There is five main force that has been established from the moment Aeryon chooses to go to the west.

And then.....there is Belarion.

Belarion right now is around one of the large settlements of the Nergui tribe. They have gathered beforehand and reinforcement come quickly and they have been battling for some days.

Belarion did not enter the battle for three days. Both of them are still in testing mode. And around Belarion there

Belarion did not immediately rush to fight against the Nergui tribe. Because unlike before, Belarion has also learn to grow

Around him, there is people like Xiwanu, Lughan, Cahya, Chulun and Mu Cha

These people are instrumental in Belarion effort in pacifying Wustkazan and persuading those tribes that once loyal to Wustkazan to believe in his sworn brother and his governance.

If in the past Belarion only knows how to fight, now that he had learn to sit down and contemplate on things, the so-called appearance of the oaf could no longer be used to describe him

There isa lot to learn and only then Belarion knows how complicated certain matters is. Aeryon if he could see Belarion growth, he would be more than shocked.

Innate strength

This is what people said about those who were born under such fate. As long as they could go into adulthood, they could be great generals and great men in history

But it is almost like the heavens envied them that most innate person died before they could grow, or they were warped by their experience that they rarely die old.

There is however a misconception of innate strength by many people. Since the name basically said it is innate strength, most people equate that strength means physical prowess and overwhelming physique.

He was not brought into the tribe to become a slave for fighting and Rakarys never had raised Belarion to become a fighter.

He teaches him grand principle of life. Do good, refrain from evil but do not let others take advantage of you.

The common sense of people

And even though Belarion never learn everything Rakarys had to teach, he has someone else to make sure that he never gets taken advantage of and that was Aeryon

Rakarys from the moment he brought Belarion into the tribe of Brolgadhr had never let this young person to be exploited.

Belarion is an anomaly among those who were born with innate strength in the Steppe

All tribes that have such a person among them would train them to become warriors and baptize them with blood. Hence, most people of innate strength have quite the bloodlust and how could such a boy born under such circumstances have healthy mindset?

If you live among beast, and you were treated like a beast, will your mind turn into a human or into beast?

The answer is already there.

But Belarion was doted upon by the chief, and even though the Elders feared him when he was a child because of his strength because of how the chief treated him, the tribe accepted him and just as Aeryon was treated like the grandchild of everyone, so is Belarion who is like a brother to Aeryon

Aeryon insistence on treating his elders like his grandparents is because he truly felt love from his tribe. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

And so, he respects his elders from his heart. It was not just a ploy to wins hearts and minds, but he was truly grateful for the support of his elders and the love they shower him

And that is even more so for Belarion.

He was already a simple child.

Those who treated him well, and those who treated him badly, he knows it instinctively

Showered with love and not curses, watched over like family and not like some beast that needs to be feared, Belarion lives a life that is envied even among common people

Belarion does not understand things like establishing kingdom, fighting for hegemony, intrigues and plots of the court

He only understood simple concept. Those who he loves, those who loves him, those who hates him, the simple divide of right and wrong

When Aeryon ask him to fight, he did not ask why. He would just obey. The ones that his brother ask to fight must be a bad guy

Belarion however had learn much and he also begins to learn these new concepts that have been foreign for him for almost all of his life.

Other people who were born with innate strength, would find it hard to accept new concepts like these.

The power of those who were born with innate strength did not only come from their body but from their minds

A warped mind produces a beast. A good mindset nurtures a protector. And Belarion is the kind of person who has been raised with a good mind

That Belarion is now a great general worthy of commanding ten thousand men. Commanding ten thousand men is not easy but Aeryon had already created a system and this system is effective

and Belarion himself is a fast learner.

And even though Belarion main attack, his point of strength against others has always been his bravery in the battlefield, it was almost like he has an eye that could see through the gaps and attack where the enemy is the weakest.

This could only be explained by natural talent

He knew when to retreat and when to come back, his maneuvering of the horse is like using his own hands and feet, and when he attacks, he is like the whirlwind.

Belarion right now is in the war tent. He is looking outside the tent. The curtain of the tent is opened, and the cold wind of the night enter the tent

Some people do not like the cold. But Belarion is different. He likes the cold.

It makes him think better.

For a moment he looks outside of his war tent to the distance

there are hundreds of tents and there are bonfires that could be seen from this tent. The war tent is situated in a raised terrain making him able to see clearly his own camp

They have garrisoned here and been fighting the Nergui tribe for quite some time.

There were a few detachments that fight against Belarion and Belarion army had crushed them

However, all of this is small victory.

It did not change anything in the scheme of things. It did not help his sworn brother on the south and it the front while it seems it is moving; the very nature of the plains make it different from warfare in Yan

In the Steppe, night attack, raids and surprise attack is the norm. the mode of attack, the rules of engagement and the way they fight is different from the way they attack Yan and the mountain tribes

Their attack is fast and the way they lose and win also different

Just as the Nergui tries to catch him unaware, he also did the same. Belarion crushed all those detachments, but not all Nergui army return without winning

Those who is led by other have their own fair share of losing and winning. Belarion did not mind that his subordinate loses a battle

After all, none of this is the real battle yet. They are now just probing each other, testing and investigating each other
