An unknown amount of time passed after Corey consumed the Will of the Old One, and Corey continued to sift through the bloodline of the Old One.

After spending some time trying to understand a portion of the intricacies of the One One's bloodline, he came to understand one thing.

The Old One was a creator of abominations and nightmares.

With the Old One's bloodline, he could have a countless number of abominations fight his battle, and each abomination would possess abilities a small percentage of people in existence would be able to deal with.

With the bloodline of the Old One, Corey could form a terrifying army in the future.

He saw a few other abilities, but the one that greatly interested was the ability to create and command nightmares.

'He's hiding many other abilities from me, and these abilities seem to be in the main body, not the Nightmare Fingers.'

'I can use the Nightmare Fingers as a gateway to know what other abilities he has, but I have a feeling that this would also allow his main body to have a way of getting to me.'

'He might not act because of the Paragon Ancestor, but it's still wise to be careful.'

'I can deal with a fraction of his Will, but not the main thing.'

After some time, he finished going through everything the bloodline had, then he completely suppressed the Will of the Old One in him.

He then looked at the Supreme Ancestor next, then he clenched his fist.

Chains shot out of the prison and wrapped around the Supreme Ancestor, binding him even more tightly than the Old One.

The prison and the Will of the Supreme Ancestor shook and shrunk into a marble.

Just as he was about to use his telekinesis to draw the marble to himself, he saw the Will of the Paragon Ancestor shake his head from the corner of his eyes.

He frowned and looked at the Paragon Ancestor.

The Paragon Ancestor's Will could not speak, so he could not ask why he didn't want him to consume the Supreme Ancestor first.

He shifted his gaze to the Supreme Ancestor who was now as small as a marble in his prison.

"I see."

He suddenly guessed a few things, then he waved his hand at the Paragon Ancestor and brought him closer.

"If I'm not wrong, you want me to consume you first before consuming him because it could end up badly for me."

The Paragon Ancestor did not answer or move, and Corey looked at the Supreme Ancestor.

The Supreme Ancestor made no movement and neither did he suddenly speak out of nowhere, but Corey could see the Supreme Ancestor calmly staring at him even though he was imprisoned and his size had reduced.

"I guess I'm right." He mumbled softly, then he looked back at the Paragon Ancestor.

"I was planning on suppressing you last, but since it might be dangerous for me. I'll suppress you next."

He snapped his fingers in the next moment, and chains shot out of the prison and bound the Paragon Ancestor.

The Paragon Ancestor looked down at the chains, and if the Paragon Ancestor had a face and could speak, he was certain the question..."Really?"... would leave the lips of the Paragon Ancestor.

He smiled at the Paragon Ancestor. "Sorry. But I have to take precautions for any possible scenario."

The Paragon Ancestor stared at him with an even more "blank" expression, and Corey chuckled softly.

He clenched his fist, then the Paragon Ancestor shrunk into a marble.

He threw the marble into his mouth, then he began to go through the Paragon Ancestor's bloodline.

This was much easier for him and he didn't face any difficulties trying to understand the bloodline since he had been a Demi-Paragon for years and the owner of the bloodline was also not against him.

Paragons had several racial traits like Void Phoenix Heart, Tri-Pupil Eyes, Devourer's Stomach, Void Webs, Paragon Claws, and Celestial Mana Veins.

Paragons were a race that seemed to take several body parts of other unique races and made those body parts theirs.

As a Demi-Paragon, he had already unlocked his Void Phoenix Heart, his Celestial Mana Veins, and his Tri-Pupil Eyes.

He still had the Void Webs, the Paragon Claws, and his Devourer's stomach to unlock, but he didn't need to wait till he ascended to a higher Tier to understand how these racial traits worked.

Learning and understanding the abilities of Void Webs, Paragon Claws, and Devourer's Stomach was the easiest part for Corey.

The difficult aspect was trying to understand the most important ability of a Paragon.

The six racial abilities of Paragons were very powerful, but they were not the main reason why Paragons were at the top of the food chain in existence.

As Corey went through the Paragon Ancestor's bloodline, he got to know that the defying ability of Paragons to be resistant to whatever Infinity Crystal they fused with.

There are countless Infinity Crystals in existence, but once a Paragon fuses with an Infinity Crystal, they gain resistance to the element or nature of that Infinity Crystal.

Corey was not new to this. He had the Poison Infinity Crystal, the Water Infinity Crystal, Earth Infinity Crystal, and many other Infinity Crystals.

But because he always fought many enemies that were way above his level and also because he was still a Demi-Paragon, this ability of the Paragons could not shine its light.

However, assuming Corey became a true Paragon, he would have gotten the true terrifying ability of a Paragon to potentially resist everything in existing.

The more Corey went through the Paragon Ancestor's bloodline, the more he realized that Paragons were more and more like... Tanks.

However, they were tanks with immense firepower.

'The Paragon Ancestor might be more of a monster than I thought. If he possesses every Infinity Crystal in existence, nothing could potentially harm him.'

'Then how is the Supreme Ancestor able to battle the Paragon Ancestor who has such a defying and terrifying ability.'
