"For the Emperor!!!"

"FOR THE EMPEROR!"

"For Omnesia!"

The overwhelming difference in numbers brought no sense of fear. The Emperor's Guard raised their shining Guardian Long Halberds in response to the Emperor's call. The Undead Army immediately bore the fury of the Guard, and in the blink of an eye, hundreds of Desolate Tomb Guards and Undead Knights fell. The Great Sage Kaur of the Mechanical God Cult raised the heat guns on his multiple limbs, accurately picking off leaders within the Undead Army. Kiliman's Longsword forged a path of invincibility, Angerong's War Axe swung broadly, reaping this army, its morale, and its control over the undead.

Yet the true dominator of the battlefield was still that golden figure. His form weaved through the ranks of the Undead Army, flashing and moving like a golden lightning bolt, bringing endless destruction and judgment.

The previous second, several Blood Knights fell regretfully beneath his sword, entire rows of Undead Knights were harvested; the next second, the Emperor's Sword came down, carving a trench several dozen meters long into the forest floor, scattering an entire formation completely.

Amidst the swirling dust, not even the vampires with millennia of records could find words to describe this terrifying existence. Not even the power of the Holy Titan recorded in yellowed tomes could compare to the strength of his fist, and not even the most forbidden and terrifying curses could match the might of his sword.

The Emperor charged back and forth within the Undead Army's formation all alone; where the Master of Humans passed, undead limbs and fragments flew everywhere.

Until nothing stood before him.

Then, the Master of Humans raised his hand, platinum flames burning on his massive fist, his eyes shimmering with golden Light of Spiritual Power, and a Spiritual Storm enveloped the scene. All undead, amidst the storm's lightning, turned to dust. The Emperor's wrath was so terrifying that a single thought from him rendered the efforts of the Undead Mages void, and incoming spells simply vanished into thin air, leaving nothing behind.

Until the Undead Army was utterly shattered, until the Vampire army of Musillon, summoned over several months, was completely slaughtered, until the forest returned to peace, and all was quiet again.

Not long after, the battle was over like this.

Out of more than ten thousand of the Undead Army, only the Witch Demon King Akhan escaped unharmed, as Manfred did not join the army due to severe injuries.

The Emperor's gaze shifted; after seeming to contemplate for a moment, he gave up the pursuit. Chasing Akhan wasn't difficult, but the Master of Humans did not want to complicate matters further; if he mobilized too much Subspace Energy, it would alert the Chaos Four Gods.

Kiliman pulled his Blazing Heart Short Sword from the body of a Vampire Lord, with silver energy flow surging endlessly. The Explosive Arrow Gun in his hand dubbed the Arbitrator dealt with clusters of enemies. The Imperial Regent carefully aimed at many places, and only after confirming there were indeed no living entities nearby, including the dead, did he lower his gun: "Angerong, you seem to have weakened."

"I've just been reborn, I'm still very weak," Angerong shook his head, lowering his War Axe, which had become notched from hacking too many enemies. He simply tossed it aside: "I also lack a handy weapon."

"That's something you'll have to figure out on your own," the Emperor shook his head. "This is also a test for you."

"Yes, yes, while Laine gets to have the Masterwork Psychic Power Armor you sent, and the Goddess of Revenge prototype sword you personally modified and blessed, and I have to make do on my own. What else can I say? I'm used to it, that's how it is," Angerong's tone was filled with sarcasm.

"You massacred your homeworld after ascending to a demon, and now you're complaining to me that no one makes weapons for you?" The Emperor's Spiritual Storm completely erased the traces of the Undead Army, and he retorted Angerong.

Angerong was momentarily speechless. He thought about seeking help from the Great Sage Kaur, but seeing the Emperor shaking his head, Kaur could only express his powerlessness.

"I really must be adopted, right?" Angerong said furiously.

"Alright, alright, Father, Angerong, now is not the time to be concerned about this; what should we do next?" Kiliman saw the situation and had to come out to mediate, trying to shift the topic. The Great Sage Kaur of the Mechanical God Cult was very interested in analyzing and scanning the abandoned battle wagons and some magical items left by the Witch Demon King, looking like he wanted to take everything away.

"Let's wait for Laine to arrive, then we have other tasks, Kiliman," the Emperor sheathed his sword, signaling that it was time for us to return.

Just then, he suddenly seemed to sense something and glanced in a direction in the void, then acted as if nothing had happened and took everyone back to the safe house in the Forest Creek Valley: "Oh, you were saying Laine is about to get engaged?"

"Yes, Father," Angerong replied casually. "She's a very pretty daughter of a Great Noble, with a good personality and well-mannered, at least I'm quite pleased."

"Haha~ What good news, if Macado knew, he'd be thrilled. Let me think of what to send her."

In the void, a figure in a white silk chiffon long dress was already drenched in fragrant sweat, her ankle-length golden hair a bit disheveled, her lip gently muttering, "So that's Laine's real father..."

"A certain supreme existence."

"I must hold onto Laine tightly!"

.........

Two days later, the reinforcements that came to aid Boldro found the battle concluded and set upon the return journey.

In his third year in Brittania, Laine saw the war between the Knight Kingdom and the vampires end with Brittania's victory. After weeks of fierce battle, vampire forces were unable to breach Boldro's stronghold at Turis Castle by the Grismore River. Finally, Laine bypassed the enemy rear, burnt down the vampire siege engines, and successfully killed the Blood Red Duke, marking the de facto end of the war.

As for the vampire army, after entering Charon Forest, nobody ever saw this army again, their whereabouts unknown.

Dwarf Engineer Dugen loudly boasted about his accomplishments, describing how dwarves played a decisive role in this war, the great power of their artillery, how it blasted a siege tower to rubble in one shot, and killed hundreds of zombies in another.

Bodric deeply thanked the dwarves for their help, the Duke presenting ten large barrels of malt beer, greatly pleasing the dwarves.

Francois said nothing further, for Laine's army indeed played a significant role in this battle. Although he led only around two hundred troops, their crossbows and combat capability left a deep impression on the Duke, especially the Ranger Knights Hex and Olivier. Hex's command was adept, and Olivier was particularly brave, singlehandedly eliminating more than a dozen Desolate Tomb Guards and even two Bloodthirsty Celestial Ghosts.

"Where is Laine?" Francois asked Alfred, as the army embarked on the return journey. Laine had mentioned handling some matter before leaving.

"His brother summoned him for something," Alfred had changed into casual clothes, as his Paladin armor and shield were destroyed: "He'll return to the domain once his matters are resolved."

"Hmm, this battle really demanded a lot from Laine. As long as we have the head of the Blood Red Duke, the decree for his ennoblement should come quickly," Francois was pleased at the prospect of Laine's advancement, after all, the higher his son-in-law's status, the better.

Meanwhile, a purification ceremony was nearing completion inside an underground cave in Charon Forest.

A figure with silver hair and pale skin, and a streamlined, muscular body, was covered with only a blanket. His sobbing voice echoed throughout the interior of the cave.

"Waa waa waa~"

"I'm such a mess, it's all your fault, Father~"

"Boo hoo hoo~"

The over two-meter-tall man was completely bare, except for a blanket covering him, and he cried profusely.

"Waa waa~"

"Oh, Father, what have I done, waaa~"
