Ethan broke the trance he was in while looking at her, knowing that it was too early to tell her this,telling her that she was his sister was going to make her suspect that he had been following her for some time now.

He knew it was too risky revealing the reason for his constant approach towards her,because she was too quick in leaving judgemental words at him so, him telling her this, is only going to result in her looking at him like a deranged man.

She labelled him a stalker,but this time she may involve the police if he ever told her the truth.

He was still unable to digest the fact that she was engaged to Zaiden Knights,his biggest rival in the business world.

How cruel was fate to make her a rejected Fianceè after the sudden appearance of the playboy’s secret girlfriend.

He was angry at the fact that he made her cry ,because looking at her and how she was avoiding making contact with anyone at all,he knew things were messy on her part with her supposed Fiance’s family.

He wished he was close enough to tell her to move on,to stay away from their family,they were never up to any good aside from the fame and popularity they wasn’t anything worth getting married there.

Zaiden alone was enough for her to decide not to get married into that family,he was one good fellow that doesn’t have any ounce of humanity in him,talkmore of getting married to someone as innocent as her.

And also,judging from her family background,he was suspicious at how she was accepted by the household when they could have him married to the same person for their social status,so why would someone like her?

Something Was definitely wrong,it’s so suspicious that the great Knights Empire will have the sole heir to their business settle down with someone who was not among their league.

But judging from her really feisty character that doesn’t take bullshit from anyone she doesn’t look like she’s been threatened.

"You are sick in the head,"Hazle told him, annoyed that he thinks that she had his time for silly jokes.

She had waited for him to say anything that’s worth his reason for being here but as usual he didn’t have anything to say.

Rather than looking at her till she got tired of waiting for his answer.

"I’m sorry,I was...."Ethan told him but she cut his words short,taking her bag to look at him.

"Forget it,you ruined my day already so no need of your stupid reasons,it’s irritating to my ears,but I will be not be lenient the next time I find you around me"She told him,not caring thelook of sadness and hurt in his face but she was way too heartless to care.

She figured out this was the only way to get him to stop following her,he was so stubborn just like Zaiden.

"You are harsh with your words,I only need your attention, I am not a stalker"He explained, holding his anger in.

She had a bad mouth,which he found out today.

She can be rude depending on her mood and her mood right now,was that of an angry fellow who’s irritated by his presence.

Hazel felt a bit sorry for the way she spoke to him,but he didn’t give her any choice to do that,turning to apologize he was fast in saying before her.

"Have a good life,Mrs Knight ’’He taunted,smirking evilly when he noticed the look on her face when he called her that.

If she had the guts to get him angry ,who says he couldn’t do that back to her,after all revenge is best served cold.

Hazel rolled her eyes at him before hailing a taxi to the orphanage,as usual she met the brooding Susan who would always bicker at her with useless questions but this time she ignored her.

She wasn’t in the mood for her tauntings today,after seeing Lady Morgana and noticed the improvement on her health,she felt relaxed.

She didn’t want the woman dying soon because she couldn’t take another heartbreak in a row.

She faced the other girl that was working on the gifts for the children before she left,her ringing phone brought her out of her gloomy trance.

"Sun"she called not looking at the caller but was more surprised when it wasn’t Sunny that called her rather someone else who she never expected to call any time soon.

"Hazel"Avery called over the phone not knowing where to start to talk to the girl. She heard from the chief of staff that she left with a gloomy look on her face yesterday and discovered the reason for that.

She shouldn’t have taken her anger out on Zaiden right in front of her, giving her the initiative that something was wrong and now the young lady is having two thoughts about her engagement with her son.

It was all Zaiden’s fault,she couldn’t blame Hazel,she was saving the last of her dignity after the rumours about her son and the model,who he hasn’t given them any clue on how he’s related to her.

"Moth...Mrs knights"Hazel replied, correcting herself when she noticed the mistake she was about to make.

She could hear the faint sigh that escaped from her lips before asking her,"It’s still mother to you Hazel,When did you leave"

"Actually,I wanted to talk to you about..."

"You know where to find me Hazel if you need to talk,I will be at home waiting for you"Avery said, lastly hanging up on the girl before she could drop any statements.

Whatever it is that Zaiden has with that model,he has no other choice to cut it off because Hazel is and would always remain her daughter in-law.

Hazel stepped down from the car with her mind occupied with the thoughts of what she was going to say to Avery once she saw her.

As much as she didn’t want to break the woman’s heart,she would have no other choice to do that seeing as her son already had another plan altogether.

"Who gave the right to leave the house?"the very same familiar baritone voice that had been on her mind asked her,as she turned to stare more like gape into the deep blue eye of Zaiden standing right infront of her house.

"Excuse me?"She asked, not quite understanding what he meant by that statement.

What was he doing in front of her house?

Isn’t he supposed to be with his girlfriend,what was her name again?

"Do you think just because mother had been lenient to you,you don’t think of the fact that you are spoiling the family’s name by returning back home,what do you think the press will say once they see this!"He asked, raising his voice at her,then came to stand in front of her.

He couldn’t control himself when he’s angry and coming home to notice that she had left after watching the cctv made him more angry.

Who gave her the right to leave the house?

What exactly is her problem?

Wasn’t she happy that she finally got what she had always wanted so why did she leave?

He doesn’t understand her sometimes,why did she leave when she finally got what she wanted?

His face was turned to the side not believing what just happened,she glared daggers at him for having to think that she was his puppet which he could treat anyhow.

Doesn’t he have any conscience at all?

He needed to apologize for humiliating her, making her the centre of attention in the country,but he didn’t; instead he had to question her leaving the family house.

"How dare you?’’He seethed, reading his hands up to slap her back but she stood firm not flinching at all, staring right back at him,her eyebrow raised daring him to do that.

"Do it?"She dared,smiling with tears forming already in her eyes"what’s stopping you,just do it already out arrogant piece of shit that has no conscience for humanity!"

He felt his heart hurt when she uttered her last statement,why does he feel hurt seeing her like this?

He had broken up with Arianna just to get married to her not because he loved her but because he felt he was doing the right thing and also granting her request of getting married to him at all cost even if he’s not willing.

Then why does she seem affected by what happened?

He finally bright his hand down,not knowing the reason he felt hurt for seeing her like this.

After their very encounter at the club,this grey eyes had been on his mind haunting his sleep at night.

"If you don’t have anything meaningful to say,get the hell out of my neighbourhood"she said, turning to leave but she got pushed to his chest.

He held her in his arms,his head in the crook of her neck,inhaling that particular scent of her that drove him crazy.

"What the hell are you dining,leave me alone",she struggled to free herself,she didn’t want him seeing her like this,hurt and vulnerable because he might use it against her.

"Stay still"He told her,holding her tight to him still struggling to say the very words that he knew should change her view about him.

"Do you think I don’t know what you are doing,trying to get me to open up so you could hurt me the second time"

She’s jealous.

But why is she,after all she didn’t really cared about him at the beginning so why the sudden attraction?

What’s she trying to play him the same way Arianna did?

Is this an act to get him to fall for her only to be heartbroken for the second time?

Why does he feel uncertain about this new side of her,about this side of her that’s making him believe that she’s only pretending.

Why is he afraid of giving her a chance to get to know the real him?

He pushed her off him immediately,before entering his car and driving away from her,away from the truth which he was running away from.
