"Who let her out,how could you guys be so careless to let Hazel leave the house!"Grandpa shouted at the duo seated in the sitting room,his voice sounding on every corner of the house. It was so obvious to everyone that the old man was annoyed and in a very bad mood today.

He felt guilty for not talking to Hazel yesterday,although it wasn’t his fault entirely,because he didn’t know what to tell the young girl after his crazy grandson choosed to disgrace the family members by bringing his hidden girlfriend to their engagement party. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

Not only had he told the family in the very first beginning that he wasn’t interested in getting married to her,he also went ahead to ruin the family’s image using his girlfriend.

Although,he hasn’t heard from Zaiden’s point of view, because he left the house early before everyone, which made him not want to have a talk with him about that girl.

Talking of the girl,he asked Ezekiel to look up on her and get her information right away and he still wasn’t here.

"Father,you need to calm down,your health"Sophia suggested while hiding her smile about the old man’s angry state.

This time,Nathan was not at her side to tell her what to do so she was free to talk how she wanted to without any hindrance.

She noticed the glare she got from Avery for dropping that statement but Averywas no fool,she noticed the sarcasm behind her statement,she was loving every bit of what was happening right now.

"What,I’m concerned about him"Sophia reacted to Avery’s glance,sounding offended that she questioned her concern for the old man.

"What’s wrong with father?"Elijah asked when he noticed the way the old man was.

"Baby,you are back"Sophia called standing up to welcome him,dropping a peck on his cheeks before taking his briefcase rolling her eyes at Avery before leaving for their bedroom.

"Where’s Zaiden,he should be here before I say this’ ’Elijah asked Avery who sat down with her hand on her jaw while deep in thought.

He had expected everyone to be present including the supposed Fianceè before he said what he wanted to say.

It might sound funny,but this drama was just interesting.

Although,he was opposing his brother’s proposal about contacting Arianna’s agency after she was selected as the model to advertise their project they were launching soon.

He finally figured out that the same model who was scouted for the company’s project was no other person than the very same girl that’s causing jeopardy in the family today.

He must commend,the girl had perfect timing appearing on the same day that his nephew was getting engaged to that girl.

"What do you mean?"Avery asked,her attention and that of grandpa shifting to him.

"Actually..."He started.

"Father"Ezekiel called,waking into the sitting room with Nathan following behind,he sat down on the couch tired.

"You are back"Sophia said,her face lightening when she saw Nathan as she came into the parlour.

"She’s the model in charge for the company’s project this season,Arianna Walter,"Ezekiel said, giving Grandpa the file containing her information.

Figures! The name sounded familiar after watching the news today,the lady was the same person that the company wanted to be the model for the project he and Elijah were working upon.

What baffled him was the reason why Zaiden had to endure the torture of his mom’s constant nagging of him to get married already when he has a girlfriend.

"She would make a perfect wife to Zaiden"He said not minding Grandpa’s dislike for the girl as he made a mean face going through the information he had about her in his hands.

"What if the rumour turns out to be false?"Nathan chirped in.

"Nathaniel"His mother called when she noticed what he was about to do.

"Like everyone is so tensed up about the sudden appearance of some girl just because Zaiden left with her on his engagement day,without hearing if really he had anything to do with her, I mean they could be friends"

"I see everyone is gathered because of me again,wow,how lovely!"Zaiden said in a really amused voice as he walked in on them having this discussion about him.

He didn’t know they would be so vexed with the idea of having a girlfriend after been tagged a gay by the whole country.

What were you expecting them to do, you dimwit!

"Zaiden!"Ezekiel shouted at him, already annoyed at his constant headache he was giving to the family over this issue of marriage.

"Where’s Hazel?"Grandpa asked,not minding his hubristic attitude towards what he caused the family.

"How would I know that,after all she left her fiance"He sarcastically replied,sitting beside Nathan.

"Why wouldn’t she do that when you had made up your mind to humiliate the family and disgrace that innocent young lady?"Averyy attacked him with folded arms.

She didn’t know how to lift her face in public after what happened talkmore of convincing the young lady to come back when her son has been unreasonable.

"Mother seriously?we all know that wasn’t my fault,you were the one who brought up the topic of marriage without caring if I had anyone in mind"Zaiden said standing up,getting annoyed of them putting the blame on him,when it’s quite obvious that everyone was at fault here.

"Zaiden, mind your words this instant"Ezekiel defended his wife,this time his son was at fault because he could remember asking him if he was interested in someone.

"I’m having headaches,lower your voices’ ’Sophia told Zaiden, touching her temple and then turned to notice everyone staring at her.

She might think she was smart by trying to add more fuel to the tenson in the room but she was only been stupid.

"Then how the fuck is this chicken fish related to you?"Grandpa asked this time, referring to Arianna.

Was that referred to Anna?

Everyone burst out laughing at Grandpa’s words about the girl forgetting about the fact that she was a top model and was important for the company at the moment.

Okay,now this was one crazy family.

Zaiden himself was no exception,his grandpa can be funny sometimes,but calling Anna chicken face was such a turn up.

He couldn’t imagine the look on Anna’s face if she was here to witness how his family were using her as a caricature.

He was supposed to be angry with the way grandpa talked about her,but surprisingly,the only thing he felt right now was amusement over what he just said.

Sadly, his feelings for her had changed after she cheated on him,because he could still remember how he felt like strangling Luke if he talked bad about her.

But things have changed now,he’s not the same person he was before,right now the real Zaiden is out.

"Why do I feel weird talking about my private life in front of you guys"

"Zaiden!"Everyone shouted.

"I’m out of here"Nathan said standing up,masking the anger in his heart over the way his family was concerned about him cousin.

"She’s my ex"Zaiden finally said as everyone looked at him with a questioning look on their face except for his uncle and his wife.

If anything,Elijah was expecting this as his answer because he had a plan over what was happening and everything was working just fine the way he wanted.

Sophia herself wasn’t enjoying anything about this,if anything she was annoyed that the girl was his ex.

She had not expected his answer to be different,she needed Hazel away from her at all cost,but sadly,his answer wasn’t anything satisfying to her.

"Seriously she’s only an ex?’’Avery asked further,finally getting happy about what she just heard. She had her breathing on hold while she waited for Zaiden’s answer.

She didn’t want the girl to marry him,she didn’t like anything about the model,if anything she looked more like the gold digger than Hazel.

Hazel was perfect.

Zaiden nodded.

"Then why did she have to appear suddenly,at your engagement at that,giving the wrong idea to the whole country?"Grandpa chirped in.

"Because she’s jealous,if i’m correct,how lovely"Elijah said with a crooked smile on his face which Zaiden noticed.

He was more excited about this discussion because unlike before,he never was interested in anything that had to do with him.

"Then what about Hazel?what happens to her?"Ezekiel asked,before Avery and Grandpa attacked him.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Of course the wedding is to be continued, my babygirl is the one and only for this dickhead here"Avery said smiling widely while pointing at her son who rolled his eyes at her.

"Send a car to bring the lady back home"Ezekiel ordered the chief of staff who was present while witnessing everything that was happening.

He smiled before leaving to get the princess back home.

"Isn’t it too early to have her staying here?"Zaiden said.

Not trying to believe what he just did,he allowed his family into his private life just to get their special daughter back.

He didn’t know what Hazel did to brainwash his family,everyone was so cut up in her web,that they rejected someone on their social level just for her.

What’s so special about her that everyone was drawn to her,sadly including him.

"What do you mean Zaiden?I want a grandchild before clocking fifty"Avery said standing in front of him,with a smile on her face.

His mother was crazy.

He was sure of it.
