Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 850: Levels Of Immortality
On the seventh day, Kael stood above the Queen of Queens, looking at her from a pile of bodies formed from her daughters, whom she had spent a lot of time and energy cultivating.
She looked up at Kael with her yellow eyes, flashing a look of unwillingness and understanding. She understood that she had lost everything here.
Although her connection to the Hive mind still gave her evidence of a few more bees flying around, it would never be enough.
Kael could just kill her right now and wait for the next Primordial Bee to be born or she could submit now and continue to make progress in her evolution.
The Calvary that she had been hoping for, the bees in Original Heaven, were probably not going to be coming for a while.
And even if they came, it would have only delayed the inevitable.
Kael had promised that the Hive Heaven would be conquered within a week, and it came to pass.
"I submit, Your Majesty," The shuttle-sized queen of queens said after a few seconds of hesitation.
"Good choice," The All-King said. The stack of golden papers disappeared into countless moats of light that signified the escalation of a matter that was already getting worse.
Kael looked up, no longer putting the Primordial Bee in his eyes. She was there and she belonged to him, that was all that mattered.
Now, Kael was confident in eliminating weakness from the lion race. He could accomplish his goals in this regard with the help of the True Honey.
As Kael gazed at the layers of beeswax that covered the royal brood, the sound of explosions could still be heard.
Even as the lion system started shooting out shocking notifications, they didn’t stop.
[Ding! The Primordial Bee had been subjugated. The Bee System has been established.
Ding! The Law of Nature had been conquered.
Warning: Hive Heaven has been conquered, the Alphaverse is spreading.]
That final message was the nail on the head.
All that Kael and the lions had done in Hive Heaven was literally considered a Conquering Activity.
Bringing Hive Heaven to its knees and suppressing the bees caused a shit load of Conquering Essence to flood the systems, creating waves and loops of reinforced features. Some of the excess Conquering Essence went to the various Lion Kings.
Their Heavenly Beacons could hold separate pools of Conquering Essence, which they could use to enhance themselves; it was nice that all of them now had it.
Besides that, Kael, who was also the Alphaverse, was here.
The Alphaverse had already fully consumed the Leonine Heaven and now it was spreading its invisible influence into Hive Heaven.
With nothing to resist, this should be another launch pad for Kael’s insane quest to conquer the universe.
But things were not going to be so easy from now on.
Not anymore.
*BOOM!*
A massive hole was shattered in the upper east coverage of the Hive Heaven. The sound was so loud that it threatened to burst the ears of everyone who heard it.
The massive hole had traces of the Great Gap at its edges. This was a hole in reality that had been created with pure brute force, one could tell from how the edges looked like the chaotic stitches of a fabric mixed with glass and thorns.
Kael, still standing on top of the pile of dead bees, frowned.
This was...unexpected.
"Jordan, what is it?" Kael asked telepathically,. sending the message into an established channel.
He might have accidentally been thrust into the Mid-Level Immortal stage, but because this was not intentional, his foundation was a bit wonky and he was still nowhere near strong enough to compare his senses with a Supreme Level Immortal.
In fact, Kael, despite being as special as he was, could not think of fighting a High Level Immortal.
The distance between each level of immortality only kept getting wider with each advancement.
The distance in strength between the Low Level and Mid Level was way smaller than the difference between Mid Level and High Level.
A Low Level Immortal, at the very least, should be planetary. Those who were well-trained and knew how to utilize their powers effectively would easily become multi-planetary.
This was Kael when he was a Low Level Immortal Lion in the first few days as an immortal.
Compared to that, a Mid-Level Immortal was at least comparable to a star in full power.
At least, they could be likened to thousands of planets put together.
This also meant that Kael had been fighting against thousands of star-level Seths a few days ago. Although it was not a direct fight, the fact that his clones could do so much damage and even scare Seth away was absurd.
But now that Kael was a mid-level, he discovered why that may have been the case. It wasn’t like Mid Level Immortals like Seth did not have the ability to fight.
They just had to conserve.
Yes.
Conserve.
Kael had almost forgotten that because he had an almost limitless supply of Conquering Essence, he could not relate to others.
Seth did not have that. He was willing to watch as a planet fell on his head, not because he couldn’t dodge it but because it just wasn’t worth it.
This didn’t mean that Seth would have still won against Kael, it just meant that Seth was conserving his energy for something else, something much more important.
Then, the distance between all that power and the High Level Immortal stage was immense because a High Level Immortal was at least comparable to a star system or more than that.
No matter how Kael’s powers were broken, he could not go one-on-one with the might of an entire star system.
Thinking casually through all this while the explosions outside raged, Kael decided that he needed to monitor Seth.
There was just something about that fight that didn’t seem right. Kael could sense the greed and pretense as he fought Seth.
Before now, Kael didn’t think too much about Seth’s actions and backstory, now, he does.
Curiosity could kill cats.
Just then, Jordan replied in the telepathic channel.
"It’s the Ant Republic, the Court of Reincarnation, the Elephant Hosts, and many other factions.
They have all come, All-King. They’re not passing through the wide open gap, but here, Your Majesty."
