Whirlwind Marriage: My Possessive CEO's Undying Pampering-Chapter 830 - 829: The Bitterness of Breaking Up (3)
Lucas Knight crossed the banquet hall and went up to the third floor. This floor was only accessible to the Family Head, and tonight he planned to stay here.
However, feeling irritable and restless, he had no intention of sleeping.
Instead, he lit a top-quality Saint Laurent cigar, held it between his thin lips, and took a few puffs.
"Crown Prince, would you like something to eat?" Harry North stood beside him, trembling as he asked.
The handsome man sat in the main seat, his deep, slender phoenix eyes filled with a gentle anger as he looked towards Harry.
For some reason, Harry felt a chill run down his spine as his master looked at him!
What’s going on?
The Crown Prince was heartbroken; why was he treating him like an enemy?
"Master... I’ll take my leave now." Harry didn’t dare to stay any longer, fearing Lucas Knight would devour him. He originally intended to persuade his master, but to no avail. Who knew things would come to this, and the master wasn’t joking this time.
Having followed him for so many years, Harry could perceive this much.
Sensibly, he retreated!
Just as he got downstairs, he ran into Alexander Kingsley at the stairway corner, the other dressed impeccably, exuding authority.
"Admiral, why are you here so late?"
"To see the Crown Prince," Alexander replied. Actually, it was too late for a visit, but considering the fact they hadn’t seen each other for over half a month, Alexander had to come look for him, originally intending to tease him.
But Alexander quickly noticed Harry was sweating profusely?
"Harry, did something happen?" Alexander asked seriously.
Harry didn’t dare to say more, just muttered, "The Crown Prince is in a bad mood." After speaking, Harry withdrew, not daring to say too much. He certainly couldn’t say his master had lost love and lost his lady, right?
After all, his master had to maintain face!
Alexander perceived the gravity of the situation from Harry’s words and didn’t dare to disturb, planning to let the master calm down.
Thus, Alexander returned downstairs and sat in the banquet hall, drinking.

Eastern Europe.
Eva Nightingale had not seen a trace of him for two whole days.
At this moment, holding a plate of osmanthus cakes, she ate them as if chewing wax.
No matter what she ate, everything seemed tasteless.
Her eyes brimmed with tears, a wave of nausea swelling in her chest, damn it, the morning sickness returned...
She immediately put down what she was holding and dashed to the bathroom, retching over the sink.
It had been a long time since she had experienced such morning sickness.
Perhaps it was the breakup that night that suddenly upset her, hence... the morning sickness was back!
"Lucas Knight, are you a bastard!"
"You’re a complete bastard!"
Sob. It’s been two days, and he still hasn’t come to comfort her. If he doesn’t come soon, she’ll really ignore him, completely, utterly break up with him.
In the past, whenever they fought, he would quickly come back to coax her, trailing behind her, impervious to her scolding.
This time she hadn’t even scolded him, and yet he left!
"Miss, are you alright?" The maid walked over with concern, "Oh dear, that day the doctor told me you’re pregnant with twins, you shouldn’t keep getting angry, it’s not good."
"Miss, calm down." The maid consoled her, "I’ll go upstairs and find something sour for you to suck on to ease it."
Soon, the maid returned with a plate of sour plums, handing them to Eva.
After freshening up, Eva’s face was somewhat pale. She took two sour plums and placed them in her mouth, as the maid said caringly, "Miss, you’re still young and not even married... now with this big belly, it’s truly hard for you!"
