I stood up to the surprise of the lackeys and Elder Tian and headed out the door of the restaurant.

Seeing me go out like this certainly caught them off guard, but they still followed me in the end with even more confused looks as they had no idea what I was planning to do.

So it could be understood why these men were so adamant about this matter.

I stepped forward and walked over in between the girl in the ground and the rough looking men who were surrounding her.

They were completely caught off guard by my sudden appearance that the rough looking men weren’t able to react in time to my appearance. They just watched as I walked up in front of them and stood there.

After a moment of silence, one of them who was holding a piece of paper said, "Who are you? What do you think you’re doing?"

I just looked at him with a smile as I said, "It seems like there’s some kind of misunderstanding here. How about we talk about it and see if we can solve this?"

The leader of these thugs looked at me in disbelief as if he couldn’t understand the words that I had just said. But in the end, he gave a snort and said, "There’s no misunderstanding. Beat it or we won’t show you any mercy."

His first instinct had been to beat up this kid who had appeared out of nowhere.

Even though he was a bit handsome, he didn’t seem like he was an important person.

So he didn’t want to waste his time with him.

But the leader of the thugs felt a strange feeling coming from this person which was why he told him to scram instead of having his men beat him up. He didn’t know what this feeling was, but it told him that it would be better to get rid of this handsome kid instead of causing more trouble.

But to his dismay, I didn’t move.

I just stood there with a smile on my face as I said, "How much does she owe you?"

"Young master, what are you..." Before the girl on the ground could finish what she was about to say, I turned around and put my finger to my lip to stop her.

The leader of the thugs narrowed his eyes to look at me before saying, "You think that you’re some kind of hero? Or do you actually think that you can pay for her? It’s not an amount that someone like you can afford.

I just simply said with a shrug, "Just tell me how much it is already. I don’t have that much time to waste."

The leader of the thugs revealed a frown when he heard this, but he raised his hands to stop the rest of his men from doing something. The feeling that he had felt before was even stronger now.

It was as if it was telling him to get out of here while he could...

He didn’t understand that feeling, especially since the other side was just some arrogant handsome kid, but he couldn’t ignore it.

So for now, the leader of the thugs wanted to see where this would go.

The thugs nodded in agreement when they heard what their leader said.

At the same time, the thugs suddenly pulled out their weapons which made everyone step back. The crowd could tell that something was about to happen, so they were all getting ready to run when it happened.

During this, the thugs started moving to surround me with those weapons in hand.

It was as if they were preparing to completely cut off all routes of escape for me.

The pretty girl who was behind me looked at me with a worried look as she squeezed my arm.

It was as if she was telling me to get out of here while I still could.

But even with all of this, I just had a calm smile on my face as I looked at the leader of the thugs and said, "Sure, take some more money."

After that, I waved my hand and threw out another four hundred spirit stones.
