The 3D map showed that there was a system of caves that were currently under our feet and it was where the target that I was looking for was hiding.

Though I was seeing the 3D map in front of me, I couldn’t help being surprised by how the system had made it.

So I had to ask, "Do you have a satellite or some kind of sonar?"

After all, it was strange how the system was able to generate 2D and 3D maps so easily. Unless it owned these things, it would have been very hard for it to create such maps.

Though...it was a system that was created with the power of god...

It was hard to imagine just how much power a god would have.

From the viewpoint of a normal person like me, it was hard to imagine that god would exist. If it wasn’t for the fact that I had been pulled into another world by a god, then I never would have known that gods existed.

So even with my knowledge of cultivation, it was hard to imagine just what kind of power gods would have.

"Partner, the system just used spiritual sense."

"Spiritual sense?" I couldn’t help asking.

I already had an idea of what spiritual sense was since this was something that I possessed as well. Once one reached a certain level of cultivation, they would be able to develop spiritual sense, which is what I had.

This was a location that was a decent distance from where we were before and in front of us was a hole that seemed to lead into the ground.

When we looked down, it didn’t seem like we could see the bottom of this hole.

I didn’t let any of the beasts jump down even though some of them seemed like they wanted to. Instead, I pulled out a match and lit it before throwing it down into the hole.

This was the most important thing to test since it would tell if we would be able to go into the hole or not.

As the match fell, we were able to see the surroundings of the hole. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Once the match fell to a certain point, it suddenly bounced up and down before stopping. It seemed that this was where the floor of this hole was and it didn’t seem like it was that deep.

The flame of the match continued burning for a bit before it suddenly went out.

It wasn’t because oxygen had run out, but because the match had run out of material to burn. The match was only so big, so it could only burn for so long, but the fact that it had burnt this long meant that there was abundant oxygen down in that hole.

At the same time, it didn’t seem like there were any strange gases that were in the air since they didn’t react to the flame that had been dropped.

It seemed that this place should be safe for us to enter.

But of course, I didn’t dare let my guard down.

With a snap of my fingers, there were several flames that suddenly appeared around us. These were flames that were created with my law energy, so as long as I had energy, they wouldn’t run out.

With these flames around us, we jumped down into the hole.

The three beasts spread out around me as if they were prepared for anything that would come in our direction, but there was nothing that appeared.

The only reaction that happened were a few sounds from around us.

These were strange sounds that were coming from around us.

It was almost as if there were small things that were skittering along the walls, but when I looked closely at the walls around us, it didn’t seem like there was anything.

Well, other than what seemed to be a few small holes, but those were normal in caves.

It didn’t seem like there was anything wrong with this place at all, that was until we suddenly landed on the ground.

As soon as we landed, the sounds suddenly became much louder.

It was as if they were reacting to the sound that we made when we landed in the cave.

The moment that we landed, there was a sudden burst of these skittering sounds all around us. It was as if there were thousands of things that were there.

When I raised the flames and increased their intensity, I saw what was making those sounds.

Thousands upon thousands of bugs were crawling on the walls all around us.

This cave wasn’t that big, but the match from before was far from being bright enough to light it up. When I used the flames to light up the cave, we were able to see everything that was around us.

It wasn’t just a single type of insect that was crawling on the walls, there were many different kinds of insects that were there.

The one good thing was that it seemed like they were avoiding the light.

The insects that felt the light fall onto them started to move away from the light and hide back in the darkness.

But even though they disappeared from the light, I could tell that they were still there.

With my senses, I could tell that they completely surrounded us once they left the range of the light from the flame.

It was clear that there was something that was compelling them to watch over us.

It made it very clear just what kind of enemy we were facing.
