"Hazel,come see this!"Sunny shouted all the way from the sitting room,her voice laced with anticipation at whatever it was that got her interest which made her call Hazel.

"What?’’Hazel said, yawning,it was already time for bedtime but Sunny wasn’t close to falling asleep.

She has a crush on some model,who was working in the same agency with her,he was her senior and much more popular which made Sunny go gaga everytime she saw him.

"See he sent back a reply to my message Hazel,oh my goddd!"She exclaimed standing up, her phone was placed on her chest while Hazel looked at her amused at the whole drama.

Hazel was sure the guy wasn’t interested in her but she didn’t want to spoil Sunny’s happy mood because it is an open secret to everyone that Mason was a playboy.

She could count how many pictures of his that were in Sunny’s phone,and sometimes she wondered if Sunny had any picture in her phone other than his own.

She judged herself for trying to be bad minded towards Sunny’s crush mason,but she was just worried.

She didn’t want what happened to her to happen to her best friend, her’s taught her a lesson,it would be good if Sunny learnt from it.

Oh!stop it Hazel,everyone is not like Zaiden.

Yeah,Masons is definitely not like Zaiden,whatever it is that he made him text her, she prays his courage would be enough to tell her friend what he had in mind towards her rather than flirting around just like they always do.

But Sunny was different,although she hasn’t hit it big in the industry,she was sure it was not going to change her,yeah, Sunny’s is different unlike Zaiden.

Why can’t she stop thinking of him,she was probably sure he was having the best of his life with his girlfriend.

She made a mistake by thinking she would fit into their world,what gave her the right to daydream that he would end up with her when she’s not among their league?

"Hazel!"Sunny shouted, drawing the long lost Hazel out of her thoughts.

"Sorry,I was out for a few minutes"She said smiling to Sunny who observed her with a questioning look.

"It’s about him,"Sunny demanded.

"About who?"Hazel inquireed.

"Can you stop lying,it’s written all over you that you are still thinking about him"Sunny insisted but the girl surprised her when she bursted it laughing"what is it?"

"You are really funny Sun,what do you take me for?"Hazel was thinking about him,yes,she was amused with the way Sunny was taking everything serious.

After all,he’s not worth thinking about,so Sunny should just stop with her lectures already.

It felt as if he was someone important that she lost when it was only an annoying spoiled brat who doesn’t know what he wants in life.

Zaiden was still a kid,since he couldn’t make a decision for himself and only listened to what his family say. He’s still a kid.

She couldn’t really blame him for agreeing to marry her,but what made her angry at him was the fact that he had a girlfriend and yet pretended not to have one after the constant pressure for his family to introduce a girl to them.

What made her much more angry was the fact that he was making her feel happy that atlast she was going to do everything she had listed down in her bucket list with him.

Why do you feel sad seeing him with another girl?

She’s not in love with him.

She can’t be inlove with some stupid asshole.

It was just an attraction.

She’s just affected because he’s the first man she had ever take an interest in.

"Arrh,you are no fun"Sunny said getting annoyed at her constant distracted attention.

"I’m fine Sunny,thanks for your concern but but I’m clearly okay"Hazel said standing up to get a drink for herself,she got one for Sunny too who went outside.

They were in the patio loving the cool evening,it was late spring,and the moon was shining brightly today making the heavens look so beautiful.

"What if he comes back begging?"Sunny asked further,she knew Hazel.

She was attracted to Zaiden.

She might try to deny the fact that she likes him,but she’s no fool. It was written all over her.

If she wasn’t interested in him,she wouldn’t feel hurt and affected by what he did to her.

"Who’s begging? He’s not going to beg Sun, Zaiden is not that considerate like you"Hazel said, pinching her cheeks lightly before releasing her cheeks,then turned to look back into space.

"I was just asking,I would beat the hell out of him if he tries anything funny the next I see him"Sunny said with a promise at what she said,she hadn’t seen the said Zaiden yet but she was sure she’s going to set his brain to function normal if he thinks he was going to use her friend for fun.

"Do you want me to tell you something funny?’’Hazel said changing the topic,it’s so obvious she was avoiding having this conversation with her.

"What is it?"Sun turned to her.

"I think I’m being followed,there’s this feeling I get that someone is watching me whenever I’m out but I see no one if I turn back"

"You are just just hallucinating babe,who would have you followed,stop it you are acting like a detective already"Sunny said laughing.

"Right?why would anyone have me followed?"She said stretching her body,getting ready for bed.

"You are just affected by all these that have been happening lately,don’t worry we will go shopping tomorrow to get you back to yourself"

"Shopping?"Hazel asked with raised eyebrows, looking suspiciously at Sun who scratched her hair.

She knows what happens every time she talks about shopping,the next thing that follows is ..

"Yeah,we can go clubbing later,a few drinks will help too"Sunny added,dancing infront of Hazel to get her to agree on going to the club tomorrow.

And just like she had expected,she suggested clubbing,when will she ever stop going to the club.

It was the same club that got her in this very situation and now she’s trying to get her to go clubbing again.

"I don’t feel much like club..."

"Oh,come on baby just because you met him there doesn’t mean that going to the club is a bad idea"Sunny persisted,holding her arms while giving her a puppy face"please eee?"

"Why do you want to me going with you that much,you can just go alone since I’m not interested?"

"Because it’s time to get you a man who would make you forget that asshole called Zaiden"

Uh..not again.

"Yeah,thanks for your concern, good night"Hazel blurted out giving her a forcwd smile before heading for her room but not without Sunny following her behind.

"Okay,I’m sorry if I sounded harsh but I was just trying to get you back to your normal self"

"By clubbing or by getting a man for myself?Do I really look that pitiful?"Hazel asked, getting angry.

"No Hazel,I was just concerned about you..."

"Well,thanks for your concern but like I told you before I’m fine!’’She said lastly, shutting her room door with force with sunny stood there calling her name.

"I’m sorry Hazel,I guess I was been unreasonable this time, goodnight"she said going to her room with a sad face.

Hazel walked to sit on her bed with angry,yeah, she was angry that Sunny could think so low of her,why couldnt she accept the fact that she was fine.

Yeah,she may still be feeling a bit shaken up but she was fine.

The last thing she needed was dwelling in self pity when she could use this few months she had left to enjoy till her time is up.

What use is it to be sad for something that won’t last long?

Hazel,why bother yourself whereas,in a year’s time you would be sweft out of the surface of the earth,so why bother yourself?

In the end,it would only be her leaving the earth while Zaiden lives his life to the fullest.

What an unfair fate!
