Before they attack the Nergui tribe, they were already briefed of the Nergui tribe use of poisons.

So, Belarion brought Ashana and other herbs master along with him in this campaign

The Ashnaa knows the most about herbs and how to counter poison.

Belarion reminded all of the commander in the tent that they should always be vigilant.

Now, that most of the elite forces of Nergui is here, there would surely be a change of pace in the battle and certain strategy and tactics that the Nergui could not do before could now be used with more people on their side.
