Vampire Summoner's Rebirth: Summoning The Vampire Queen At The Start-Chapter 1311: Preparations
-----
Henriette glanced down below, the large glowing blue core of the Neutonium Mother Core was there, sitting in the middle of the titanic ark, this massive spaceship was the size of half of the North American Continent, and this core was titanic in size, being so huge it could be compared to a small mountain.
Henriette got here in a few seconds through her flying vehicles, but she was slightly scared, looking down at the blue flames coming from the core as it powered the entire spaceship.
"So Blake told me to drop this… down there?"
She looked at the small crystal in her hands, as she thought about Blake, and could see through the holographic screen by her side the battle outside being filmed. At this moment, he was fighting a powerful Ascended Xenoid, but it looked like he was in a stalemate against it.
"Why do you want me to do this so badly though?"
As she looked at the blue jewel shaped like an eye, which was attached to a gold keychain one last time. And then, as she closed her eyes, she recalled his words before he left for outer space, to protect this Ark and what remained of Humanity from the Xenoids.
"T-This is a gift for me?"
"Not exactly. I want you to bring this to the Neutonium Mother Core."
"T-The core of the spaceship?! But the radiation will kill me…"
"You don't have to go on your own, throw the necklace from above." free𝑤ebnovel.com
"Oh… I can do that, but why?"
"It'll create a special connection with someone that will help us a lot. If the worst things happen, we'll need to use the power of the spaceship itself. Can you do it?"
"…I can!"
"Good."
"Thank you for everything, Henriette. I hope you can live a good life, and I wish you the best."
"W-Why are you talking like you're leaving? Once everything is done you're coming back right?"
"…"
"Blake?"
"Yeah, I'll come back, don't worry. Now, I'll be going."
She slowly opened her eyes again, and then with all her force, threw the necklace towards the Neutonium Mother Core Reactor.
"Hah!"
As the necklace fell from the skies above the gigantic core, the small eye-shaped jewel fell constantly. There was no wind or anything that stopped its trajectory, and the radiation of the core made it feel instantly attracted to its crystalline body.
"I've done it, Blake…"
She looked into the holographic windows, as he saw him fighting the Xenoid, and then ultimately finish him, blowing him into pieces.
"H-He did it?!"
As she celebrated with happiness and tears in her eyes, the eye-shaped jewel fell to the core, and then, it touched it.
FLASH!
For a moment, a small twinkle of blue light emerged from the core, but it quickly subsided. Henriette did notice though, glancing down below with curiosity in her eyes.
"W-What was that? Did something really happen?"
RUMBLE!
"Uwah?!"
However, out of nowhere, the entire Ark trembled, something that had never happened before. She fell to the metallic floor of her vehicle, almost tripping down into the abyss.
Her assistant robots quickly caught her and dragged her to safety, moving the vehicle down.
"Haah, t-that was close! What was that?! The entire Ark trembled!"
Because she was flying within the gravity field, it meant that for her to fall due to the tremor, even the gravity field inside the spaceship was affected.
As she descended into the big city, she saw people quickly gathering together, walking downstairs towards large rooms.
"W-Wait, the cryogenic area?! What… Why are they moving there? What's going on?!"
She rushed towards her grandfather, finding him with several other soldiers and also the pilots that had returned.
"Grandpa! What's going on? Huh? Is everyone back? Blake? Is Blake…? Not here?!"
As she noticed among the many pilots that Blake was nowhere, her face was filled with despair and worry.
"Henriette! Calm down, he's fighting outside. The pilots came back due to his commands," the doctor explained. "It seems he has told everyone here to go to cryogenic sleep!"
"W-What?! Why does he want us to do that?" Henriette wondered. "Wait, is this aprt of some sort of plan?"
"Yes, and I've already been informed about it…" The doctor smiled lightly, as Henriette noticed a ghostly woman made of artificial blue light appear by his side. "By her."
"W-Wha…?! Who's that?" Henriette panicked.
"I am Aurora, the Soul of the Neutonium Mother Core, and Blake's ally," the ghostly woman explained. "Blake's plan is simple. As you can see through these projections, he's fighting an unwinnable battle to buy us time against the Xenoid Queen."
"B-Blake is…?!" Henriette panicked. "Wait, so you're… are you some kind of A.I.?! An alien or…?"
"Both at the same time in a way," the professor explained. "I am honestly fascinated! It seems Neutonium Cores aren't just an ore with magic-like properties, but they are actually living organisms! However, they live lives much different than we do, their consciousness as individuals is very small, but unified, they created a "Soul", her, who calls herself Aurora. She was Blake's friend, and he helped her gather her fragmented Soul through the Virtual Reality Servers."
"S-So you're Blake's friend!" Henriette gasped.
"Indeed, we are close friends and allies, without him, none of this would be possible," Aurora smiled and nodded. "Now, there isn't much time to explain things, but you must choose, to either join us in the Control Panel and connect your consciousness into the Ark and my Core, or go to the safety of the cryogenic rooms, where you'll be kept safe."
"I-I… Of course, I must go!" Henriette nodded. "Even if a little, I want to help as well…"
"Hah, I knew she would say that what a stubborn girl you are!" Laughed her grandfather. "I suppose there's still three members we need for the Control Panel… Them."
Emilia, Hermes, and Patrick stepped in, from within their chests, there was a powerful Aura of Energies overflowing.
"Blake told us his plan through telepathy…" Emilia said.
"We know what we must do," Hermes looked at Henriette.
"We have to hurry! I don't know if he can hold back that thing for too long!" Patrick yelled.
As they ran through the corridors, Aurora quickly glanced down at her core, which she now gained full power over.
Countless blue circuits spread through the entire Ark, making it glow bright blue…
"Blake, wait a few minutes, we're on our way!"
