Villain in a Fantasy World; I Level Up by Conquering Villainesses-Chapter 74: S Rank Artifact- Crimson Witch’s Coffin
In the deep and unfathomable depths of Dreadmoor’s second level, there was a vast and circular room that was carved from obsidian black stone veined with a faint silvery light.
The corners of the room were filled with thick, dark, and ancient shadows, and in the center of the room rested a coffin.
This was Lilith’s hibernation chamber.
At this moment, the coffin where the injured Vampire Sovereign hibernated that was raised upon a low dais of black marble suddenly had an anomaly.
BZZZ!
Thick red blood materialized from around the dark and shadowy chamber, converging around the antique coffin even as red qi swirled around it in a violent and bloodthirsty manner.
The dark room instantly became saturated with a thick smell of blood.
Due to Zaratul’s fragmented memories that he inherited, Julian didn’t remember but Lilith’s coffin was not ordinary. The coffin was actually 1 of the 3 S Rank Artifacts usually stored in Dreadmoor’s Armory.
The coffin was the last heirloom of the almost extinct Vampire Race.
[Artifact Name: Crimson Witch’s Coffin]

>Heavy Coffin can injure S Rank Sovereigns!
[NOTE: This is the last heirloom of the Vampire Race.]
The Crimson Witch’s Coffin is the only reason why Lilith survived the events of Year 1895, a Great Battle that resulted in Zaratul’s death.
And now, this S Rank Artifact had an anomaly.
As the slaughter continued in the City of Falaniondor, the scent of blood rising into the sky and saturating the atmosphere like an offering to some god of slaughter, sound asleep within the coffin, Lilith’s nose twitched slightly.
Bzzz!
Red qi first started gently swirling around the coffin which quickly turned rapid and violent.
And as this qi swirled around the coffin, the coffin finally moved, leaving the raised dais and floating up slightly as blood flowed out from different corners of this chamber, surrounding the Coffin.
The qi density in the room gradually increased to a crescendo, and then...
BZZZ!
The coffin suddenly disappeared from the room.
Blood teleportation!
...
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The intense battle between Zaratul’s Army and the Falaniondor Army continued, leaving even more casualties in its wake as the Falaniondor Army continued suffering setback after setback.
Despite the multiple stacking setbacks that they experienced though, even as some soldiers bailed out of the battle to escape, others stayed.
The ones who stared were the patriotic Centaur soldiers in the Falaniondor Army who would rather die than see their kingdom fall from being sovereign.
They would rather die than surrender and submit to Zaratul.
And it was while they fought valiantly, standing their ground in the face of death in an absolute act of patriotism that they started noticing the anomalies.
Whoosh!
A Centaur soldier suddenly spun around, hyperventilating as his heart beat rapidly. "Did you hear that?" He asked his companion but the other Centaur didn’t even pay attention to him.
"Fool!" His companion growled instead. "What are you doing? We’re fighting a goddamn war, so of course there’ll be noise!"
"It’s not that noise, I swear I heard something else".
"Nothing is happening, focus and fight!"
Reluctantly, the Centaur turned to continue fighting but before he knew it, he felt the cold sensation of a blade plunging into his chest, pulverizing his heart!
BADUMP!
His heart beat one last time.
This Centaur froze. ’How?’
In his last moments, he turned only to see his companion with a dull and pale expression on his face, with lifeless red eyes.
His companion was the one who killed him.
’Why?’ Was his last thought.
Blood Manipulation!
That Centaur was already subjugated by the Blood Domain of the Sovereign of Blood.
...
"I see a coffin!"
"Stop it!"
"It’s sucking our blood! Argh! AHHHH!"
BZZZT!
...
"Our people are turning against us!"
"It’s that coffin that keeps on appearing, stop it!"
"Ahh, it’s hear again!"
"ATTACK IT!"
...
It started slow and controllable at first, but within just a few seconds to minutes, it began spreading like a plague.
The coffin began appearing in multiple locations at the same time, draining the blood from all its victims, creating an army of Centaur puppets in its wake who did it’s biding, leaving dried, emaciated, and hollow corpses behind.
And before they realized what was happening, this plague already claimed more than 2000 lives within a second, drinking blood!
The coffin finally fully materialized in reality, hovering in the sky above the city and covered by a thick cocoon of blood as a thick sinister qi aura emanated from it, intimidating all those who stared at it.
All enemies who looked at it suffered passive Witch Curses.
At the same time, kilometers away in the market district where a certain A Rank Necromancer fought against Councilor Ben, Bruno vividly felt the change as every single one of his Necromantic skills instantly became amplified.
His Undead Legion suddenly became stronger.
He realized what was happening instantly and he looked at the sky. ’Lilith...’
...
As soon as the coffin started floating in the sky, Elena flapped her mighty Eagle-like wings as she flew towards Dreadmoor.
At the same time, the battle inside the Central Bank of Falaniondor finally started dragging towards its conclusion.
