Chapter 541 My Real-world Charisma

Villain Ch 541. My Real-world Charisma

Allen and Vivian, wrapped up in their own world of laughter and shared glances, felt a subtle shift in the atmosphere. Instinctively, their eyes drifted towards the window on their side.

There, standing on the side of the road, was Mila. She looked like a lone figure against the city backdrop, her demeanor suggesting both impatience and a touch of annoyance. As if on cue, a sleek luxury car glided to a stop in front of her, the purr of its engine momentarily cutting through the ambient city sounds.

Vivian exchanged a quick glance with Allen, a silent acknowledgment passing between them. The chauffeur, dressed in a pristine uniform, stepped out and greeted Mila with a deferential nod. Opening the car door with practiced ease, he added a touch of sophistication to the scene. Mila, still in view from the café window, climbed into the vehicle with an air of entitlement.

The car, undoubtedly a luxurious model, purred away smoothly, merging into the city's rhythm. Allen and Vivian, momentarily drawn into the spectacle, exchanged a few more glances.

Once the car vanished into the bustling city, Allen turned back to Vivian with a playful grin. "Well, that was interesting," he remarked, a hint of amusement in his voice. Vivian chuckled in agreement.

"See? Told you she is rich. Her bag is simple but it is a famous branded bag. The price is the same as a normal family car," Vivian pointed out, her eyes still following the trajectory of the luxury car that had whisked Mila away.

The clatter of cutlery on empty plates accompanied their banter as Allen and Vivian sat in the aftermath of their breakfast. The cozy café, once filled with the scent of fresh brewed coffee and the murmur of conversations, now echoed with the quiet hum of background music.

Allen gave her an awkward smile. "I didn't really pay attention to her bag," he admitted, his gaze returning to Vivian.

"Yeah, I know that. You looked at her---" Vivian made a grappling motion on the front of her chest, a teasing smile playing on her lips. Allen's cheeks tinged with a subtle blush, and he chuckled, realizing Vivian's playful gesture.

"Don't blame me for it. She is at least a D-cup. It's hard not to check her out," Allen admitted with a huff, feeling a twinge of guilt toward Vivian. They had shared an intimate night together, and yet, this morning his eyes were momentarily captivated by another woman's chest. That's the reason why Allen invited Vivian when Mila asked him for a photo, even though it was clear that Mila only asked him.

Vivian, catching Allen's subtle discomfort, raised her eyebrows. "Yeah, I can see that, and I don't blame you for it. Don't worry about it. It's normal," she reassured him with a gentle smile, sensing his unease.

Allen appreciated her understanding. "I guess I should be more discreet about it, huh?" he joked, trying to lighten the mood.

Vivian chuckled, reaching across the table to playfully tap his hand. "Well, you're only human," she said with a wink.

"But you know, I'm surprised that the photoshoot made me better known as a model, though I've been a gamer for longer than that," Allen admitted in confusion, his fingers tapping lightly on the side of his tea cup before he brought it to his lips for a sip.

Vivian leaned back in her chair, a thoughtful expression on her face. "Well, think about it. Typical gamers mostly spend time indoors. They rarely go for a walk or leave the room. Meanwhile, Urban Enigma's audience is more diverse and comes from all walks of life. Those attending prefer to go out and hang out rather than gamers. So you're easier to recognize from there," she explained, her eyes locking onto Allen's as if to emphasize her point.

Allen nodded in understanding, the gears in his mind turning. "Ah, so it's more about visibility. I guess it makes sense. I never thought of it that way," he mused, setting the tea cup back on its saucer.

Vivian smirked, a teasing glint in her eyes. "Well, now you know. It's not just about how well you slay dragons in a game, but also how well you slay hearts in the real world," she said with a playful wink.

Allen chuckled, appreciating her humor. "Guess I have to level up my real-world charisma, then," he replied, reaching across the table to intertwine his fingers with hers.

She couldn't deny that and she could already predict that Allen would become even more famous after this, especially with the second photoshoot on the horizon and the bombshell announcement from Mr. Jordan about Allen being his son. Vivian found herself feeling grateful that she had the chance to know and be close to Allen before the floodgates of fame fully opened. She understood that once Allen achieved that status, there would be fewer people who could approach him, and most of them would be from the high class.

'Still… I'd rather be known as a pro gamer than a model,' he thought, the dichotomy of his newfound fame clearly on his mind. Having both statuses was fine, but it sounded peculiar since modeling and gaming were literally unrelated. As for his writing job, he didn't count it since he used a pseudonym.

He had expected the surge in fame, but the magnitude of its impact caught him off guard. When he had just won the tournament two years ago, no one even recognized him when he ventured into public spaces. Well, he did wear a black cap every time he went out back then, not because he was afraid of being recognized, but because he was too lazy to comb his hair, opting instead to cover it with a cap.

The realization of how much life had changed in such a short time left Allen contemplating the nature of fame. It wasn't just about personal recognition; it came with a shift in the dynamics of his interactions with the world.
