365 Days To Love-Chapter 51 - FIFTY-ONE:He Hated Her Pity For Him.

Arianna whimpered in pain as she tried releasing her hand from Zaiden’s grip,he tightened his hold on her hand that she was sure he was going to leave a bruise on it.

No matter how angry he is at her,she too was also angry at him,they needed to talk to settle things between them but it seems like he had other plans for himself seeing as he got engaged immediately after their last encounter.

If he thinks she’s going to sit down and watch him get married while she suffered all these years just to get to be on the same social background with him so that she won’t feel inferior once she sees his parents then he was kidding.

"Stop it already Zaid"She cautioned him when they were out of the house in the empty road,she finally got free from his hold as she touched her wrist that was red from the pressure he had on them while he dragged her out of the building.

"What do you want?"He asked in a really vexed tone,his back turned to her that she didn’t see his raised eyebrow at her.

"Baby,come on,you aren’t happy seeing me here,I’m back"She told him going to his front to hold his hand but he retracted it immediately from hers.

Things have changed.

She noticed.He had changed,he wasn’t the same Zaiden that loves Arianna,his Anna.

"Back?’’Zaiden questioned her,scoffing at her words,before looking into her eyes that were looking in awe at him because of his changed attitude towards her.

"I can explain sweetheart,it was not what you are thinking"She started,going to hold him again but he raised his hand,halting her steps.

She started crying when she couldn’t take it anymore,why was he pushing her away right now when she’s decided to come back so that they can see his parents.

"Remind me again Anna,did you thought of me when you were whoring yourself to some man huh?"He was irritated at her for shamelessly acting on him by trying to act as if nothing happened between them.

Does she take him as a fool or what?

Did she actually think that because he loves her that he was going to forgive her and forget that she was dating behind his back while promising him that she belonged to him?

He couldn’t take the pictures of her wearing that robe when she saw him standing in front of her hotel room which she shared with that model.

They would always be the same,he didn’t actually blame her,he disliked the entertainment industry for the despicable acts done by girls just to get popular.

He wasn’t happy when she told him of her dreams to become a model but he had no choice but to allow her to live the life of her dreams.

He didn’t want to be the reason that she gives up what she really loves doing,he wasn’t selfish to do that but she really disappointed him because he thought at least she would be different from others.

She proved him right about his assumptions about celebrities,making him realize that he made a terrible mistake by letting her be a model.

And now after being caught red handed by him in the act she’s trying to maneuver her way back into his life using the love he had for her.

She thought wrong of him,she didn’t know how these few years of leaving him had made him realize that all wasn’t fair in love.

But why did she have to come see him out of all the days and it had to be on his engagement day.

He didn’t want to imagine the sad look on Hazel’s face once she realized that his ex was trying to get him back.

Not that he was concerned about her,after all she never really asked him if he was single or dating someone and jumped into the idea of marrying him.

But it still feels wrong,he didn’t want to hurt her but he couldn’t afford to fall for her,it’s too risky to fall in love again.

"Zaid you have to listen to me,there’s nothing going on between Micheal and I,it’s just a publicity stunt,we are just a couple in public that’s all"she explained trying to sound convincing to him so that he could rethink what he was trying to do.

He was supposed to be engaged to her and not to that girl.

He had to listen to her and probably know what she had with the agency.

"Do I look like a fool to you?you had nothing going on but you were in a hotel room half naked with him,tell me,are you still a virgin?"Zaiden inquired,since she claims not to have anything going on between the two of them, then she has to answer this question.

"Babe"she called, walking over to hold his hands and this time he didn’t move away from her.

"Arianna,are you still a virgin?"He asked this time through gritted teeth because she was clearly trying to avoid the question.

Well,what was expecting her to tell him,that she would keep herself for him.

She promised him to be her first and last but she broke all her promises,what else does she have to offer him except for the lies that she still cared about him.

"I’m sorry babe,we can still work things out Zaid,you love me and not her"she blurted out palming his face to look directly into his eyes.

She was trying to seduce him,after all what’s the use of her body if she couldn’t use it to get what she wants.

He laughed when he heard what she said,oh!she’s jealous about Hazel.

"It’s not about love Anna,it’s about keeping the promises made to the people you love,when we talk about love it’s making sacrifices to keep the ones you love and you Anna, you are one big lair when you say you love me"He told her while the memories and words she said to him before leaving him came flashing across his mind,she broke the trust he had in her.

She’s different from the Anna he knew,the Anna he knew won’t mess up just the way she did.

"Babe..."

"I’m sorry Anna,it’s over between us"he said firmly, turning to leave her but she ran and hugged him from the back.

"I’m sorry,I’m really sorry I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness Zaiden but please don’t leave me",she cried, wetting his tux from the back.

It started raining heavily when she said her last statement,it felt as if heaven knew that someone was heartbroken.

It pained him that he didn’t actually end up getting married to his childhood sweetheart but he couldn’t settle for less,if she can cheat behind his back and ask for his forgiveness simply because she knew he loved her and was going to forgive her.

She was still going to repeat the same mistake again,he knew her,she was desperate.

He was sure his family, especially his mother, would be angry about her appearance at the wedding, which caused a scene that made people wonder what she has with him, ruining his mother’s good mood.

He didn’t know whether he still loves her,yes,he still cares for her,but he was going to risk getting heartbroken the second time if he accepts her back and besides not when he has a fianceè waiting for him.

He held in his tears not wanting to be vulnerable in front of her,she might use his weakness to get him to agree to still date her and that was going to be a big issue.

He released her hand not without Arianna’s constant pleading of him to not leave her,he didn’t turn to look at her as he left her to her miserable state,his heart aching for what he just did.

Accepting her means getting to break up with Hazel,he couldn’t afford to break her heart just because of Anna.

He was confused between who to choose,even though he still cares for Anna,Hazel was still in the picture.

He didn’t want to hurt her.No,he couldn’t afford to hurt the very girl that had his attention for the time being.

His mind wasn’t at peace after knowing that he would hurt Hazel if he accepted Anna back,he just couldn’t afford to hurt her.

With the thoughts of what she might probably be doing at home filled his mind ,he entered the sitting room to find his angry mother looking at him with a really angry look.

"Mother"he called pretending all was good as he went to hold her but she slapped him before he could do that.

His face was really hurting where she slapped as he looked at her. Well,he was not that surprised but he knew he had it coming his way but he didn’t expect it coming from his mother.

But why would she slap him before he could even explain to her,it wasn’t his faults that the engagement she had being talking about nonstop got ruined by his ex and besides,it wasn’t actually his fault because he didn’t asked for a fucking engagement.

He didn’t want to get married now,she was the person who orchestrated all these,bringing Hazel to him as a wife without asking him if he had a girlfriend.

Turning around to see Hazel on the stairs looking pitifully at him with wide eyes,he got angry instantly.

Why does she feel pity for him,when she’s the one alongwith his mother who ruined and forced him into getting married.

Why does she act like she fucking cares,isn’t this what she wanted?

To have his attention?

To have him wholesale to herself using marriage?

He despised the look of pity she had on her face towards him because she didn’t fucking care,she was here for the money so why the corcern?

He slammed the door in anger leaving the house to clear his mind,he needed space for sometime.

Away from Hazel.

Away from her enchanting grey eyes that makes him lose his thinking whenever he’s around her.
