Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives-Chapter 833: I’m Not a Science Project
Villain Ch 833. I’m Not a Science Project
Meanwhile, while Allen was on the phone with Geralt, Azura’s curiosity got the better of her. She glanced at Allen, then turned to Emma with a questioning look.
"Emma, do you know a guy named Evan?" Azura asked directly, not bothering with preamble. She had a hunch that the call might have something to do with this Evan, given Allen’s secretive tone.
Emma frowned, her expression guarded. "How do you know that name?" she asked, though she knew the answer. She was aware of Evan from the detailed background her father had given her about Allen’s past, including his toxic family dynamics.
Azura shrugged, trying to appear casual but failing to hide her intrigue. "I found it on the guest list. It stood out because there was a note next to the name. I think Allen has something special planned for this Evan guy."

Emma sighed and shook her head, feeling the weight of the conversation. "I can’t tell you unless Allen allows it," she said firmly.
Azura frowned, her tone shifting to a mix of complaint and whine. "Why not?"
Emma leaned in slightly, her voice lowering. "Because it has to do with his past, and I can tell it’s not something fun to talk about."
Azura’s eyes widened slightly in realization. "You mean this has something to do with his old family?"
Emma nodded. "Yes. His past and background are more complicated than you think. I know you like him, but you have to understand that there are parts of his life that are painful and difficult to share."
Azura bit her lip, feeling a pang of guilt for prying. "I get that, but I’m just curious. I want to understand him better."
Emma’s expression softened. "I get it. But put yourself in his shoes. If you had a complicated and painful past, would you want someone digging into it without your permission?"
Azura sighed, nodding slowly. "No, I wouldn’t. I just... I don’t know, I feel like there’s so much I don’t know about him, and it makes me feel disconnected."
"Trust me, he’ll open up in his own time. Just be patient and supportive. That’s what he needs right now," Emma said with a huff.
Azura nodded, appreciating Emma’s advice but still feeling a bit frustrated. "It’s just hard, you know? I want to be there for him, but I feel like I’m on the outside looking in."
Emma looked at Azura with a mixture of sympathy and understanding. "I know," she said softly. "But yeah, that’s him."
Emma then gave Azura a teasing smile, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "I don’t get why you’re so curious about him. This isn’t like you at all. You snuck into his room this morning and checked the guest list. Now you’re asking about this and that. I thought no guys could interest you anymore?"
Azura blushed, her cheeks turning a soft pink. She looked away, trying to hide her embarrassment but failing miserably. "It’s not like that," she mumbled, fiddling with the napkin in her lap. "I mean, he’s just... different."
Emma leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms with a knowing smile. "Different, huh? Sounds like someone’s got a huge crush."
Azura’s blush deepened. "Stop it, Emma," she protested weakly. "It’s not a crush. I just want to understand him better. He’s part of our family now, right? I want to know what makes him tick."
Emma’s teasing smile softened into a more sincere expression. "I get it. Allen is... complex."
Azura muttered under her breath, "Complex." Various thoughts flashed through her mind, especially memories of how she had fought Allen in the tournament two years ago. She remembered the glint in his eyes, that determined yet cold demeanor that set him apart from everyone else. Despite the competitive nature of the tournament, there was something about him that had left a lasting impression on her.
Azura smiled to herself, then looked at Emma and said, "I guess he is complex. Maybe that’s why I’m attracted to him. Because I can’t understand him, I don’t know what his next move will be. His thoughts are out of the box and all," she confessed in a much softer tone. A small smile on her lips. It was from her heart.
Emma studied Azura, tilting her head slightly as she considered her cousin’s words. "You might be onto something," she said thoughtfully. "Maybe that’s his charm. His personality and movements are difficult to predict. He’s not an introvert, but he’s also not a party animal. It’s hard to guess what he’s thinking," she began to analyze her brother.
Azura nodded, appreciating Emma’s insight. "Exactly. That unpredictability makes him fascinating. It’s like trying to solve a puzzle without knowing what the final picture is supposed to look like," she agreed.
Emma continued to analyze. "And maybe that’s why people often misunderstand him. They think he’s a bad person or a villain because they can’t figure him out. It’s not just that he grabs their spotlight; it’s also that he looks mysterious. And there’s nothing scarier than mysterious things. It has the power to attract but also to create fear." She ended it with a long exhale.
Azura leaned back in her chair, deep in thought. "That makes a lot of sense. People fear what they don’t understand. And Allen, with his unpredictable nature, embodies that mystery."
Emma nodded, agreeing. "But it’s that same mystery that draws people in, like you and me. We see beyond the surface and want to understand him better."
Azura’s eyes softened. "I just wish he could see that not everyone is out to get him. Some of us genuinely care and want to be there for him."
Emma smiled softly. "He’ll come around. He’s already starting to. Just keep being patient and supportive. He needs people like us in his life."
Allen, who suddenly showed up from behind them, spoke up. "You know, you two don’t have to analyze me like I’m a science project." Stay updated via novelbuddy
