Wizard World Irregular-Chapter 1118: Ensuring That Their Legacy Would Pass On [Part 1]
Ethan and his team harassed the territories bordering the newly claimed lands they had acquired after the last major war.
His father already gained the notoriety of being a cold-blooded killer, and now, Ethan was added to the list and was even more feared. Not only could he immediately step on the ranks of a Progenitor, but he could also absorb their powers and abilities.
With such a threat hanging over their heads, the factions that had tried to invade the world of Midgard decided to send envoys to discuss a non-aggression pact between their faction and the Defenders of Midgard.
The Progenitors now feared to face Ethan on the battlefield because he only attacked when Aion's time loop could be activated.
What did this mean? It meant that Ethan could kill one to two Progenitors instantly and retreat to safety afterward.
This strategy had driven these factions to the brink of insanity.
Why?
Because no matter how much they tried to set traps to kill Ethan, Aion's time loop always allowed him to return to his previous location before their traps could take effect.
In short, as long as Aion's time loop wasn't in cooldown, Ethan was invincible.
This was why they had no choice but to negotiate and pay compensation to stop the young man's harassment.
Through the span of a few weeks, Ethan had successfully killed five Progenitors from four different factions.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Ethan was now the spear that could pierce through the enemy Ranks and survive after cutting through them like a hot knife through butter.
Dantalion and Dainsleif were equally as notorious as their Master, and both of them now had the strength of Progenitors.
Simply put, Ethan was a one-man army.
Not only did he have tens of thousands of Gargoyles and Fairies under his command, but Sebastian and his Other Half also had the strength of a Colossi.
With all of them fighting side by side, it was really difficult to defend against the young man who could come and go on the battlefield as he pleased.
If not for the fact that Lily would soon give birth to his children, Ethan would have continued his harassment.
But since it was time for him and the others to return to Southshire, he decided to let his Grandfather handle the negotiations between the other factions.
Within the Royal Palace of the City of Atlantis…
Ethan paced back and forth in front of the door of Lily's room, feeling very anxious.
Joanne, who was leaning on the wall, was also tapping her foot on the floor repeatedly.
She had her arms crossed over her chest, and her gaze was locked on the door of Lily's room as if the one about to give birth was her wife instead of her brother's.
Nicole looked at the brother and sister pair with an amused expression on her face, but she didn't say or do anything.
She understood why both of them were feeling that way, so she decided to just watch over the two of them.
"It's been ten hours," Ethan muttered. "Does it really take that long for a mother to give birth?"
"Calm down, son," Seff said with a calm expression on his face. "The first birth is always the longest. Besides, Lily is carrying twins, so the process is even more complicated."
The Beast King had already fathered several children, so he was already used to the waiting game.
However, deep inside, he was also feeling a little anxious because Lily was still young, and it was her first time giving birth.
Also, having twins did make the pregnancy more difficult and riskier compared to normal birth.
However, since Princess Ariel, Chloe, Samantha, Lady Catherine, and the best healer of Caer Wydion were inside the delivery room, the Beast King believed that his grandsons would be born safely.
Ethan's other lovers, except for Nicole, Illumina, and Princess Ramona, were also inside the room, showing their support to Lily, who would be giving birth to Ethan's children before them.
Some of them wanted to observe childbirth as a future reference when it was finally their turn to give birth to their own children.
Illumina, Nicole, and Princess Ramona watched as Ethan paced back and forth anxiously, looking like a soon-to-be Father, who was about to welcome the birth of his sons to the world.
They had tried to ease up Ethan's and Joanne's anxiety earlier.
But no matter how much they tried to decrease their worries, the longer the childbirth became, the more worried the brother and sister pair became.

"Ramona, when you give birth to our baby, I'll be there to support you!" Joanne said as she hugged her best friend, using her as support.
The young lady had already told the Princess that her baby would also be her baby, so she was feeling emotional thinking that her best friend would also suffer the same fate as Lily, when it was her time to give birth to a child.
"Thank you," Princess Ramona replied with an embarrassed smile on her face.
However, since Joanne seemed to be really feeling anxious, she simply hugged her and even asked the younger girl how many babies she wanted to give birth to.
"Three is good," Joanne stated. "I want one boy and two girls. I'll even help you think of names for our babies."
"Three sounds good." Princess Ramona nodded because she found Joanne quite endearing, especially when she spoke about how much she would spoil the babies when they were born.
Just as the two were discussing what kind of names they were planning to give the babies, the sound of a baby's cry spread inside the room.
Ethan felt as if the stone that had been weighing on his heart had finally fallen after hearing his baby's first cry, announcing he had been born safely to the world.
Half a minute later, a second cry of a baby followed, making Seff, who was also waiting with bated breath, finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Joanne, on the other hand, hugged Ramona and started jumping out of joy, making Princess Ramona giggle as she joined her best friend by jumping in place to celebrate the birth of Ethan's children.
