Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 202 - 201: Damian Isn’t That Dumb
Bella was taken aback. She hadn’t expected that not only had the arrangement been made, but the private room was also reserved.
"Have you already called Damian?" Bella’s eyes widened.
Bea rolled her eyes at her, "Of course. Or should I wait for you to come back and call my brother? Would you dare to call?"
Bella shook her head, "No, I wouldn’t dare. I’m afraid if I call, Damian won’t come."
"Tsk tsk, how much did you actually provoke my brother?"
"I... I’m sorry." Bella wanted to defend herself, but upon reflection, she realized she had misunderstood Damian. The words turned into an apology.
"Oh, what’s there to apologize for? That’s what dating is all about! I tease you a bit, you tease me a bit, bickering and loving each other." Bea waved her hand nonchalantly, picking up her bag and standing up. "Honestly, I should thank you. You haven’t seen my brother when he was younger, tsk tsk, clearly a teenager but acting like a middle-aged man. It’s considered cool at best, lifeless at worst. But when facing you, he’s at least a bit more lively. He’d get angry, get upset — it’s a change."
"Really?" Bella was a bit surprised. In her impression, Damian’s character, while cold, had always been rather expressive. He’d get furious, get annoyed, furrow his brow, be helpless, compromise, and even smile...
He’s not as dull as Bea says.
Seeing Bella puff her cheeks, Bea chuckled, "What’s up? I talk about my brother, and you’re unhappy?"
"No... not at all," Bella explained. "I just think Damian isn’t that boring."
"Silly, that’s how he is around you, okay?" Bea rolled her eyes, "Alright, alright, I’m still single, don’t flaunt your romance here! Let’s go, my car’s parked just outside the hotel."
Bella cheerfully followed, "By the way, Bea, how did you know I was attending a launch event over here? And that I’m with the ’Brocade River and Mountain’ production crew, did Damian tell you?"
"My brother wouldn’t tell me anything; I found out myself." Bea suddenly stopped and turned back. "Also, don’t call me Bea, I hate it when people call me that; it makes me cringe."
"Then what should I call you? Baby? Beebee? Little Bea?"
"Oh, please stop!" Bea acted as if she was frightened, "People either call me Boss Bea or Bea, you pick either one."
"Then I’ll call you Boss Bea, it sounds especially cool."
"Haha, alright, call me Boss Bea. But don’t use it in front of my brother; he’ll give me a look. So only use it in private."
"Then what should I call you in front of Damian? Bea doesn’t seem right either, does it?"
"Obviously it doesn’t; my brother doesn’t like that nickname outside!" Bea thought for a moment, "In front of my brother, you can call me Little Bea."
"Then I’ll just call you Little Bea all the time." Bella said with a smile, "Our names are similar; people call me Bella, so calling you Little Bea won’t get confused."
Bea glared at her, "Have you turned fifteen yet? I’m already twenty-five, so I feel I’m losing out here."
Bella pouted, "I’m twenty too! Not just fifteen!"
Why does everyone see her youthful looks and assume she’s younger!
