Chapter 14: 1

Outside the tower solace was suspended in the air, his hair already turned golden and the light elements in the air fluctuated strongly.

Layton noticed this scene from the experimental room where he was still trying to figure out the manipulation rules of the spirit plane, suddenly the strong light seemed to infect and crowd out almost all other layers in the spirit plane, the cluttered environment in the astral plane suddenly cleared a little showing an abstract figure of a golden lion roaring with its shadow fluctuating strongly, opposite it was a sword that was bright red and red mists oozed out of it, the first thing anyone who looked at it would think of was blood.

‘Boom’

Suddenly a large boom shook outside the noise seemed to travel through the whole world, Layton disconnected from the spirit plane in a hurry and left the room headed to the study where he could watch a projection of what was showing outside.

Solace watched dignifiedly as the space rift opened showing the figure step out, it was Lin Wei the blood killer from the Wu civilization.

‘Those old goats really paid a lot in order to hire a clone of the famous blood killer after me.’ solace thought grudgingly. fre𝑒𝘸𝚎𝚋n૦ѵℯl.c𝒐𝘮

The blood killer was a level 4 powerhouse close to becoming a mythical powerhouse, he had tempered his blood to the extreme and created thousands of clones, he was perpetually immortal unless all his clones were killed as once, he tempered his soul through countless killings and fights so he became a hired killer for various people and wasn’t afraid of being killed because of his immortality.

.....

Lin Wei had a good reputation in the void because he only sent clones that were the same power level of that of his target and there was only one chance for him to kill the target, if the target escaped or survived the attack he would never attack again no matter how huge the price increase was.

Solace had actually been anticipating this attack for a while, it was said that surviving an attack from the blood killer was another important benchmark that proves excellence of monster level geniuses.

Although Solace didn’t look it now he was once a monster level genius but because he offended some people he was conspired against and soon sent to manage this secluded resource plane, the wizard academies here were just a small outpost, students with high potentials had already been sent to the wizard academies real location in other famous planes.

Here the highest power level that could be accommodated was only a level 3 powerhouse and the various energies present in its layers of reality was not high.

Solace was looking forward to the upcoming battle, he had sent out the news he had a genius disciple and would soon be able to apply for another quota of dimensional eroder, those geezers couldn’t sit still, they knew perfectly well that solace had always been able to complete a huge leap after each trip and there was no way to interfere with the dimensional eroder as they didn’t have that much power to influence the wizards councils council’s decision, so they had gritted their teeth and paid a huge price and hired Lin Wei to kill solace, of course they could just kill his apprentice but they still had a little sense of shame and dignity in their hearts and even if they wanted to, Lin Wei wouldn’t stoop so low to attack a new apprentice in the site of a wizard world certified plane, it would just trigger the war that was already on the verge.

Although they had made a lot of calculations what they did not expect was that solace already had everything ready and had already figured out the rune for his next level he just needed enough pressure from an opponent to perform solidification and with his accumulation he wouldn’t just breakthrough to level 3 but would breakthrough to the limit of the level 3.

In the quiet hut next to the castle that was the outpost of the destiny weavers academy Minerva sat in her hut staring at the void, she had already been informed that she should not interfere in Solace’s business although she was the head of the outpost and was a rare born fate witch she still had to follow orders sometimes, of course if she was determined enough she could ignore them but it was totally unnecessary now, in the fate she saw if she intervened she would only make Solace’s situations worse, the only silver lining Solace had was the apprentice he had recently accepted, his apprentice had a unique ability to blur fate making predictions unpredictable, that was why she had sent him to solace when she had noticed him m almost killed by the suffocating amount of fate that had suddenly appeared on the plane.

Minerva knew the apprentice should have encountered something terrifying but she wasn’t interested in prying, any good fate witch knew that sometimes the more you know the faster you die.

Although she has paid a somewhat painful price to save him, she wasn’t distressed because she had a hunch that the boy named Layton was the turning point that could lead fate to an acceptable fate and break the reincarnation and Minerva was always confident in her hunches.
