Witty Wife, Better Life-Chapter 841 - 831 Arrangement
Chapter 841: Chapter 831 Arrangement
After coming out of the meeting room, Shen Yunfang directly asked Li Tuo and Zhang Chunwang to follow her back to the office.
Since the plan had been set, the following issues had to be carefully considered. Moreover, not just anyone could film a program; there was a lot of preparation and follow-up work involved.
Acting as the boss, Shen Yunfang, based on the principle of delegating tasks during difficulties, brought her two top subordinates back to the office and started assigning tasks.
"Manager Li, since we’re planning such a program, we obviously can’t shoot it bare-boned. Even if we managed to film it, trying to screen it abroad would be troublesome. Therefore, I think we need to register a film and television company in Hong Kong. It doesn’t have to be big—just enough to ensure our plan proceeds smoothly." Shen Yunfang knew Li Tuo had his roots in Hong Kong and had some connections there, making him the best person for the job.
Li Tuo didn’t make any excuses and immediately nodded in agreement. Hong Kong was quite chaotic now, and setting up a small legal film company with some money wasn’t difficult. "I haven’t worked in this industry before, but it shouldn’t be too hard." In Hong Kong, as long as you have money, anything can be done.
"First, go and find out the details; we can discuss them further later," Shen Yunfang understood the principle that having money made things easier. "Chunwang, you need to get the houses ready that we will use. I’ll give you the blueprints for how the interiors should be set up, just follow the designs exactly."
Shen Yunfang knew people’s tastes nowadays; if he left it entirely up to Zhang Chunwang, it would end up looking like a small courtyard farm in the Northeast. Of course, she wanted that authentic style, but some adjustments were necessary for convenience, like the outdoor toilets.
Zhang Chunwang had no objections; for many years, he had always followed his sister-in-law’s instructions.
"There’s one last issue; we now need to think about which foreign friends to invite to participate in our filming. They don’t need to be very famous—as their appearance fees are too expensive—but they can’t be entirely unknown either, as that wouldn’t have much impact when we release the film. Therefore, we need to carefully choose ahead of time. Also, our host—ideally, they should be able to speak English during the filming, so it would be convenient when the film is broadcast abroad. Of course, just speaking English is not enough; their own presentation must also be decent, as the film will be aired internationally. We also need someone quick-witted to handle emergencies promptly," Shen Yunfang recounted her requirements.
Li Tuo and Zhang Chunwang nodded in agreement, very much in favor of what the boss said.
"Shall we invite a host from Hong Kong?" Li Tuo suggested.
Shen Yunfang considered his proposal, then shook her head to reject it, "The hosts from Hong Kong are too sophisticated and don’t really fit our rural program. Besides, would they be able to use our kitchens here? Could they cook authentic ZG cuisine?" The thought of those hosts standing in her farmyard, wearing aprons and holding a spatula at the stove, just didn’t fit.
"That’s right. They often cook steaks and such, which the foreigners already eat every day. It would be boring to make those here," Zhang Chunwang also disagreed. "I think we still need to find someone local."
"This task is yours. Take your time and find the right person. Be sure to find someone within a month," Shen Yunfang directly assigned this task to Zhang Chunwang.
Hearing the task was his responsibility, Zhang Chunwang was a bit stunned. The people he knew were all local women who worked in the fields daily, so where would he find a young, beautiful girl who could speak English?
With the decisions made, everyone then went about their own business.
After delegating the tasks, Shen Yunfang grabbed her purse, drove home, and wondered if her two little rascals had caused chaos at home since she hadn’t been back all afternoon. She hoped no one would come to her house to complain in the evening.
After dinner, Manman threw down his chopsticks and tried to run outside.
Shen Yunfang, quick as a flash, snatched the escaping figure. "Don’t you run off just yet, it’s your turn to clear the table today. You can’t go out to play until your chores are done."
Since the children had grown up, Shen Yunfang no longer took on all the household chores by herself. She divided simple tasks between her two children, and according to their completion each week, gave them a certain amount of pocket money.
"And have you finished your homework?"
"I finished it a long time ago. I did it at school." Pangpang, pinned in his seat by his mom, dared not resist and could only stare at his sister, who was eating like a little kitten, and said, "Hurry up and eat. I’m still waiting to clean up."
Manman glanced at her brother and pouted. "Are you going to take me with you? If you take me, I’ll finish eating right away. If not, I might eat for another half an hour."
Pangpang glared at her. "Why don’t you go play with the little girls instead of following me?"
"I don’t want to play with them at all. They’re all so delicate, crying over a caterpillar." Manman had entirely taken on the persona of a little tomboy.
"Then eat quickly. Otherwise, it’ll get dark, and Mom won’t let us go out." Pangpang, sitting in his seat, was scratching his head in impatience but could not shirk his responsibilities.
Hearing her brother agree to take her, Manman immediately put down her chopsticks and shouted, "I’ve finished eating."
"Great, hurry up and clean up." Seeing his sister had stopped eating, Pangpang quickly glanced at his mother. Seeing no reaction from her, he swiftly began picking up the bowls and chopsticks.
Manman, wanting to play with her brother, also helped pick up the chopsticks. In a few minutes, the two children had cleaned everything up, said a quick word to Shen Yunfang, and dashed out to find their friends.
Shen Yunfang just sat there, watching the siblings connive without any intention of stopping them. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
She and Li Hongjun had already agreed on their children’s education policy. They weren’t demanding about academic performance; it was all up to the children’s abilities. What they learn and what hobbies they pursue were entirely up to them. They were responsible for funding, but there was one rule: once they chose something, they had to stick with it. The main priorities were good health and good character.
These aspects were something Li Hongjun could handle. Every winter and summer vacation, he took the kids to the military camp. It was no place for misaligned children; they were bound to straighten up there. Moreover, seeing his own children’s physique, it was clear that the camp taught them not only how to behave but also how to build strong bodies.
Watching her children be happy every day, Shen Yunfang felt that this was better than anything.
After the house quieted down, she went to the kitchen to clean up. She hadn’t even finished washing a few bowls when the phone started ringing.
"Hello..."
"Second sister-in-law, please help me. I really can’t cope anymore. If you and second brother don’t help me, I won’t be able to live..."
Shen Yunfang rolled her eyes while holding the receiver. Here we go again. It had been half a year, and Li Xianghe just couldn’t change her tune.
