I was caught off guard by the sudden voice of the system, but I quickly took a look at what it was referring to.

It had opened up the store for me and was currently highlighting one of the items that were there.

This was an item that I had ignored because of how expensive it was, but now the system was telling me to get it...

It was an array that would allow one to go from one place to another instantly, so she would be able to come back and forth from the sect and the city without a problem.

A faint smile appeared on my lips when I heard this to the surprise and confusion of everyone else.

They were looking at me with concerned looks like I had gone crazy, but I just ignored them as I focused on the system.

"How about just giving it to me for free?"

The system responded right away with, "92%."

"Free." I immediately responded with.

"93%."

It seemed that the system just would not relent, but this was more than enough to show that it was self aware since it was able to negotiate with me on the price. This would be very useful information for the future.

As I was about to say "free" again, the system suddenly said, "Host, the system does not have the authority to give items from the store for free."

I was surprised by how blunt the system was suddenly being, but this was also to my advantage.

Since the system was willing to admit this, it meant that the system was willing to negotiate with me.

In that case...

"How much of a discount can you give?"

The system was silent for a bit before slowly saying, "99%."

Another smile crept onto my face to the concern of everyone around me before I said, "Alright, then give me that 99% discount."

The system gave a sigh before it said, "The reward has been given to the host."

I gave a satisfied nod, but I didn’t buy the Transport Array right away.

Instead, I came out of my thoughts and looked up at Lin Li Zi.

But when I did, I found that everyone around me was looking at me with concerned looks that surprised me. I didn’t understand what was happening, but it looked like they were looking at me like I had gone crazy.

Gao Fu Shuai was the one that asked, "Young master, are you alright? You were smiling and nodding to yourself just now..."

I immediately realized why they were looking at me like this when I heard this.

I had forgotten to control myself when I was talking to the system...so for those that couldn’t hear the system, they thought that I was just talking to myself.

Anyone that saw someone like that would think that person was crazy.

With an awkward smile, I waved my hand and said, "I’m fine, don’t worry about it."

They still looked at me with looks of doubt when they heard this, but there was nothing that I could do about this.

So I just looked at Lin Li Zi again and asked, "How important is this to you?"

She was surprised to hear me suddenly ask this, but then she revealed a serious look as she said with a nod, "This is very important to me. This is what will help me in the future."

Seeing her look at me like this, I could only give a sigh before saying, "Well, it’s not as if there isn’t a way for you to do this. It’s just that I do have some rules."

Lin Li Zi’s eyes lit up when she heard this.

She jumped up out of her seat and ran over to hug me before saying, "Big brother is the best."

I patted her on the head with a smile before saying, "As long as you’re happy."

I gave a nod before opening up the store to exchange for the item.

Then I pulled out the items that were needed to set up the Transport Array before saying, "As long as I set up this Transport Array, you can go from this store and the sect at any time."

"Transport Array?!" Liu Ao Xue said with a shocked look on her face.
