What Do You Mean I'm The Captain Of A Yandere Mercenary Company?-Chapter 479: Someone’s Mixing Here
We left the dead pirates where they were and went back to the lift.
No, we're not going directly to the lowest floor yet since I don't think we were properly prepared for it right now.
We're not going to just charge blindly into a place where there are at least three hundred enemies where they have the home ground advantage.
Sure, Amber and Mara could possibly make short work of them but that also comes at the risk of blowing the station up and I'd like to avoid that if possible.
That's also not mentioning the risk of revealing the fact that they are Psionics and gain unwanted attention on our crew.
Anyway… It's not like those pirates are going anywhere in the first place and this event was just their attempt at trying to rob a place but failing miserably at it.

I'm guessing it's most likely some overly zealous new recruits trying to prove themselves by rounding up a few people to do something big. But then they got too complacent and fucked it up.
Now that we know where they were, all we have to do is just make our preparations to deal with them.
Heck, we might not even need to attack them directly if we can figure out their leader's schedule and just take that map data chip off of him without needing to fight off his entire gang.
Or if that wasn't possible, then we might be able to find some floorplan of their base and maybe figure out how to sneak in there to steal that map data chip.
Storming through the front doors should only be our last resort if there really isn't any other way to do it.
Putting that aside for now, we ended up going with Amber's initial suggestion, with that being eating out today.
I then quickly realised that what she really meant for that was to go to one of the bars to drink instead…
She must have also searched for the bar in question ahead of time because she brought us up a few floors before heading directly down a street like she had been here before.
Eventually, we came to a particular building that had neon lights all around its exterior while loud music blasted from the inside. There was also a large crowd that was queuing up at the door, most likely patrons looking to enter that building.
"I thought we were headed to a bar… This is a club," I pointed out as I looked up at the building with the big glowing sign that read 'Intiago Rave Club' at the front.
"Well, there's a bar inside the club isn't there? Ehehehe~"
Right… As long as there's nothing weird about the club I suppose… No wonder Amber wanted to 'eat outside'. She wasn't looking for the food, she was looking for the atmosphere.
Amber puffed up her chest proudly, "I searched up the place and apparently this place is the place to go to let yourself loose!"
Mara turned to eye her, "Isn't there a better place on the higher floors?"
Not gonna lie, I'm with Mara on this… This place was located just one ring above the previous ring we were on and while it seems like the public security and general cleanliness was better… The fact that they didn't disarm us was quite telling.
For reference, this is four rings above the lowest level and four rings below the highest so it was quite literally the 'average' of the station.
And if the average was already like this… Couldn't we just go to one of the higher rings where we don't need to worry about people suddenly shooting each other instead?
Amber turned back to grin at her, "Oh you don't know about this eh? Watch~"
She lifted up her personal terminal and navigated to a window where she started playing what seemed like a video that was uploaded as an advertisement.
In the video, the camera first shows a wide shot of the neon building before zooming in through the entrance to show the interior.
As I had thought, this was a club so the first thing that we saw after the camera pans into the main area was a giant dance floor with flashing lights and loud music.
It then transitions to another area and I realised this was the bar where they showcased the seating area before moving towards the bar counter itself.
While the entire place seemed to have been emptied out just for this ad, the part of the video where they showed the bar had people in it and there was a female bartender standing behind the counter.
The camera first zooms in on a cocktail shaker and I realised where this was going before it even started.
The scene pans out to show her holding two bottles in her hands before she throws one up into the air from behind her back and then catching it in between her fingers by the bottle's neck with her other hand.
She then tilts the bottles towards the shaker and pours in both liquids at the same time to fill it up before she tossed the bottles up again to catch them and place them back behind the counter.
She then covers the shaker before throwing it up and catching it to start shaking on it, her bosoms bouncing up and down hypnotically from that action.
That wasn't even what drew my attention because two more arms suddenly sprouted from her back where she used them to grab a glass with one hand and pour in some ice with the other, placing the glass in front of her.
She then popped open the shaker with her first two hands before pouring the resulting mixture into the glass, revealing it to be a liquid that had a multitude of colours and seemed to even be glowing as well.
The four armed woman then finished it off by turning off the lights to show that the liquid was indeed glowing beautifully on the counter before Amber paused the video.
"Cool right?!" Amber grinned proudly. "Her name's Valiea Mestile. From what I've read, she's known around here for being able to mix drinks herself instead of relying on machines and the performances she puts up when mixing drinks!"
Well… I have to admit that now I'm interested.
I'm certainly not a mixologist and the beers I mixed were literally just me trying them out and figuring which ones might mix together better to create them, not because I actually have a perfect understanding of the actual taste or composition of those beers.
What's more, I don't think I can flair as well as she could and also, the clearest difference of all, I don't have four arms.
"I think we can go and check it out?" I agreed, feeling interested.
Amber grinned, "Ehehe~ I knew you would be interested! Let's go then!"
Lea then looked pointedly at the crowd in front of the building, "I think that's the queue to get in, Amber…"
She spun back and, indeed, it does seem like there's a pretty long queue to get in there…
I think it might even take us an hour before we're even allowed in since the queue extended all the way down the street…
Amber huffed, "I'm sure we can find some way to enter it without needing to queue up!"
Err… Is she suggesting that we sneak in or something?
Before I could ask, she already turned towards the entrance and started strutting towards it.
Wait, we're going straight in?
The rest of us followed alongside her and I could see the entrance being guarded by several tough looking security who were keeping everyone in line.
One of the bigger sized ones immediately saw us approaching and already moved to intercept us.
"Lines over there if you're looking to enter."
Amber huffed, "Isn't there another way that we can enter without needing to queue up?"
"No," The guy answered immediately.
"Not even if we were to pay you for your drinks tonight and maybe for the entire week?"
Really Amber? Your plan was to bribe them to get in?
The guy didn't even pause before replying, "No."
Amber frowned, "Come on, we're just here to see if that Valiea is supposed to be as good as you guys say she is or we could just be drinking our own mixes instead of wasting time here!"
I was expecting the guy to tell Amber off again but he paused and narrowed his eyes at her, "Are you here as a challenger then?"
Amber blinked, "Challenger?"
"You don't even know? Valiea has an open challenge for other mixers to compete with her in making alcohol. If you're here for that then yes, I can let you in without the queue."
Amber immediately turned around and grinned at me.
…
Fine, fine… I'll do it… I don't want to queue up either but don't expect me to win ok? All I have to do is just throw a couple of beers together right? There better not be a penalty for losing…
