Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 203 - 202: My Brother’s Secrets Run Deep
Bea couldn’t help but laugh when she saw this, "Are you often mistaken for a minor? Tsk tsk, I never thought my brother was hiding it so well. He actually likes this type."
"Huh?" Bella Acker blushed and asked tentatively, "Bella, do you really think Damian likes me?"
"What else?" Bea rolled her eyes, "Let me tell you. Before you came along, my brother pampered me the most. But after you showed up, he’s been so blinded by love that he’s forgotten all about me."
"I... I’m sorry." Bella Acker apologized, her face flushing red, but inside she felt a sweet delight, like honey had spilled over.
So it turns out it wasn’t just unrequited love; Damian truly likes her!
What to do! She wants to see him even more now!
Her emotions churned inside her, like a cat scratching, both itchy and urgent, incredibly impatient.
She wanted to see him immediately, wanted to hug him, wanted to kiss him, wanted to apologize, wanted to tell him that it wasn’t that she didn’t want the child...
All the accumulated pains and longing she wanted to tell him right away!
She misses him, she misses him every single day!
"You light up at the mention of my brother; I can’t take this. Let’s go."
Bella Acker giggled and quickly followed her.
The two drove straight back to Creston from the photography base; by the time they left, it was almost one in the afternoon, and they arrived in Creston just after four, nearly five.
Bea parked the car directly outside The Seraphina Garden, saying, "I’ve reserved a booth. Just go inside and give them my name, and the waiter will take you there."
"Huh? What about you?" Bella Acker was stunned; wasn’t she going in as well?
"Are you nuts? At a time like this, how could I possibly be the third wheel? Here’s my phone number; remember to call me with the news once you’ve made up." Bea handed over a purple name card adorned with rose edges, smiling.
"I left my phone at the film set. I’ll call you as soon as I go back. Bella, thank you." Bella Acker took the card gratefully, saying, "If you hadn’t come looking for me today, I might have continued to misunderstand Damian, and then we..."
"Alright, alright, stop dawdling. My brother should be arriving soon; go on inside!" Bea hurried her off the car, waved her hand, and then drove off on her own, with great flair.
Bella Acker really envied and admired people like Bea. But her nature wasn’t that carefree; she could never do that.
She put away the name card in her hand, took a deep breath, and then turned to walk into The Seraphina Garden.
A maid dressed in a Chinese cheongsam saw her, smiled, and politely asked, "Miss, do you have a reservation?"
"I do." Bella Acker nodded, "The booth reserved by Blythe Sinclair."
"Ah, a friend of Miss Sinclair’s, right this way." The maid smiled, extended her hand in an inviting gesture, and walked ahead as a guide.
The Seraphina Garden had a total of ten booths and only served ten tables of guests each day. Normally, one would need to book at least a month in advance to get a spot here, so it seemed unlikely that Bea could reserve a booth with just a call today.
But there are always exceptions. When the manager learned Bea was part of The Sinclair Family, he didn’t hesitate to free up a booth for her.
The maid led Bella Acker all the way to the outside of the booth. "This is the booth booked by First Miss Sinclair, please."
"Okay, thank you." Bella Acker nodded in gratitude before entering the booth.
