Wasting Money to Become an Immortal-Chapter 67: Oops I dropped it
That was all he said before falling silent with a difficult look on his face.
It was as if he was struggling to say his next words even though it was clear that he knew what he wanted to say.
It was as if there was a part of him that didn’t want to say it.
Seeing this, Liu Ao Xue gave a cough and then nudged him with her shoulder.
When he felt this, Liu Han gave a sigh before saying, "It’s like this..."
He then gave a brief summary of what the situation was, but there were things that he left out.
Instead of saying that this was for the sect’s Great Elder, he said that this was for Liu Ao Xue’s grandfather.
Though Liu Ao Xue didn’t mind since the Great Elder was like her grandfather in the first place. That was how he had treated her since she was a child and that was how she thought of him.
When he finished, Liu Han said, "Do you have more of this Nine Lives Grass?"
I slightly knitted my brows when he finished saying this.
I didn’t knit my brows because it was hard for me to take out the Nine Lives Grass, rather it was hard for me when he directly asked me for it like this.
If I just gave it to him after he asked me for it, it wouldn’t be considered prodigal behaviour since it was using it to help someone that actually needed it. It wouldn’t be considered wasting this Nine Lives Grass.
If he had asked me in any other way, then it would have been easier for me to give it to him.
But since he asked me like this, I had to figure out another way to give it to him.
In the end, I was still going to give him the Nine Lives Grass since I could see the worried look that was on Liu Ao Xue’s face.
For this master of mine to be this worried, I knew that it had to be serious.
In that case, I wouldn’t hesitate to help her solve this problem.
Still, if I could prevent myself from losing points, I would do what I could to stop myself from losing points.
This would require a bit of acting on my part.
"Ke, ke." With a cough, I said, "I do have more of this, but you see...it’s not something that can be given that easily."
Liu Han had a difficult look on his face before looking at the tea that was on the table and revealing a look of doubt, like he didn’t believe my words.
I knew that it was hard for someone to believe my words when I wasted it making tea like this, but I had my own circumstances.
So I just kept pretending by saying, "It was given to me by someone else to waste it, so I can’t just give it to others that easily. It has to be done in a manner that is considered wasteful, if you understand what I mean."
Liu Han didn’t know me as well, so he just slapped the table and said, "You prodigal! Is wasting money the only thing that is important to you!"
I looked him right in the eyes and said with a serious look, "Wasting money is the only thing that matters to me. I am a prodigal among prodigals who will waste all the money that I have no matter what!"
This might have been considered a cool declaration if only the content wasn’t that strange...
When they heard this, all of them couldn’t help revealing looks like they didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
But at the very least, Liu Ao Xue and Elder Tian who knew Lin Fan a bit better understood what he was trying to say. He was saying that he had his own circumstances and he couldn’t give up these things that easily unless it was in a certain way.
He was basically asking them to understand his situation.
I took out a bunch of Nine Lives Grass, all of the Nine Lives Grass that was being sold in the daily store.
When I pulled all of this Nine Lives Grass out, everyone looked at me with shocked looks.
The reason why I bought everything was because I had no idea how much was needed to help Liu Ao Xue’s grandfather, so I was just planning on giving them everything just in case.
After bringing out all of these pieces of Nine Lives Grass, the air in the room immediately became much more clear. It was as if there was something that was purifying the air inside of the room.
This was the pure nature spiritual energy that came from the Nine Lives Grass filling the room, which felt like it was purifying the air in the room.
Though breathing this spiritual energy did help one’s cultivation.
The lackeys could already feel their cultivations increasing just by being in this room.
Even Liu Han and Elder Tian recognized that being in this place was similar to being in the special cultivation rooms in the main sect. Those rooms were special rooms that had been created by the ancestors to gather spiritual energy which would help the cultivation of the disciples.
These were special rooms that could only be used when one had performed merit for the sect.
However, these Nine Lives Grass gathered together like this had the same effect as the special cultivation rooms. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
That just went to show how special these Nine Lives Grass were.
Liu Han revealed a touched look when he saw how many pieces of Nine Lives Grass Lin Fan took out, but that look didn’t remain on his face for long.
That was because instead of handing it over to him, Lin Fan did something else.
I suddenly threw down all of the pieces of the Nine Lives Grass that I had been holding before saying, "Oops, I dropped them all."
