Wizard: Starting from the Skill Tree-Chapter 475: Dark Form
The power contained within the Light Divine Status, so far Duke has only utilized a fragment, a mere drop in the ocean.
After Duke condensed the Light Divine Status into the Crystal Core, he could feel some changes occurring within himself.
These changes were extremely subtle and not yet completely perceivable.
However, Duke could at least confirm one thing: from now on, when learning to master Light Attribute Magic, he almost doesn’t need to spend any time to directly understand and master it.
Previously, Light Attribute Magic, which required repeated learning to master, now seemed almost like an instinct to him.
It’s a very wonderful feeling, clearly because the increase in strength allowed him to utilize more of the Light Divine Status’s power.
As for the Light Divine Status, Light Attribute Magic indeed requires no learning cost.
However, more information needs to be obtained through testing, and Duke speculated that there were likely still rank limitations.
For instance, currently, he is only at Level 1 Crystalization, and probably can’t directly comprehend Level 3 Light Attribute Magic, there’s a slight possibility for Level 2 Light Magic to be directly understood and learned.
"Maybe... it can be like this?" Duke’s heart thought moved slightly, not even deliberately using any spell or magic model, just simply mobilizing the Crystal Core, following a vague intention of dispelling darkness.
The next moment, his palm naturally blossomed with the gentle and pure light of the Holy Light Technique, the stability and purity of the light even surpassed ordinary Secondary Curse Magic.
"Just as expected," Duke confirmed his guess, "For low-level Light Magic, I can almost achieve it with just a thought, eliminating the cumbersome learning and constructing process."
However, no new branches appeared on the Skill Tree, indicating that the casually cast spell wasn’t recognized by the Skill Tree.
Duke felt a bit strange because this spell, by calculation, should at least be a secondary spell; it shouldn’t be too simple not to become a skill.
He speculated that it was likely considered an instinctive behavior, which is why it didn’t appear on the Skill Tree, just like the Skill Tree wouldn’t consider breathing as a skill.
At most, it could be considered a talent ability.
Duke then continued to check his own state and noticed that besides a significant increase in Spiritual Power, all physical attributes also saw a considerable enhancement.
[Constitution: 34.7]
[Strength: 36.2]
[Agility: 33.5]
All of his body’s attributes had risen to over thirty points, whereas previously they were just over twenty.
After Duke became a Level 1 Mage, there wasn’t much increase in body attributes.
For a normal wizard, transitioning from Liquidation to Crystalization, body attributes generally don’t improve much, as this advancement process is essentially just a qualitative change in Spiritual Power.
But this time, Duke’s body attributes had increased significantly, which was highly unusual, as over thirty points of Spiritual Power made him feel his physique becoming stronger, and his strength was extremely potent.
His current body attributes are already close to a First-level Knight, and if he continues to cultivate high-level Light Divine Breathing Technique, he can further improve.
As for why his body would see such a magnitude of enhancement, the only thing Duke could think of was that drop of Blood of the Dark.
Throughout his advancement process, only the bloodline power contained in this could involve the improvement of physical attributes.
Duke turned his attention to the dark red bloodline imprint deep within the Crystal Core, different from the supreme order feel of the Divine Status, this imprint emitted an aura of primitive, noble, seemingly rooted in the ancient abyss’s dominion.
He cautiously extended a wisp of Spiritual Power, like touching a sleeping beast, gently touching the imprint to activate it.
An overwhelming power, cold and scorching, filled with contradiction yet harmonious and unified, roared out from the depths of the Crystal Core like an awakening ancient beast.
Duke’s body issued a low and powerful hum, as if every cell was rejoicing with excitement.
Meanwhile, changes were occurring to his body.
His once deep eyes now transformed into pure black vertical pupils like the finest obsidian, with a faint circle of dark golden halo flowing at the edges.
His gaze swept past, carrying a kind of aloof indifference and majesty, daunting anyone facing it.
The skin surface revealed faintly mysterious dark red magical patterns, seemingly woven from shadow and lava. These lines were not hideous, but filled with ancient and profound beauty, like innate war patterns, gently flickering with his breath, emitting alarming energy fluctuations.
A head of black hair stirred on its own without wind, the tips seemingly dyed with the colors of night, becoming darker and more lustrous, occasionally slicing through air, creating nearly invisible space ripples.
A thin layer of shadowy aura, like burning black flames, naturally enveloped him, mildly distorting the surrounding light, as if existing outside normal space.
Duke sensed the changes in his body, lowered his head, and glanced at his hands.
His hands had become long and powerful, with fingernails transformed into profound dark gold, edges sharp like divine weapons, and with just a light scratch, a subtle tearing sound echoed in the air, with explosive power surging capable of crushing steel flowing through his limbs.
Behind him, he had a pair of wide dark golden wings, the wings seemingly crafted of pure metal, with extremely sharp edges.
At the thought of Duke, his whole being already floated within the laboratory, knowing that as soon as he accelerated, he could soar into the sky at an extremely high speed.
And this speed could even rival the Storm Dragon Eagle, perhaps even faster.
"This is... Bloodline Power!" Duke quickly realized what had happened.
In activating the bloodline imprint on the Crystal Core, he had also activated the bloodline power contained within, that is, the Blood of the Dark bloodline power, directly entering a Dark Form.
However, this state had a notable distinction from those of other bloodline mages, the most significant difference being, the Dark Form wasn’t the main body, but merely some temporary changes to the body.
Those bloodline mages only maintained human form in daily life, and their true form was revealed upon invoking their bloodline power.
But Duke was the opposite; his human form is the true self, and the Dark Form is essentially like using a body transformation spell.
He now stood over three meters tall; his robe had ripped apart, scattered on the ground, revealing a robust body with muscles sculpted to perfection.
"In the future, I can’t just fight like this, bare," just as the thought occurred to Duke, the Blood of the Dark within seemed to hear his command, eliciting a remarkable resonance.
In a flash, the solid shadow flames whirling around him seemed to gain life, converging, compressing, and shaping against his body surface.
A suit of armor, extremely befitting the Dark Form’s aura, filled with a sense of power and dark aesthetics in dark gold, had already encased his body.
