Versatile Superstar: Rise In Hollywood-Chapter 336
"I don't think it's a good idea. I don't think it's safe either."
"The hotel is owned by Omar's friend. It's safe."
"No, the whole idea is dangerous."
Wade said as he looked at Aiden with eyes that seem to be saying that he was making an idiotic decision. But it didn't seem to have any effect.
"It's not dangerous. I heard the food is good here."
Aiden said as he looked at the hotel building. They were in the parking lot of a hotel that was owned by Omar's friend. A room was already booked by Aiden here and he was assured that no one would know that he was staying here.
"It's not about the food. You're gonna be here for a whole month, right. Locked in. What will you even do?"
Wade asked, letting out a sigh of defeat.
"I have a lot to do."
Aiden said before he took out a bag from the car that he was leaning against. He pushed it towards Wade.
"See, I have tons of stuff to do."
"What's in it?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Books, movies, journals, documentaries. Everything that could keep me occupied. Ah, I also won't be on the internet for the next month, so please handle whatever will be going on online. If a scandal happens, you know I didn't do it."
Aiden joked but Wade didn't seem to like it. He shook his head and asked.
"What types of movies are in it anyway? Not rom coms right?"
"Serial killers."
A voice sitting in the car said. It was Tom who was typing something on his laptop.
"That and some philosophical books. Anything that makes me build Kai's character better."
Even though the script was set in stone, it was still an actor's job to build his character. After all, a script might say a certain actor said this line but how he said that line would dictate everything.
At the same time, Zavier was someone who would let him add his own tics in Kai. Better than the last time.
Just he needed time to get everything right and he felt like getting disconnected with the world would just help him focus on one thing. Darkness and isolation suited Kai the best too.
'Because you focus on yourself when you don't have others to focus on.'
He thought in his mind as they started walking to the room. It was fairly early morning but a few people could be seen in the corridors.
They didn't recognise as he was in a mask and a cap — The standard disguise for a celebrity.
"You know Vince Alter, right?"
"Yeah, I got 2 movies of him in this bag." Aiden said, looking at Wade. Tom just gave a cheeky smile hearing that. ƒ𝐫𝒆𝐞w𝗲𝚋𝗻૦𝘷e𝙡.c𝑜𝙢
"He did something like this to get into character. He was found dead in a motel like this. Was the conspiracy of the year in Hollywood."
"He used to take drugs. He mixed them with sleeping pills and other stuff. This bag doesn't have something like that."
Aiden shrugged his shoulders and Tom laughed.
"You really think Aiden is going to meet with an accident. It's funny how much you care for him."
"I'm out of work if something happens to him." Wade said as they reached his room. Aiden walked in and put the bag down and looked around.
Then, he turned and looked at both Wade and Tom.
"Don't worry, I will put a note outside my room everyday to let you know I am fine and trust me, I need to do this to play Kai with utmost care. I can't let him down when I have the freedom."
Aiden just said that before Wade and Tom left the room. Both of them look at each other for a second before sighing.
"It's interesting. His antics. He doesn't do this for every other role. So, I can expect something good."
Tom muttered and Wade looked at him for a few seconds before nodding.
"That's true. But it increases work for me. Maintaining stardom is hard when your celebrity is isolating himself for a week. But I guess, it's worth it if I see a performance that's extraordinary."

'Kai found freedom in chaos.' e a god?'
The answer was by dying. Become an ideology. Then, you move forward as a whisper.
But before reaching that ideology, there's a whole story behind Kai. It was basically about a man going against society after getting crushed by it.
For that, Aiden read a lot of books and saw movies. There was a reason why he was going for serial killer movies.
He wanted to know what made them take the step to kill. Were these people just psychopaths? But even then, they have a story behind it.
Aiden looked into it and read and read.
These things were interesting to him as he realised society in the end traps a person. You go to a school then a college then a job then marriage and kids. It sounded peaceful and stable but some people just wanted something more. Something chaotic.
In the cases of these people, society acts as the prison that had trapped them and once given the reason to liberate themselves, they would do it at one thought.
After all, these people don't have a war to prove themselves. To get glory. Nor do they have a plague to survive through. It wasn't the world of kings and queens. It was the world of corporations and media companies.
And there's people without any purpose. Just trying to fit into society when they are a misfit.
A society that looks tough and stable but once pushed a little, it will crumble. Kai found that and he made it his goal to destroy the society into pieces before rising over it as he genuinely felt like that was his calling.
Though, it wasn't like Kai was always an evil person.
He started out as someone who wanted to make evil people fear him. He wasn't a psychopath. He was an extremely smart misfit who got to the edge of what he could endure.
His plan was to rise above everyone by becoming the most feared person in the city but in his quest, he realised that it wasn't possible to do this forever. His purpose was very hollow and easy to achieve.
It wasn't enough. So, he moved and towered over it.
This was Aiden's understanding of Kai that he slowly developed in the month that he was in the hotel room.
His routine was very simple. Everyday he would watch a few movies. Sometimes over and over again. Then, he would watch documentaries to better understand it.
All this was with food that was quite good. Even while eating it, he would think if this is what Kai would like. Or used to eat.
Forming habits — He wanted to develop unique habits to Kai and this was a part of it.
Aside from that, he would spend all day reading books on philosophies and arguments against those philosophies. It was pretty fun for him as he got more and more into it.
In the end, he even got into the habit of keeping a notebook with every bit of his understanding of Kai.
He named it 'Diary of Kai'.
Day by day, he found his affinity and understanding of Kai increasing. His system was a proof of it. His habits enveloped those of Kai.
