Yujun’s POV

"What?" Yunah and I say at the same time and the woman’s response is to express surprise at our surprise.

I look at my sister and I see her eyes have widened the same way I am sure mine has, and even if both of us are giving the same reactions to the woman’s introduction, our reasons are different.

Why is Yunah’s so-called mate introducing herself as Jaehyun’s fiance? 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Why does Jaehyun have a fiance when he was with me all through the night?

"My Hyunnie and I have been in love since we were kids, unfortunately I had to go away for a while...but I’m back now" the beautiful woman says with an eye smile that looks harmless and disarming.

A smile that can make anyone’s heart flutter...mine would have, if not for the way my sister looks, she looks like she have just heard the most heart breaking news.

"Unnie..." she calls in a small broken voice and the woman, Sehwa tilts her head in confusion, blinks at her and still smiling softly, she asks, "Do I know you?".

"Unnie!" Yunah exclaims and instantly tears fill her eyes. I see the woman’s eyes go round with worry as she places her hand on her chest, "you might be mistaking me for someone else" she says politely and Yunah breaths in sharply.

"Unnie, it’s me Yunah! I am wearing your bite mark" Yunah says and pulls down her scarf to show the mark on her neck in desperation and I hold her arm to try and quiet her down, we may be away from the crowd but someone might see.

"I am sorry, but I am an omega, I can not mark another omega" the woman says with a very honest look on her face, and even with how she looks honest, something about her feels off.

I don’t know what to make of this, who is this Sehwa?

My Jaehyun’s fiancé?

My sister’s mate?

"Yunah, you might be mistaken" I say and she looks at me in despair, "No, oppa...this...you have to believe me, I know what I’m talking about" Yunah pleads with me as tears stream down and my heart clenches.

How many time will I watch my sister cry today while I stand by helplessly?

How can I even help this situation when there’s so much confusion?.

"Believe me" Yunah says and turns to the woman again, "Sehwa Unnie, why are you doing this? Are you pranking me?" Yunah sobs and I hold her arms to stop her from running to the woman.

Sehwa has her hands placed over her heart with a look of fear and shock on her face, acting like my sister is a crazy person who barged into her home uninvited.

Her dramatic posture would be enough to attract attention, so I bow in apology to her, "we are sorry, we will leave now" I say and Yunah shakes her head.

"Oppa...please..." Yunah pleads one more time with her eyes still on the woman and I see the sincerity in her.

My sister never makes a scene no matter what. Yunah is not a liar, neither is she a pretender.

Something have to be wrong somewhere and we need to get out of here fast, even if the Hwangs are playing us, we should never fall in the eyes of the public.

"Yuyu, let’s go" I say softly to her and wrap my arm around her to pull her away with me. And as I pull her, she keeps looking over her shoulder at the strangely beautiful woman with tears running down her face.

"Sehwa and Jaehyun together? That will be perfect for the clan growth" I hear a man say as we walk past them. The words pierce my heart and I would like to pretend that I don’t know why but I do.

I know why this hurts.

’Jaehyun is ours’ my omega says and I shut that side of me down.

Still walking I also look back to take on more look at the woman, and I see that the look she had worn for Yunah has dropped from her face.

She now has on a smirk instead, this Sehwa woman is beautiful...beautifully terrifying.

I take Yunah to the unground park and help her into our car.

"Oppa you have to believe me, she’s the one...I met her a few weeks ago at my university" Yunah insist still shaking from crying, "she says she loves me...she said..." Yunah’s voice cracks and I hug her.

"It’s okay...it’s okay" I whisper into her hair and she shakes her head, "it’s not okay" she says, "when I told her about my engagement to Jaehyun...she said she knows him well enough and they’ll make sure I’m safe" she continues to speak.

"That the pack would support our love and Jaehyun wouldn’t touch me" her voice grows weaker and she leans her body completely into me.

"She bit me...I felt the mating bond pulling me to her...I know what I felt" Yunah says again and starts sobbing anew.

It breaks my heart that I can’t do anything to help her but seeth quietly and feel stupid.

Yunah is young and naive but I’m not, I am older and more experienced than my younger sister, yet I let myself end up in this place.

I should have known.

How could I have been stupid enough to think a Hwang really wants to help me and that he cares about me?

How could I have been stupid enough to believe him this much all along.

I feel my left eye twitch from the stress, and my mind is spinning like a rollercoaster with a million chaotic thoughts.

Hwang Jaehyun bought my sister just to break it.

Was that his plan all along?

To show me how helpless I am? To show me that I truly belong under his feet with my secret in his hold?

What hurts the most is that this is how I find out about his fiance, isn’t he the same Hwang Jaehyun I had given up myself to just last night?.

I stare out the window of the car and see him coming towards the car with his hand in his pocket and his signature smug smile on his face.

Hwang Jaehyun...you truly are the bastard I have always known you to be.

A snake.

I get out of the car and with unpredicted speed, I lift my fist and punch Hwang Jaehyun right in his smug face.
