of it, while a Confinement Formation Array had them outside of it.

This meant that they had to break the Formation Array by attacking the walls.

Yet, before they could do so, the walls around them vanished.

Or, more precisely, the walls changed.

Countless gaps appeared inside the walls as the walls morphed into terrifying spears.

All the spears pointed at the three leaders, and an instant later, a bit of azure appeared near their bases.

BANG!

The spears exploded forward with terrifying speed, and the leaders raised their defenses.

It was impossible to avoid all of them.

Several of the spears hit them, wounding them heavily. Luckily, the three of them had protected their Centers, minds, and vital Energy Pathways. They would need to spend Biological Energy to recover, but they wouldn't die.

Yet, an instant later, another volley of spears manifested as the metal of the previous spears turned into pure Metal Energy.

The leaders realized with horror that they would die if they didn't manage to escape.

During all of this, the leaders didn't notice that their backline was no longer firing attacks at the Formation Array.

That was because all of the Mountain River Sect had charged at the back line.

All members of the Mountain River Sect fighting against all the members of Heavy Lift, minus three Fulfilled Crushers, would be an equal fight.

However, the Mountain River Sect wouldn't have accepted the declaration of battle if this were to turn into an equal fight. While the leaders had been busy with the Confinement Formation Array, the actual Barrier Formation Array had activated.

Yet, before activating, the Space Compression Formation Array had activated again.

It pulled the ten Advanced Crushers closer just before the Barrier Formation Array activated.

Now, Heavy Lift was split into three.

Their three leaders were in confinement near the base.

Ten Advanced Crushers were stuck between the Confinement and Barrier Formation Arrays.

Five Fulfilled Crushers were outside the Barrier Formation Array.

And just when the ten Advanced Crushers tried to attack the new Barrier Formation Array, all members of the Mountain River Sect had appeared.

The ten Advanced Crushers came face to face with 14 Advanced Crushers and three Fulfilled Crushers.

None of the Fulfilled Crushers would be able to break through either of the Formation Arrays before the ten Advanced Crushers were slaughtered.
