This woman was Bing Xin’s mother.

Once she came over, she just stood there by Bing Xin’s side, looking down at Family Head Shan and Fourth Master Shan.

Fourth Master Shan couldn’t help slightly knitting his brows when he saw the interaction between the two of them, but he quickly recovered the smile that had been on his face as he looked at Bing Xin’s mother.

Bing Xin’s mother just had a strange look on her face as she looked at Fourth Master Shan in silence for a bit.

But after a moment of silence, she suddenly took a deep breath and asked, "Did you ever truly love me?"

Fourth Master Shan was surprised to hear this since this wasn’t the question that he had been expecting to be asked, but then he revealed a confident smile.
